I can say I dislike pork sausage entirely! I did have an order confusion with this company in which they gave me 50 percent of the cuts I never wanted including sausage! Normally I would treat pork sausage as dog food as I find it quite intolerable, but I must say their butcher does a fine job with their pork sausage, both breakfast and Italian style. It is quite palatable to say the least! Their ham and bacon is very tasty as well! So besides an entire confusion with my order they did a surprisingly good job with my order and yes I would recommend them! I was waiting for a quote and order confirmation though but the guy never called me back. Then got a call two months later saying my pig was ready which was confusing but other than that I'm impressed! If you can get your order straight the staff is great. They helped me 100%

My bf told me to go here instead of real deal meats, they're 1 lb of hamburger was sooo small, I've been there quiet abit, the other day I was in there to grab some chicken and back bacon, since the Alberta provincial government dropped all mandates I didn't wear a mask, a gentleman was very kind and helped me get my order, as I was waiting for the gentleman to bring me my order this other guy who was weighing a tub of meat proceeded to tell me there was masks at transcend, he was really rude. So as the other gentleman brought me my order and I paid I told him thank you for not infringing on my civil rights, and he said no problem have a wonderful day. I will not be shopping here again

The meats are always fresh, I am a huge beef and bacon lover and they have the best. The chicken breast are good size for stuffed or cordon blue's. Made in shop sausage's are juicy. They have specials on weekends and take care of their customers. And wow they go with the holidays to get in the mood like to go with Valentine's Day heart steaks every steak lovers dream, and rabbits for Easter. ( if you go for that) lol many more holiday surprises I am sure. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile for me in store, ready and willing to get any order for me, from German bratwurst to fresh fish and sauces, All in All best butcher shop in Edmonton for all your meat needs.

I have both ordered a freezer pack from Acme meats and gone in to their shop in person to pick up items. Their customer service is amazing and the quality of their meats is outstanding. They are a local Edmonton butcher that has been around for many years. They are well versed and knowledgeable in all cuts of meats and they cater to families of all sizes including packaging for single people. I would highly recommend visiting their shop in the Richie market. You can also stop in and indulge in treats from Duchess Bake Shop and grab a coffee from Transcend while you're there. It's a perfect Saturday morning escape.

This the place I would recommend to those looking for the perfect steak. On weekends they have extra staff to ensure a short wait time, and most staff members can help you at the counter-- rather than just one designated clerk. I was once sent here to pickup a steak, with no actual knowledge of steak, but they guided me in the right direction, werent condescending at all, and sent me on my way with one of the most delicious steaks I've ever had. OH and try their beef jerky!! 5 stars for operating like a well-oiled-machine and selling quality products.

Way overpriced and not very clean. I watched as the “butcher” weighed raw meat on the scale by the cash register with nothing underneath it. He never wiped it and neither did any of the others. Nearly twice the price for the cuts I wanted than I ended up paying at my own butcher. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Old Country Sausage in Bruderheim, call ahead and they can normally get you what you want. Or if you don’t want to drive far just go to Costco instead of throwing your money away, it’s every bit as “local”.

Knowledgeable staff, lots of free-range/ etc choices, local company, local meat, supports local farmers. Quality is mind-blowing. It's the only store I've actually enjoyed buying meat from since I stopped being vegan, and they were really helpful and gentle about my transition back to meat. We buy almost all of our grocery meat from Acme. They also carry duck eggs on occasion, great chicken eggs, the best hamburger buns I've tasted in my life, and the tastiest condiments around. Also they are just lovely people.

I love Acme. It was recommended to me 4 or 5 years ago. I have been a faithful customer ever since. The staff are very friendly polite and helpful. If you don’t see it in the case there’s a chance that they have some of what your looking for in the refrigerator. If not you can order and they’ll have it in a reasonable time. I don’t buy my meat anywhere else and I highly recommend this place to everyone. If you’re not getting your meat at Acme you’re not getting quality LOCAL meat.

