Just an update for anyone bidding as they started having auctions again. Hours on auction bid sheet say pick up mon-wed 11-3pm. On the website says there open till 5pm. Both are wrong i showed up wed at 1pm and they were closed the the following tues at 4pm and they were closed. I think there probably going under so if you want to be charged but not able to pick anything up by all means bid at this auction. I know i wont ever again. Below is my post from a year ago shortly after they stopped having auctions. I saw it on hibid and thought i would give them another chance, big mistake. Was ok place to bid on stuff sure they were bidding up there own products but once in awhile something got through and you ended getting a good deal. It's true organization wasn't great they were overwelmed and lots of times your stuff was missing but they always said pick something else or we can refund your money. So could be a little frustrating. We'll things have changed they have more staff now are slightly more organized but now have priced themselves out of the market. I don't know if too many things were getting through they hadn't bid up or were just tired of playing that game. Now starting bids are set ridiculously high if you look around you can find better pricing on stuff that is actually new, better quality and not just cheap Wish return items, sometimes damaged sometimes missing parts. There's no gamble anymore the house takes it all. Good luck enjoy your stuff you will be hoarding if for awhile at those prices.

The mixed reviews on this place is pretty spot of to how this business is run. Hours were JUST changed on Google as they were previously wrong and despite attempts at hinting this to staff, it took a picture to Google for them to edit the hours. Staff don't know the prices on their own inventory - mostly because it's a whole lot of stuff in that store. There is no organization. Been given 2 different prices on the same item, and they were no where near close to each other. I have not had any problems with auctions, other than trying to actually pick up the items and it taking a long time to FIND them. I'v had mixed experiences with the staff, some being rude while others being amazingly friendly. Location is pretty decent, parking isn't a huge problem. Overall this is a decent store that has the occasional steal of a deal. There are quite a few points to fix, but enough to justify a 1 star.

Update hours of operation. Thought I'd try the auction. Auction site said pickup within 7 days. Company website says open only mon-wed. Google says open mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, closed Wednesday. When do I pick my stuff up? When are the real hours of operation? The hours are not even posted at the physical location. Wasted time trying to check out a different auction. Do not use the auction. They breach the seller terms of the Hibid auction website. Please report to Hibid if your auction items are not available upon pickup, or you notice your items are listed for sale in store or on their web page.

Very disappointed with this place. My boyfriend and I have bought from their auction 2 weeks in a row. Both times they've either given stuff away or told us we can't have the items we won because those items weren't supposed to be in auction. Yes they have low priced items in their auction, but when you drive an hour up and get less than half the items you "won"...it's not worth it and very disappointing. Also, this week they upped their minimum bid to 2.50. But the cutting board I got has a 1.99 sticker on it. I do not recommend using this company for your purchases

The auction is a scam. There is shill bidding, deliberately not including won items on the invoice because it didn't sell for what they thought it should as well as outbidding people then defaulting leaving them with the bill. All three have happened to me as well as "losing" items I have won. While their auctions now say they are under new management, I highly suspect that is a lie to try and lose their scam reputation. Absolutely nothing has changed in the way things are listed, starting bids or reserves to lead me to think there is new management in charge.

I would love to be able to give 0 stars, as this is what the company deserves. My advise to anyone is to stay away. First time they ended the auction early and cancelled all the bids because they didn't get what they wanted. They also disconnected the phone #, and stopped responding to emails. The 2nd attempt (should've known better) they extended the closing date another week on the auction because they did not get enough bids. Now I am stuck in limbo, as I have no way of contacting them and no way to cancel my bids. STAY AWAY

I went there to pickup my items, they didn't had almost a third of the items I won in the auction. They procede to deduct the cost of the missing items but still charging me the buyer's fees and taxes for those items! I have email them several times asking for reimbursement but they don't even care to answer. Worst of all, the items they didn't had? Saw them in the next auction!. Go anywhere else... Don't waste your time and money with this scammers!... I should read the reviews from this place before I bid in the auction.

Bought a portable closet from them today. I tried to bargain since the box is basically opened already. They gave me a $5 discount on their price and convinced me that its definitely new!!! But when I assembled it, the closet was missing about 3 important pieces for it to be able to stand properly! I practically paid for trash! There's not even a return policy! Don't risk it and just buy items from a reputable place instead.

They definitely manipulate bids, todays change of date proves many customers are aware and fed up with this auction houses tactics and practices. Please be aware and NEVER place a max bid as they will max your bid with an insider bidding account and than after the auction youll get the invoice you won due to default of the winning bid. Be aware

The auction is a total joke. They will bid you up themselves to run prices up if they're not happy with how much an item's selling for. Very poor practice. The storefront is a total disaster and the staff don't even know their own prices and the ones they do know are retail or more.
