I recently visited Penrith Westfield Aldi saw a product I would like to buy it was on special looked good was a log splitter reduced from $250 down to $149 I thought this was a bargain I got a trolley placed it on the trolley also wanted to purchase a sensor light solar I proceeded to the cash register to find out that I have to leave my driver's licence to take the trolley out of the store the item I was purchasing was over 40 kilos I thought to leave my driver's licence was very unusual the girl was very rude and said everyone else has to do it don't you trust me with your licence I replied don't you trust me with your trolley she said that is just the way it is so I decided to leave the item there I did not purchase the log splitter I will never go back to this store very rude people and to leave a driver's licence with somebody you do not know is ridiculous according to law the only person you should leave your licence or show your driver's licence to is the police or the RMS I told this to the girl she says I don't care so if this is Aldi's policy to leave your driver's licence with someone you don't know to take your items out to the car then Aldi's can keep their products I'm not interested anymore it is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of

The official location ALDI shows for this store is incorrect. Amazing that a company doesn't know where it's own store is located and is directing potential customers to the wrong place Needs an alcohol section to stay competitive. Also needs to have an online shopping option and loyalty program because overall, shopping at Aldi is lower value for almost all products once you factor in those and the difference in variety. The people can be pretty trashy as well with open coughing and walking into you in a nearly empty shop.

Visited Thursday night Nice presented quiet store Disappointed and startled as literally had to retrieve my own items from cashier Normally the Aldi way is scan throw and go Nice and quick Cashier Was more interested in writing on paper then passing my items Shame as other than that service was good just odd

I have been an Aldi shopper for the past 12 years, been coming to Penrith plaza store for last 5 years. All our grocery requirements are mostly fulfilled with the exception of 2-3 items. Love the specials. Their quality standards have improved significantly.

Conveniently located in Westfield near Woolworths, Aldi is a in my opinion a great place to do your grocery shopping. While some products you may need are not available in Aldi, there is always somewhere close by for you to buy what you need.

Love Aldi....my main grocery shopping is done here....always bargains and always cheaper than other grocery shops..fast at the check out...just love shopping here ...my scooter fits up and down the isles easily...

If it isn't obvious that ALDI are fixing prices you might be an NPC. 13.5k employees Australia wide but somehow their prices are on par with Coles and Woolies which have 200k employees a piece !

What can I say other than ive found,staff helpful ,friendly and even though atm there maybe some meat items that can be low,they fill up fast and groceries are cheaper.

I have found this store is easily navigated , aisles are roomy and Staff are always friendly , polite and helpful . Prices are competative and products of good quality .

This particular store is often out of any of the specials, or popular items like chocolate chip brioche, and you have to park at Westfield's, butherwise it is great.

Love ALDI. Good prices & the staff are really, helpful. I went to the first ALDI store in Bankstown 20 years ago. Most of my shopping is done @ ALDI.

Everything you need,very low prices.Nice staff.Packaged salad meal kits are so much fresher and last twice as long as any other supermarket.

Clean, covid precautions in place, great selection of products and the prices are good. The staff are helpful and well mannered.