Ive been dying to try a standing rib roast on the BBQ for a while and I struck out at Costco and Fresons Bros. I heard of Acme online so I decided to try it. The service was excellent. The butcher explain to me the 2-3 bone serving size. It was cool to see them prep the cut right in front of you. I can't compare prices however I knew I was looking for a fairly price cut meat. If you're looking for freshness and quality I would highly recommend Acme. Also go early it bit busy fast!

I went to Acme for the first time today and I was blown away by the customer service I received. Everyone was polite and super helpful. Having never been to a proper butchers before I was not sure what to expect, but I had a great experience. Yes, the prices are higher, but the meat is better quality and from local farmers. I also like their freezer where the meat is priced 20% off. Great for looking for more budget friendly pieces of meat. I will certainly be back in the future!

Forgive Me as this is from a good while back. But My first time being at Acme was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I had the Value Freezer Pack and it was great, a lot of variety and the quality was outstanding. The pack lasted Me about three months, which was great for Me. I wasn't there for long, but having a quick perusal let Me see the wide variety of items for Sale, which will be great. I look forward to placing another order soon.

After requesting a few quotes for a fresh Christmas Turkey from a number of different butchers I decided to go with Acme Meat Market. Corey recommended an 18-20lb turkey for my party and for having leftovers the next day. The room was full of experienced home cooks and they all agreed it was the best turkey they had ever had! The turkey was so juicy and tender and had lovely flavour. A fresh turkey from Acme Meat Market is our newest Christmas tradition!

Good butcher, nice selection including local eggs. I did my own price checking against Superstore and although I was expecting to pay more here, the difference was marginal, in some cases (roasts, sausages, eggs) Superstore was more expensive. The steaks etc. are thicker sliced generally. Also check out the freezer for goods other local farmers have contributed: meat pies, samosas and some of the best falafel I've had.

First time not just grabbing a roast at the supermarket. It was a little intimidating going to a butcher when we didn't know exactly what we were looking for. So helpful! He prepped the roast in front of us and brought it out to decide on the size we needed. Got quite busy and I can see why. Customer service was definitely 5/5.

Great quality and such a friendly team! Everyone is knowledgeable, you can order in advance and the space is so clean! It's pretty wonderful to watch the butchering happen- definitely makes you appreciate what you're going to eat. The owner is also one of the best butchers in the world and is on Team Canada!

Excellent meat. Excellent service. We have purchased a side of beef annually for the past three years and couldn’t be happier. Everything is cut, wrapped and labeled to our specifications. Their in-house sausage is delicious. And I can rest assured that I’m putting quality food on our table.

We purchased 70 chicken breasts from Corey for a family reunion. The quality was universally high and they were HUGE. You won't find anything like those in your grocery store! Combine that quality with the customer service and you have the best place to buy meat in the city.

Best butcher I've been to in Edmonton. They run a clean shop and the quality of their products is consistently excellent. The staff have always been accommodating, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Bottomline: If you don't shop here, you don't know what good meat is.

I love Acme meats! I've been going here weekly. Not only are they very professional but also great meat, great portions and well priced! For e.g. 1 boneless , skinless breast is big enough to actually be cut into 2 meals. Paying for quality is worth it here.

High quality produce and friendly staff who will cut and prepare any cut of meat to the customers preference. On days when they are closed, you will often see the owner in scrubbing the place clean and setting up for the next day. The shop is spotless.

Very helpful staff and high quality meat from local farmers. Yes, it is a bit pricier than the supermarket, but the quality is so worth it. We love that they participate as a CSA pick up location as well. Way to support local businesses and farms!

Got back ribs, bacon, garlic sausage, and beef jerky. Everything was top drawer awesomeness!! The guy that helped me was excellent and quick and everyone there had a real positive attitude. I will 100% be back for sure!!!

I recently phoned in an order for a beef roast, which I picked up already packaged. I opened it at home to find...probably the most perfect little prime rib roast I have ever seen. These guys are really, really, GOOD!!

Had Rib Eye steaks from Acme for New Years! They were pricey (45$ for 2) but they were good sizes and of my gosh they tasted amazing! Will definitely be back! Jerky was super tasty too!

Went to get some Short Rib to smoke. The guy there did such an amazing Job with the trimming!. All i had to do was put some rub and throw in the Smoker. Very high quality meat.
