I was there with a photo from a retailer up the street for a price match on July 14th during the day. I showed the photo to the manager and was told it was "unacceptable and not proof" and "you must bring in a current flyer to prove this. Your photo is not acceptable. " When I explained to her, I've shopped at several Ace Stores, including hers, using a photo for proof she told me."If my staff has accepted this previously, I must discipline them." What a black eye on the name of your company, especially in a thriving area. Her people skills are atrocious, and she is incredibly rude. I will not personally go back into this store because of her actions and recommend that no one else does either.

The growler bar is nice and convenient but the service has been awful the last few times I’ve gone to fill up my jugs. The girl behind the bar couldn’t give any sort of description of the beers they had on tap and complained that she gets splashed when she changes the keg so she didn’t want to replace any of the empty kegs they had (there were a lot out of service) and we ended up with one of our growlers filled with a different beer than we asked for (just found out the next day). Definitely makes me less inclined to go to this location.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The lady with the coloured hair is always the WORST displeasure. Shes rude, condescending and when I forgot my ID(I'm 35) and sent in my partner with his ID she still refused us even though he brought in his ID (40) she needs to seriously retrained on how to speak to people or fired. AN ABSOLUTE DISPLEASURE AND A HORRIBLE ATTITUDE PROBLEM. Only the old lady with the coloured hair. All the other workers are lovely. I will be telling everyone to never come here again. Seriously train her

I do NOT drink but stop by for a friend and one word sums up, store, and staff WOW ... Nicole that works through the day, she knows the products and very educated on just about everything on the shelves. She not just a girl working at the liquor depot. .. the Liquor Depot should recognize her friendliness, education and the true since of customer service that is tuff to find in this day and age.

The store itself was amazing. Incredible selection of everything - But for me the highlight was obviously the growler bar. 16 choices of craft beers from across Canada? Amazing! As for the service, the guy behind growler bar was a total buzz kill and offered poor customer service which is what it really comes down to. I will gladly go to the capilano location despite the fact its further.

I have bought a keg on two seperate occasions at this location as a walk in and not requiring a call ahead of time. But on this dark and thirsty day I got the grumpy lazy manager who didn't want a keg sale and wouldn't even let me finish talking before interrupting with "gotta call ahead". So I sheepishly purchased some canned beer. No more keg purchases from this guy Liquor Depot.

They have a VERY large selection of alcohol. The coolers line the entire back wall of the store for beer and other premixed beverages. They also have smaller cooler near the front. Can't comment too much on how competitive their prices are as I am not a huge consumer of alcohol but I wasn't horrified by the prices I saw.

Jesse was extremely rude! He said my friend needed her ID and while she went and grabbed it I told him he could've been nicer his response was "well you started it". We got her I'd there was no need to be rude and act like a child. Jesse the younger boy shouldn't be working there if he can't handle customer service.

How can you not give a liquor store a 5 star. It’s a great place to get every kind liquid that contains alcohol. The store is well lit and clean. Service is friendly and helpful. There is an area with taps for sampling beer. And buy bottles to fill from the beer taps. This is a great store with lots of selection.

For the size of this location I was expecting a selection on par with Wine and Beyond and it's not even close. The store may be large but the selection is only marginally better then your average strip mall liquor store. I wouldn't recommend the drive if this location is out of your way.

The staff enjoys hot beverages and gossip for sure, while the customers aren't greeted, guided or offered any help or service. The products are over priced and the selection of cold alcoholic beverages is comparable to a local pub instead of a liquor store.

Was looking for something in particular. Walked the store 3 times and nobody asked me if I needed help. Waited in line at cashier to ask for help but gave up as line was too long. Walked out without purchasing anything. Found it at Superstore Liquor.

Great Liquor Depot! It’s one of the biggest I’ve seen and it’s so clean and new looking and they have a great selection! Was looking for something in particular and couldn’t find it at any other LD location but came here and found it!

This is one of the largest Ace Liquor stores that I've been too. They have a wide and diverse selection of what you're looking for. I'll be sure to come, especially if my usual location doesn't have what I'm looking.

My husband and I were in last week. I wanted to let you know about the gentlemen on the cash by the name of Braiden. He was a star! What a great personality and fun to talk to. Keep up the great work and attitude!

On top of great selection, they often have tasting stations so I may end up grabbing something I wouldn't usually! And near the back of the store they offer samples of a wide variety of beers on tap also!

Great selection overall, well stocked, and organized. Staff if friendly and mostly knowledgable. However, sometimes have to flag them down as they seem very busy or there isn't many of them on hand.

Really nice liquor store. A big selection of everything you need to party it up! Sales usually every week, and the staff are friendly and helpful if you have any questions about products.

Horrible selection of wine considering the size. Horrible customer service. When I asked the girl at the desk fir a specific wine , she was too busy on her phone to answer my question.

Decent selection of wine and growler bar. Unfortunately their Edmonton based beer is a bit lacking. They should start carrying stuff from Analog brewing, it's pretty amazing beer.
