"The store is in need of a major facelift"
Lauren/Laura (working Lane 1 - next to alcohol section around 3:15-3:45pm Wednesday 21/10/2020) she was extremely rude and unpleasant. Did not acknowledge us as human beings, after my partner greeted her twice thinking she had not heard him the first time round. Until however, she scanned bag which was the person behind us, but had fallen into our section) and when we had said ‘that’s not our bag’, she snapped and said ‘well is there a divider’ - (there was). This my first time ever putting through a negative review about an individual representing a brand/company. It’s been two days and I thought, No. people need to be held accountable. You can be rude all you want as a civilian, but when you put your uniform on and represent a company, it’s not acceptable. Other than that I love aldi supermarkets and the produce! Never had a problem at any of the hundreds of other stores we have visited!

Aldi, good selection of products. Aldi has special buys Wednesday and Saturday. I am sometimes not able to get there on these days. So items that arrive can go fast. Not all products go fast, just some. If you're not able to get there, you miss out. Get a family member or friend to go in for you. Arrive early, before they open, as the amount of people waiting can be many. I tried to get products put aside, no can do. I tried to phone, forget doing this. Hard to change Aldi, set in stone. The base lines are in stock every day. They have the brands made just for Aldi and known label brands. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. All Aldi stores are set up very much the same. 10/10 Check out the website online. #aldi #food #aldispecials @aldi
Our regular weekly shopping destination. Aisles can get a little crowded around the fruit and veg. Prices are still ok but we suspect there is price creep going on as it is an established store. Our main gripe is stock levels, there are often missing items and because there is only one type of everything, we always need a smaller shop at Woolies next door to get everything. Staff are friendly, it seems to be a chatty and happy team.
The store is in need of a major facelift. The plastic bag holders provided in the fresh food section were all but empty except one. This place is crowded on a Monday morning at 1045am. I believe if you spaced out your store a bit better you wouldn't have so many people cutting you off while trying to do your shop. Staff are ok but I do believe this place is also understaffed. Get with the times Emu Plains Aldi.
I am not happy with this ALDI in Emu Plains. I was asked (for the first time since I was 18) to show the contents of my bag. The young woman who served me was in a bad mood and very aggressive. I dutifully showed her my bag which left me scratching my head. She did not ask anyone else (crowded) just me. The aggression shown to me was uncalled for totally.
Staff aren't always friendly - unless everyone else thinks it's okay to tell customers to 'pay more attention'. Yes I hadn't noticed the checkout was closed (you were still serving and the closed sign is not on the conveyor but way up out of my line of sight), but I work in retail too and I would rightly be in trouble if I spoke to customers like that.
Bought an aldi simcard,it really is buyer beware. Had to confirm the $ taken from nz bank, that took 2 days and not matched to confirm. Next it was the passport not totalîly matching. Next day should have worked didn't. 4 days and still not working. Now it might not be compatible with Australian gh. Time to go to Vodafone
We love Aldi's prices and variety and even the service is good but tonight the store was a mess, it was hard to see past all the empty boxes, I do understand staff shortages in these current times, but simply things like house keeping (store tiding) is important to keep shoppers spending
Jeremy and Michael completely inept don’t know how to do a Lennox gift voucher and dual payments. All other stores in the building no issue. Both were warned I was a Google reviewer they didn’t care about their customers. Complete arrogance both of them. Will someone respond?
This Aldi is in need of a facelift. Go to the Glenmore Park one instead if you are after indent items like Ski wear and tv's etc. This store is always busy and understaffed, so expect a long wait and to catch your groceries after they are thrown at you in a frenzy.
Great local store! Expect the usual merchandise, specials, fresh fruit & vegies plus frozen packaged food and not such a long line at the checkout! Still a local place where people will let you through if you only have a few items! ! True Aussie spirit!!
Having to navigate through the EFTPOS because they insist on charging for credit transactions is becoming increasingly annoying when you're used to a quick tap. It's aslo challenging for less abled customers. I just watch an older lady
The check out lady really has to slow down. . They're updated the store. New checkouts and layout. They're still too fast. Already pushing items through before I had the chance to move trolley around. Is there a race? …
Good value, limited range but always has good speacial buys. The fruit and veg I have bought can be a bit hit and miss, such as zuchinnis rotten in their packs. That said there is never an issue getting them exchanged.
Helpful staff and easy to find most items. As some lines are not carried it might not be possible to complete all shopping. Pricing overall can achieve a considerable saving when compared with other supermarkets.
Very clean, organized goods display and professional checkout. Special thanks to Mr Josh who displays a very helpful, cheerful and diplomatic approach to his customers. He must have a very talented manager !
Hoping they get the present Special Buys delivery issues Sorted OR start to have a way to get Stock Availability Notifications! Come on Aldi we like you being Good- Different ... not Ordinary- Different!
Good quality fruit and Vegetables and the meat is excellent. Aldi has almost everything you want. Woolworths is adjacent if you need something else. Highly recommended for quality and cost.
They had avery good range better than our store in Bathurst i was at the range of goods hopefully Aldi will improve its range in all it's stores to the same level as the Lenox store.
As always - competitive prices although obviously they don't stock everything I need. They recently refurbished the store and moved everything around which is disconcerting.
LOVE How Aldi is getting more and more on board with Organic Clothing , A LITTLE Less Plastic! - Gluten Free - hope they start stocking Diary Free next!!! ;-) …
Most of the staff are friendly. Prices are keen and sharp.Only downside is If the cashiers would take some time to give the shopper a chance to pack the groceries.
Cheap and cheerful, stocks all your staple requirements, which includes ales, wines and spirits. Their weekly specials are a hit usually. Happy shopping.
They have just changed the lay out of the store which i don't like and this store does not have enough of the special buys. But the staff are lovely.
Also shop with no complaints. Happy people there. Easy to get around except to exit the store you have to squeeze passes someone buying at a register
My opinion of Aldi has dived following their decision to not support Australia Day. What a stupid decision - they have offended the silent majority.
Very busy store, well stocked most of the time, some recent stocking issues related to Covid 19 supply hold-ups. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Great price very good product range. Feel sorry for staff having to inspect every single handbag because they can't afford security.
Emu Plains Aldi is a clean and well organised store with helpful staff and a good variety of value groceries and daily products.
The best range of produce & a vast range of grocery items And if you forget something woolworths is straight across …
All you need for a good price. Could have more operating counters, or a self checkout. Some unique German product there too.
Great shopping at this ALDI store. Always well stocked and a neat and tidy layout. All the usuals to be expected from ALDI.
Aldi is the best place so far! Prices are lower and items are quality! I would recomend to anybody to check Aldi stores
Great value. Faves include, but not limited to: dairy, cleaning, skincare, & ready-to-eat meals.
Good variety of extra things other than groceries helpful staff. Very clean and tidy store.
Always a great time going in & seeing all the new stuff that they get in.. love it
