I have just had my well used and much loved 4WD at AG Autogas for a gas tune and to sort out some running issues the car has had since I bought it. I bought the vehicle with a blown engine and put a slightly worked and modified 4.6 L V8 into it and from day 1 was never right on petrol but fine on LPG, my mechanic that sold me the Disco and installed the engine who is a Land Rover specialist, which I no longer use, could never fix it and gave me the constant run around blaming all types of things but never getting it right. After 2 years of it not being right I finally took it to AG Auto gas. John and his mechanics worked tirelessly for 2.5 days checking it out to find several faults and possible issues, all the while keeping me in the loop of what they found and exactly where they were at. After finally locating the wiring faults caused by the original install, Air Mass Meter incorrect setting and faulty fuel pressure the old 4BY is better than its ever been and running like it should on both petrol and gas, there persistence and knowledge has finally got it right which no other mechanic could diagnose and rectify. Probably not the cheapest around but by all means one of the best and I have no hesitation in recommending AG AUTOGAS. THANK YOU.

AG Auto Gas is the worst place to get your gas and engine serviced as they do unnecessary work like rotating tires from front to back I had BFGoodrich 265/70/16 a/t on the front and cooper 265/75/16 on the back and they swapped them from back to front which is just dumb. and they changed the back right turning light globe which was working at the time they just wanted to put a colored globe in and because of that the whole light assembly fell off while my car was moving because the nuts wasn't done up tight and the mechanic that did the globe accused me of lieing. and when they did the service they did not tighten up the manifold or the rocket covers which caused my injectors to leak over forty litres of fuel and it cost me over $600 to get their stuff up fixed. and they changed the gas mixture as I was getting up to 400 km per tank and now I'm only getting up to 270 km per tank plus the computer control inside the cabin was not put back properly so it fell out under my break peddle and was nearly crushed. I will never go back there again they are a joke and should not be operating!!!

As a young female I am a little apprehensive taking my Hyundai to just any mechanic . I googled and found AG Automotive website, there I read a heaps of reviews and surprised to see so many satisfied customers. I decided to give it a try and booked my car in. After making my appointment, I called to speak to David, I was shocked to not only hear someone taking the time and listen to my concerns, yet I do not have a lot of knowledge about cars but David continued to calmly gather information from me. I then took my Accent to the workshop, They did a thorough diagnosis on my "Check engine light issues", and came up with a bit of plan on how to get the issues resolved. What really stood out the most for me is the total genuine customer service interaction and very caring. The text messages I received about my car, the calls from AG Automotive, the assurance and warranty provided, and above all the value that AG Automotive added to me as a customer. I will definitely be a returning customer

This is the worst place I have dealt with . My car has been on gas for 12 years with not a problem until I went to this mob to get the fuel guage working on petrol -it was working fine on LPG . They talked me into a service on the gas. I went to pick it up and they crapped on about what they had done. I paid them (over a $1000 !!!!) drove off and went straight back , the car had no power wasn't idling properly and the fuel guage still didn't work, this is what I put it in for? gave me some lame excuses . They had the car for 2 more days and they fixed the fuel guage but it still wasn't going properly. so it went back again .I picked it up again and they had cleaned the injectors and all sorts of other things , now it wont idle properly on petrol or gas. All this cost me over $2000 and the car is running terrible still . DONT GO NEAR THIS MOB

I’m glad to have found a reliable, honest and professional automotive mechanic for my TB42E GQ Patrol. After having several issues and the car not running well on petrol, the guys at AG automotive first looked at the valves I wanted adjusted and then took a methodical approach in fixing components that were not operating correctly. After having the car for a long time with it misfiring on both gas and petrol, it now runs great on both fuels and I couldn’t be happier. I have worked on the car myself for months and have been thoroughly impressed with AG automotives workmanship and especially their clear and honest communication with me throughout the process. Did a RWC, very picky on the car and quoted very expensive prices to fix. 5 minute jobs quoted $150.00. not recommended. Also they were not busy. Told me that they didn't have time to do repairs. Held me to ramson. Quoted over $ 1300. Tinted led lights tail lights they rejected. Also, some Ford came out with tinted headlights. They would not pass them. Also said they emailed the RWC never did another case of holding to ramson. No satisfaction dealing with them very frustrating. Until now have not received the RWC documtation. Said my car was worth only $8000 to 10000 very negative, not necessary comment and inaccurate. Sold it for more than that. 1 star too generous.

