They only guarantee their work from 1-6 months. Trying to explain to them that yours should have been covered because it was a larger type of work which they had to change didn’t matter either. My 5 year old had to get what was called a mini root canal they did it fine but her tooth ended up being too small for a crown so they just made it a bit composite filling. All fine. What’s not fine is when the filling pops out 5 months later and they refuse to fix it because it’s policy.. I talked to two different people who were passing on a message from their finance department who makes the final decision. Did anyone from that department bother to call me or talk to me? Nope. Very unprofessional and won’t stand by their work. Most dentists will cover their work for at least 2 years. The dentist and assistant were also shocked when they found out they wouldn’t cover it. Went to another dentist in South Jordan and they ended up pulling the tooth due to infection underneath which a kids place people didn’t even say anything about. Also they aren’t near as kid friendly as they claim. Front space is but once you get back there they can’t even get a good X-ray if your child has a small/regular child size mouth. Overall skip this one and go somewhere who stands by their work. Update, Its now been 6 months I have been trying to work with this company, who conveniently have changed to Burg Dentistry and Orthodontics the person I was in contact with is probably ignoring me, I will most likely be pursuing legal action to get the $500.00 back that I paid for terrible work and miscommunication.

We took my son in to have some work done he had cavities on his front teeth they told us that they could fix them no problem we made the appointment and took him in because they had to use anesthesia they came out in the waiting room suprised him with a shot of anastasia he fell and my husband caught him they then took him back and would not allow us to go in the back with him! then a nurse came out and told us they had to pull the frount two teeth because the xray shows they are abscessed we sight paper work saying it was ok to pull the two teeth. the nurse went back 15 min later we heard my son screaming they would not let us back there for another 10 min when i finally pushed my way through they were holding my son down they told me he was done and they pulled all of his top teeth out except two when i fliped out over all his top teeth being gone they told me they could not save them they gave me all the teeth they pulled out and i took him to two different dentist one being our family dentist they asked for the xrays because both dentist said there was nothing wrong with his teeth besides one large cavity in the frount tooth they told me to get the xrays so i went to get a copy of the xrays and they told me there was no xrays done also my son told me and my husband and the other dentist that he woke up and they held him down and continued too pull out his last tooth.. i am so angry about what they did to my child please be cautious and do not take your child here!

This place is absolutely absurd and ridiculous. They need to change it to a few days notice if you can’t make it and not a freaking week!! Some people don’t know a week before, if they can make it or not! What’s the point of calling to confirm a dumb appointment a few days before!? $100 for a no show fee is pathetic and I’m sick of this place taking away from my family for all of that money just because I told them a few days before that we are unable to make it due to unforeseen circumstances and now my kids can’t go to the dentist unless this is paid! Not to mention the last time we came here was a few months ago and there was a little dried up blood smear/splatter on the wall that no one cleaned up and I almost leaned on it when I was waiting for my child to use the bathroom. I told the staff and they didn’t seem to care much about that. Also, the ladies at the front desk weren’t very welcoming as they kept closing the the window shutter and im assuming it was so we didn’t look at them because we were looking their way. We felt like we made a huge mistake going there just by how that felt. Please fix your scheduling and cancellation policy so we don’t have to call A WEEK BEFORE just to cancel an appointment and make it a couple days before instead. As I mentioned previously, it’s not fair to charge $100 cancellation fee because no one knows a week in advance if things are going to come up! I don’t recommend this place.

When my employer announced that our dental insurance would be eliminated within two weeks, I was scrambling to get my family's dental work complete prior to changing policies. When I called The Center of Dental Professionals and explained my situation to Cassidy, she immediately finagled time for all of our work to be completed while thoughtfully maneuvering through all of our schedules (This was no small task!). When it became evident that my daughter would require more time than we had expected to complete her dental work, Judy immediately took the initiative - again, keeping our schedules in mind - to find a way for my daughter to complete her dental work in our short time frame! My daughter is not a fan of the dentist, but she left with a smile on her face and only wonderful things to say about the entire staff! She really enjoyed Krystal as she kept my daughter calm and at ease while she endured the necessary procedures. I have never encountered such an amazing team and I am so excited to be able to continue my relationship with them under our new insurance! I could not be more appreciative of their customer service and attention to detail.

The staff here was very friendly and courteous. The receptionist gave us snacks and water while we waited. They also have a kid's play room with a movie playing, bean bags to sit on, and toys. The dental assistant, Jenny Gatrell, was very accommodating for my picky daughter when she cleaned her teeth. She didn't like the cherry flavored gel, so she let her switch to the mint flavored gel. She was patient and had a bubbly personality, which put us both at ease. The dentist, Dr. Elise Kobe, explained everything to me and answered all of my questions without making me feel like she was rushing to get to her next patient. The receptionist went over all the treatment costs and gave me a printed copy with a breakdown of all the charges and what they were for, which was very helpful. I highly recommend A Kid's Place downtown to anyone looking for a dentist for their child.

Recently moved here and took my kids (7 and 14). The office like a converted stripmall. No toys in the waiting room, the treatment rooms where stark and dingy with out even colorful artwork. The staff did nothing to make my youngest feel at ease. They said she would need several fillings (which I later found out was completely bogus, NO cavities at all) and when they tried to do the work the hygenist was so rough and kept hitting her loose tooth, even after being warned about it. When that made my daughter cry they said she would have to be fully sedated. My daughter had been to another dentist in the past. Even having a crown done with only local anesthesia. I said "no" to the full sedation, and left and they STILL charged me for the appointment.

