I bought a new car, and was warned by the showroom guys to go with insurance from them, otherwise it would be hassle free process in time of claim, however that will cost me around Rs 45000. But with some encouragements from experienced buyers, I said NO to them and thought of buying the insurance from outside. On browsing, I was really impressed with ACKO giving features more than showroom provided insurance, with lesser compulsory deductible( which was 1000 where others were 2000), and also my service center was on the cashless service center list of ACKO, and that in half the price in just Rs20000/-. I finalized that quote, thinking, I wont require the claims. But within a month, I had to raise a claim to acko, thanks to my new driving skills on a tight parking. To my utter surprise, they didnot take an hour to reach back to me after I raised the claim and they sent an inspector, and the claim was approved in that day itself. The work at service centre was started that day itself, and there was regular updates of the process at service centre, which was not done by my service centre as well. Although the bill was small(Rs 28K), the promise provided by acko was kept to each words, thank you Acko.

7 days of getting bounced around 1800 calls every single day on my family floater health insurance. No pending payment on my side, after repeated assurance that the team is looking into our "issue" however after 7 days of open tickets and conversation with helpline every morning - this morning my policy shows "cancelled". Is this going to be how Acko does family floater health insurance?

Never buy insurance from acko, easy to take insurance but when you need to claim, they will work like government company, no one will listen