Fantastic from start to finish were the boys at AG top notch and David at the front counter was awesome very helpful and knowledgeable too. I was recommended to them for my gas tank to be stamped and very glad about that as they did a great job with that, so well priced in fact that i got my RWC done there too and what i saved from other quotes i used to get a gas tune on top very happy and i wouldn't hesitate to go back and i live in Doncaster. Highly recommend paying AG Automotive a visit and using them for your next mechanical repair or assistance with your LPG gas requirements very professional honest and good quality work thanks boys. I would appreciate if Google could change the number of stars to ten for David deserves ten stars... Five just doesn't just it when you can have complete faith in their work and trust what they say. David I totally recommend to any client that is hesitant about mechanic repair, services and knowledge in a field unknown. I totally trust David 100 per cent and then some. He has amazing knowledge on all cars makes and models. Also a lovely gentleman to deal with. If anyone needs expert advice regarding LPG and automotive care DAVID IS YOUR MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! His team is full of knowledge as well.

We continue to use AG Autogas as our primary service centre for two reasons. First, they provide a first-class service to our cars. They are knowledgeable in their diagnostics and are very proficient mechanics. The second reason we use and recommend Dave and the team is the way they treat us as customers. Always respectful, they are skilled in explaining complex issues in an easy-to-understand language. As long as they continue to operate as we have personally experienced (which I believe they will), we will gladly bring all of our cars to AG Autogas.

I'm currently getting a car roadworthy done & the gas tank checked. The receptionist was lovely & so helpful getting my car in so quickly & dealing with my emotional morning coming to realisation I may have just spent 2-3k fixing prang my son did in his car he'd just bought cpl days before, he hit his into mine riding mine off & leaving me no car. Finally he's signed it over to me & I've spent heaps at Bodyworks shop & now stressed my son & I was ripped off with seller knowing it wasn't going to pass a Roady ever. So far AG Automotive have been great

I have been going to AG Automotive for over 10 years now and I have not once had any issues after my car has visited like you often hear happening at other mechanics. My car is maintained perfectly each and every time and only needs to have items repaired/replaced due to general wear and tear! The customer service is phenomenal especially for someone like me that is not in the slightest familiar with cars… AG are super trustworthy, deliver on time and I could honestly not recommend them higher! You will not be disappointed!

I will never go back to A G Autogas again , they are a rip off , I had some work done , they rang me and told me it was $120 . I said ok I will pick the car up in the afternoon , When I got there he said , there was a little mistake with your job , one of the mechanic,s spent some time on it yesterday so now it,s $256 , I was so angry and I only had $250 on me thinking it was only $120 , I just emptied my wallet on the counter and said all I got and worked out , did,nt even take my receipt ,

Our family has been taking our vehicles to the guys at AG for 2 years and never had an issue. As a woman, some mechanics can be really dodgy mongrals, but all the fellas at AG are always honest and take the effort to explain what needs to be done and why. They're always respectful and very helpful and the work that has been done in the past has been great. Thanks for making our visits easy and less stressful than a lot of other places in Lilydale.

I had used AG before, but its such a long way from home! My 19 yo converter was described as unrepairable by a number of locals due to "no parts available", and I was advised to make the most of what I had until it gave up - then run on petrol. AG has partsI AG diagnosed the cause was coming from a different source - and fixed it! I am very happy - now have to back off the pedal because of the power increase. Thank you Aaron and the crew.

Would love to send a massive thank you David and his team for fixing the fuel problem i was having with my Mitsubishi challenger. Recently had injected gas fitted to our new Ford Territory. Courtesy car provided while the car was completed. Very pleased with the result. Neat job and excellent economy. This is the 4th car our family has had gas fitted by AG Autogas. All have been superbly reliable and any service work has been excellent. Very happy to recommend AG to anybody seeking a reliable gas system or mechanical repair.

Booked my daughters new car in for a RWC, when i was there a mentioned a nagging noise the engine was making, (previous owners mechanic said it was nothing) the team at AG found the problem and fixed it with no fuss (was a loose cable tensioner). Beyond this they did the work for the RWC and had the car back in no time with no fuss and a fair price. Thanks Dave and the team.

I was having lpg issues with my ecolpi Falcon that no body seemed know what the issue was, even ford washed their hands of the issue. These guys managed to isolate the issue and have it resolved fairly quickly. They were extremely professional and kept me updated on how they were progressing. Would recommend over any ford dealer for ecolpi issues 100%

Vapor injected gas system issue on resolved first visit. My car was not switching from petrol to gas, beeping noise every time I tried. These are great guys doing an excellent job. Great workmanship, they converted my XR6 Turbo and it's the neatest LPG install I've ever seen, runs the same on Petrol as it does on LPG and the team are very friendly and helpful.