I took my 14 month old with a wicked infection and a necrotic tooth. I knew the tooth needed to come out, I was not ASKING for her professional opinion as the problem was obvious, his face was swollen and it was evident he was in a lot of pain. She charged me $100 consultation fee, looked at my son for exactly 30 seconds and said, "yup, it needs to come out. Take him to Primary Children's as he is too young and we can't put him under here". So, why would they take my money if they were unable to offer services?? I was so upset they would take my money and waste over an hour (of wait time altogether) of our time when they couldn't help us. If my son was in fact too young they should've turned us down immediately. Very dishonest.

My daughters had their first appointment about two weeks ago, it turned they both had cavities that needed filling. Dr. Kobe completed two of them that same day, and made a quick appointment for the other two. I was very pleased with the quality of service and the willingness to answer any questions. The assistants, Jenny, Gatrell, and nicole, were very helpful and did a great job of making my girls feel welcome and at ease. The offices have special ammenities to make the children feel more at ease, and the fact that Dr. Kobe is female, was a pleasent surprise for all of us!! We have found ur new dentistry home!

This dentist office is exceptional. The staff literlally went far and beyond the usual to make sure we got everything in order. even stayed almost a hour after they closed to evaluate and really get a chance to examine every angle to make sure we recieved the best care possible. my experience was hands down the best anyone could havehoped to recieve from their dentist. I cant even put into words how much i apprieciate the care and patience they showed. I would definitly reccomend these professionals to everybody. thanks again!

I am extremely picky when it comes to picking a dentist office to visit!!! I went for a cleaning and was very impressed by all their staff! I will be back without any worries! I checked in and by the time I sat down they called me back! NO waiting time whatsoever! Usually I find going to the dentist not fun and miserable, but I found this place enjoyable! No less parking was easy and the building was in a great location!Jana did a great job and was fun to talk to! I would recommend anyone to go here!

We just moved to SLC area and I was searching for a dentist for my daughter and I found A kid's place dentistry trough my insurance and when I called them I was able to get an appointment for that same day!! and when we got to the dentist all the staff was very helpful and nice. Dr. Kobe and her assistant Alyssa made my little girl feel comfortable and safe. They explained everything they were doing to me and her which make my daughter stay calm and to cooperate. Definitely we are coming back!!

I've been taking my son here for years. Jessica at the front office is extremely helpful and friendly. And hands down, Jana the dental assistant is the BEST! My son has a horrible gag reflex so even taking x-rays is very difficult for him, and the one who has handled him the best and made his experience positive is Jana...we love her. In fact if I tell my son that I've scheduled the appointment when she's working he actually gets excited to go to the dentist.

Really disappointed in services here. Took my 3 year old daughter for her first dental appointment here. Chose it because I thought it would be more specialized in pediatric care and have a fun environment. There wasn't anything special for children, except a play area in the waiting room. They rushed through the appointment and weren't very kid friendly. Super bummed. Not a great experience for our first dentist appointment. Won't be returning.

Very friendly staff! We seen Kevin Brown and he was amazing, I highly recommend him if you're looking for a dentist for your kids! He's a breeze with the kids and very informative, just a great experience overall. My son is looking forward to coming back! Michael, who helped with billing after the appointment was also awesome, very knowledgeable and gave a real "family friend" vibe. To sum it up I'm glad I found and chose this place!

My son had to get braces and I never been threw this it's all new to me and from the front office to the account also can't forget the professionals help me threw this. And everyone there is so friendly which I really like. It makes it where you wanna keep coming back. Also the gift card they have for the kids make it fun to get receive points on there gift cards so they can receive stuff from it.

I was searching for a new dentist for my son after frustration with long waits and old technology at our previous dentist. A Kid's Place fit the bill for what I was looking for! The staff treated me and my son with respect, we got in to see the hygienist and dentist right away, and everything in the building seemed professional and modern. We'll be back in 6 months.

Just moved to SLC and was due for my cleaning. I got an appt easily (although the dentist seems to only work on thursdays. I should have been a dentist). The staff was great. I suspected I might need a small filling, which the dentist confirmed but did not pressure to have it done. Hopefully I won't need to go often, but when I do this place is worth going to.

I absolutely love a kids place! We've been clients for years now and have never changed the way we feel when we visit. The staff is incredibly friendly, and patient. The dentists are very knowledgeable and will speak to you on a real personal level, making sure you understand. My kids always leave happy :) I'd recommend this place to anybody.

Finding out your 6 yr old needs a substantial amount of dental work and may lose some teeth is NOT a good Mommy day. There is no other dentist I would have rather had work with my son than Dr. Holtz & his team. They are unbelievably patient, respectful and professional. As long as I'm in this area we'll be patients at A Kids Place Dentistry!

While the location is extremely convenient, this office is not organized and I have experienced a number of administrative issues over the years. Additionally, I don't think I saw the same dentist twice over a period of 5 years. Seems like they need to work on improving admin processes and dentist retention.

a kids place dentistry, and in particular Dr Anderson have always treated me and both my children McKyla and McKinley with respect and devotion. The assistants Melissa and Kystle are well informed as well. I would recommend this place to people looking for pediactric dentistry.

I absolutely love A kids place dental! It's the only dental office that I've been to that my son is not afraid to go to. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Jenny is great at getting my son to smile and Elise Kobe DDS is awesome.

This is an excellent place! They gave us good service. All of my 3 children are seen there and the doctors and nurses are very friendly. They offer quick service and they always have someone that speaks Spanish to help me.

Spent over 2 hrs here because it seemed like they didnt want to do what needed to be dine right away. The doctors are cool. But the assistance seems very rude and lazy. First and last time here.

Service is fine. Calling to speak with a receptionist is not. I called on four different occasions and was put on hold for longer than five minutes each time. Messages left were never returned.

Very disappointed for my first time here. The staff was not very kid friendly , nor was the doctor. The only thing I liked here were the receptionists. Will look for another dentist.
