Drove across the city to this place after having confirmed with them they could cut a key I needed (even sent pictures). Upon arrival the employee took the key to the machine before returning it telling me they couldn't cut fit because it didn't fit. When I mentioned having sent a picture and being told by their office that they could do it, I was simply told "yeah but we didn't have it in hand." They didn't even explain what the problem was or why they couldn't do it. That would have been fine by me had they stipulated previously when sending the picture and specs that they may not be able to cut it, but they didn't and they were unapologetic to top it off. It ultimately ended up being a waste of my time driving across the city to their location. I eventually found another locksmith that cut the key in under 2 minutes without any issues.

Our handle on our home front exterior custom door broke making the opening of the door impossible. The Italian hardware was installed over 20 years ago and we were worried that we would have problems getting parts. I have never used ABOE Lockworks Ltd before so I did not know what to expect. I called their number and the gentlemen on the phone said they would be there just before five pm that day. That in it self was good news. Turns out they showed up even earlier. To our surprise the man who was working on the door knew the issues we will have as far as getting parts or new hardware to fit the custom door and did everything possible to repair what he had to work with. We were so thrilled with his work and attention to detail. We highly recommend this company and will use them again if and when a situation arises.

Staff on phone were unhelpful and showed little concern for my time. Were not here until well after the end of the window and made no effort to contact me and let me know. Call in for an update and was on hold for a couple minutes. Called back and reported the problem, was put on hold for the owners son. And waited. And waited. Poor job. Edit - also received an obnoxious comment via their chat interface after the fact. Mr. Reid Olson, clearly interested in regaining my confidence, was irritated to find I hadn't dropped all of my afternoon plans to hastily post an update that the service was done for free. Given that the delay cost me significantly more than what was saved with this generous gift, I think Reid should probably stick to whatever it is he does best.

Excellent service! Professional, efficient, and fair pricing. Our front door deadbolt was stuck - we genuinely believed the door may need to be broken down or something. I called Monday morning and requested an after hours appointment to have the door unjammed and install a new deadbolt. I was quoted a really fair price (compared to other companies I had called), and I was told that I'd receive a call prior to arrival, etc. The staff did exactly that, finished the work in less than 20 mins, and I was charged less than I was quoted because the work took less time than expected and they actually follow an hourly rate. I had also read a ton of horror stories about locksmith company scams, so I was very hesitant. So happy I went with this company though!

I have had not one but two phenomenal experiences with ABOE. I had a side lock that I needed to be repaired... tried doing it myself and failed due to the nature of the parts that I was using. An ABOE member actually showed me what I had done wrong and told me to get the part and try it again... and even told me not to pay him as he didn't do any work (actually!) Long and short of it, I didn't have the patience to do it myself/was so impressed by the service, I called ABOE to replace the lock in the end, and Rob came by. He was phenomenally friendly, courteous, wore a mask the entire time, and just a through and through professional. Booking was also VERY easy and were able to get me in on short notice. I had a broken key for an old Astro Van that I needed to replace. I snapped the key off from the plastic head part from trying to jiggle it in the ignition. I brought the pieces in to have it duplicated but it was really worn down from being so old that the new key wouldn't turn over in the ignition. I bought it back to ABOE and instead of copying from the old key they cut a brand new key from a manufacturer code. I was amazed at the new key because it looked so much more intricate that my old worn down one. The new key worked like a charm and turned over in the ignition right away. Its amazing that the new key is so much better because I also don't need to jiggle to get it to work anymore. Solved 2 problems with 1 new key! Highly recommend.

An easy 5 star from me. I've never had to use a locksmith before and Kent from Aboe took great care of my girlfriend and me. I was out of town visiting family and had hired a house sitter to take care of our cats. On Christmas eve at around 10:30pm the sitter stopped by our place to feed our cats when the key broke off in the lock. I called the after hours number and Kent was the man on call. He was clearly quite busy but still arranged to swing by our place to fix the lock up. He communicated with our house sitter and fixed the lock super quickly. Kent and his service literally saved my Christmas and prevented me from having to drive 3 hours home to get access to our home. Thanks a million.

