Araba greets you with warm elegance. Cool slick, modern space with huge windows housed in buildings w fab architecture. Cafe nearby all located in very secure area. Tranquil moment of peaceful centering amidst noise and ruckus of city life.

Although this was my first time actually walking into the space, I liked how freeing the experience felt. Being able to just appreciate a piece and decide its meaning without having someone explain it to you is greatly appreciated. It’s also a great place to get a few photos if you please.

The ADA/Accra contemporary art gallery holds exhibitions periodically featuring works of both Ghana and non Ghanaian artists. It location at Villagio makes it easily accessible. If you prefer to see it on a weekend it’s best to go on a Saturday as they don’t open on Sundays.

  • Prospera Atibilla

The art exhibitions are displayed for a couple weeks so there’s something new to see almost every time you visit. Very nice gallery in the city. Not very big but it’s beautiful. The staff are welcoming and available to share details or answer any questions.

I came at 12:30 pm on Sunday. They were close despite on that they should be open according to the schedule. I tried to call before and after I arrived, but their phone is switched off. Unfortunately I didn’t visit the exhibition.

This Art Gallery located inside Villagio hosts some great exhibitions but they’re not always opened so call before going so you’re not disappointed.

They change art exhibitions often. So check it out often to see what is new. This is a small gallery, but it always has a fantastic exhibition.

Great space (albeit very small) Edit: my mentioning the size was not meant as criticism, but rather to let people know what to expect.
