I had to provide a morning tea for a volunteer organisation I am apart of and found AB bakery does Catering. Absolute amazing work by these guys got huge amount food for the money we spent. It was all top quality the spinach triangles were packed full of spinach. Unreal work by everyone there. Perfectly timed as well fory my pickup. Thanks so much guys. Keep up the great work and support this lovely family business. Everytime I'm in Dandenong I'll get the best falafel wrap in Melbourne and a Spinach triangle. Various Middle Eastern products are available in this beautiful store and bakery, including herbs, drinks, dairy products, canned foods, different breads types and sweets. In-store and outdoor tables are available but in-store tables are more than outside. A nice large umbrella involves thoes tables outside. The pastries provided are truly done in the Middle Eastern style with affordable prices. They are fresh & warm directly from the oven.The workers are very friendly and the cooking area looks clean. I have visited this store three times.

This place is just pure deliciousness. If you want to try something different and be pleasantly surprised, this is it ! Dandenong has some awesome food, this is one of the main places for it ! I miss the prepandemic days when this shop was packed with people and orders flying , such a great high pace and friendly vibe. As a Greek I deeply appreciated the atmosphere and vibe ! Highly Recommend ! There is so much fresh and packaged foods and drinks to choose from ! It's almost like a tiny supermarket !

Not happy! Went in 3 days in a row to get some bread at 3.30pm but there was none. Guy behind the counter said "Please come early!", with a smile. Kind sir please close the bakery early if you're out of baked goods for the day. I guess Its time to find a new bakery to shop at. I know they won't care about 1 less customer but just putting it out there.

What a great place for us to stop for a bite to eat. Awesome friendly service by the ladies and tasty food. I had a lamb shrama with just Lettuce and tomato and my wife a vegetarian cheese tomato pastry. Good value, and the baklava and biscuits were awesome for our afternoon tea at the Cranbourne botanical gardens. Thanks so much ! #lebanesefood

Always enjoy having a Lebanese coffee here at the A1 Bakery, along with freshly baked Za'atar flat bread and a sweet morsel or two, whenever our group of friends gather for a catch up. Friendly staff. Great service. Also, a good place to stock up some of your middle eastern grocery items too. Love their Za'atar mix.

I’ve been coming here for 7+ years for the kind service and the delicious mini pizzas. Zaatar, sausage, A1 special, cheese pies. They’re all delicious and affordable. In my view, this is the best cafe to make your local in Dandenong. Don’t leave without trying the baclava either!

Best middle eastern bakery in Dandenong. Cooks fresh and yummy food. Has groceries as well. Home made hummus is amazing. Spinach feta triangles are wow. A1 special Pizza with cheese is real good. Meat pizza is good too. Coffees are strong if you like heavy dose of caffeine.

Thanks for catering for our Clayton Montessori Academy Child Care grand opening! The Lebanese pastries and sweets turned out beautifully, staff were friendly and they even let us keep the jumbo bread crates for easy transportation of our large manoush order.

Came here with 4 others and got some lunch on a Thursday afternoon, the food was tasty, good to see their vegetarian options were plentiful. Prices were very reasonable and staff were extremely friendly. Five stars for food, service and price! Will be back.

Came here for the first time. They have a good variety of middle eastern groceries and a selection of sweets. Typical baked comfort pastries which are running popular all over town. I had the shangleesh pie which was very tasty. Service was friendly.

Amazing place and most generous and amazing staff. I will be a regular customer now. So happy with the service.

Friendly staff, great coffee at a great price, as of 22.6.17 $2.50 , and what about cheese pie with that, only $3.00, well, it's June 2023, the coffee is now $3.50 and the cheese pie $5.00,still reasonable prices, highly recommend.

Love this place. A Lebanese cafe that has the cheapest coffee around. Amazing array of baklava and other tempting Lebanese food. My favourite place for a coffee in Dandenong. Seating indoors and out. 2 hour free parking outside.

If you want to feel right at home, then AB Bakery is the place. The food is like you're at your grandma's place, and with every bite it gets better. (The shwarma is elite). Hospitality, second to none. Highly recommend.

Been there a few times and love the vege pies and the cakes with the nuts like baclava, and the cream cake, which the older gentleman recommended was great too.He was also the friendliest of staff but they are all nice.

A1 Bakery authentic Lebanese food that is fresh baked and delicious. Great service and middle eastern groceries. The Shanklish pie is perfect mixture of cheese, fresh tomato with a hint of spice. Always a good idea.

Nice and fresh baking product such as pizza or other mid eastern stuff. Well priced and sufficient amount (cost effective). I really like nice and strong $4 Lebanese black coffee, too. Serving food quick as well.

Lovely staff coffee was great. Cheese pie was a bit too salty this time, couldn't eat them however we have been here many times before so I know it's not always the case. Keep up the great service.

Zatar pizza was ok. Kebab was one of the worst we have ever had. I didn't feel comfortable being here from the minute we walked in , to sitting down to eat , until we left. Never again...

The staff are wonderfully warm and helpful. The food is delicious. The range is awesome. I never leave empty handed (nor empty stomach) and always leave smiling. Love this place

Cheese Pie Spinach & Cheese

Trying a bit of many things on my first visit today, savoury and sweet. Pistachios and date cookies are nice. Not too sweet. The cheese pie is good to try.

It's one of my fav place they have lots of things but what I like it is the spinach and halloumi pie meat pizza and shanklish. For sweet I go for Mamooml

Really bad Zaatar especially the bread which was so hard that it was really hard to digest. Very poor quality and expensive considering the quality

The staff are such welcoming friendly people. Their food is delicious, amazing sweet. Brilliant shop, definitely my fav. Highly recommended

Bought baklava Very bad and tasted stale. Shame they wont replace it. Taste before you buy from them. Best to avoid food from here.