I drive an older toyota that predates a lot of electronic features in cars. I've had issues with the keys because toyota makes them long and skinny which means they're prone to breaking off in the lock/ignition. I always buy toyotas, so I've had these issues chronically in the past. This last time, I've had to go through 4 key makers to get a good key and the people that did it were ABOE lockworks. Plus, they extracted the key from my trunk in 5 mins for twice that many dollars... when the guy on the phone who was recommended by one of the internet locksmiths wanted $150. ABOE is good and they do quality work, at least that is the experience I am walking away with today. Thanks ABOE.

I have a 1982 Dodge truck where the key would no longer open the doors. After purchasing new lock cylinders online I went to Aboe to have them rekeyed to my ignition key. Unfortunately they discovered my ignition key would not fit the new cylinders. However, not wanting to give up, Wade had me bring the truck to the shop where in only a few minutes he was able to rake my locks and lube the with Graphite and have them wirking again. Wade refused to take any money for the service. I can't say enough of how helpful they were. I will definitely be going back with any future lock issues!

I managed to lock my keys in my car this morning. I tried a few places before ABOE but got no response. They picked up immediately and said that they would be at my home in 20-25 Mins which they were. The locksmith who showed up was polite courteous and friendly and he managed to open my car door so I could go to work. It only cost $100 which he had told me was the price before I came. I am extremely happy with both the price and service, and certainly would have no qualms about recommending them. An all round positive experience during an unpleasant situation

I called Aboe on a Tuesday at 4pm because of an issue with our door lock. I explained my situation and we went ahead and booked an appointment for the following morning. Then I changed my mind and asked if someone could come on the same day. Luckily someone was able to make it out and he arrived about 90 mins after my phone call. We appreciate the quick turnaround on such short notice. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could! We are extremely happy with the service we received from Aboe! Thanks much!

I had the unfortunate experience in -40 degree weather to have the mechanism that opens your door snap and lock me out of my house. Lucky for me - ABOE Locksmith sent JAY out within the hour and he was able to install new hardware for me immediately. From my initial call where I connected with their Emergency on call guy (KEL) to JAY - both were extremely professional, friendly and courteous to me. I would definitely use ABOE Lockworks going forward.

The rates were lower and the response time was much faster than any other place I called. They gave me an estimated response time and stuck to it, as opposed to the original locksmith I called who pushed their response estimate multiple times over the course of the morning. The technician was friendly and there was no damage to my vehicle. It was unlocked within minutes. Definitely calling them again if I lock myself out again.

Stephane was absolutely wonderful. He was quick to arrive and was prepared for the task at hand. He was kind and incredibly understanding. The customer service he gave was above and beyond and since then I have recommended ABOE Lockworks to everyone I know. My husband and I brought a bike rack in where the key was broken off in the lock. Steve helped us and was absolutely phenomenal. He knew exactly what he was doing. Terrific service and expertise! I deal with quite uncommon locks and after having Canadian Tire cut keys that didn’t fit properly and/or break off in the lock, I headed over to ABOE. My key broke off in my Ignition, I saw Jeremy at a stop light and I waved him down. He was eager to give me a hand, unfortunately he did not have the proper extraction tool. Note that there is customer parking behind the store accessed through the alleyway. Great in-store selection of custom keys and locks as well as safes.

Our brand new door has brand new locks thanks to Aboe. The locksmith was friendly, very knowledgeable and cleaned up after his work was done. It was a very pleasant and painless experience. The door installation took a little longer than planned and I was very glad that the locksmith was able to come back a little later.

I went to Walmart to make some extra keys for the office. You get what you pay for. Apparently office lock keys can be of different thickness than standard locks and my visit proved fruitless as the Walmart made keys did not fit. I then went to ABOE Lockworks and they did the job quickly and professionally.

I messed up a smart lock and needed it reset. I was worried this would cost me an arm and a leg, well ABOE got me back and running in just a few minutes and charged me a very fair price. Definitely going to use these guys for any future lock work. Plus they have an iconic front sign, its awesome.

Half the price of the dealership if you need a transponder key. They don't offer remote keys and programming (need the dealer for that) but if you buy a remote key off amazon they'll cut it for you then you might be able to program it yourself depending on the car. Friendly service.

I needed a deadbolt replaced and rekeyed. The technician called me when he arrived and was very friendly and efficient while he did his work. The door now works better than ever, and I was quite happy with their service. I also thought their prices were reasonable.

OMG, Aboe are amazing. They came within 30 minutes of calling, re-keyed three locks, fixed the front door that sticks when closing, and cleaned all the oil out of one of the locks. Super fast and very professional service. Will definitely use these folks again.
