I visit this particular location yesterday because I was looking for a pair of Strappy heels. The associate that helped me was very nice, she pointed me in the direction of the strappy heels they had already so I picked out a pair that suited best the occasion and they were pretty nice exactly what I was looking for.. I ask that guy at the counter if I could try them on in a size 8 when he look at the shoe he said that this was a size 8 and that I could try it on long story short I believe that I was sold the display shoes instead of a brand new pair, I came this conclusion when I was out living my best life and my boyfriend asked what’s that on the bottom of my shoe lord behold it was a tag, that was obviously tape on $80.00.. I’m very disappointed because that was a embarrassing moment and plus why would they sell me a display item with out my knowledge like isn’t that something you’re supposed to let the customer know and they choice and decide if that’s what they want to purchase. Very Sneaky!! I tried calling the store no answer.. I definitely won’t be shopping at this location moving forward. Beware guys when buying from there your item might get swapped out for a display shoes while your back is turned..!!!

I ordered earrings to the store and they arrived broken. When I showed them to cashier, she had an attitude like I was bothering her rather than being at least sympathetic. The whole time she was sucking her teeth and rolling her eyes as if it was killing her to do a return, as if I should have been happy with damaged merchandise. She even started to process another customer without any word to me and I was standing right in front of her. This location needs to train ALL THEIR employees basic common courtesy and customer service because it is seriously lacking and I see I'm not the only one. ‍♀️

Google says they open at 10am on Friday….. their own website says they open at 10am on Friday…. I get there at 1015am to locked doors and an employee that says (through said locked doors) they don’t open until 11am….. I’ve noticed an issue with Aldo’s around NYC with incorrect posted opening times vs. Reality. Not really the best customer experience when you plan your day to shop somewhere at a specific time.

The google maps listing says the store opens at 9am but when I arrived, the woman inside said it doesn’t open until 9:30. I came back at 9:30 and the doors were locked, no one was there. Waited around for another 10 minutes with a few other people that had been told the same thing and no one showed up to open the doors. Such a waste of my time. How hard is it to be honest about when you open??

Awful experience. Aldo needs to be less strict on their return and exchange policy. Wore shoes for a day and came to exchange and they wouldn’t accept it, even when i called the store to double check if it was okay before making a trip into the city. Now I have an expensive pair of shoes that are too big and hurt too much to wear. Will not be purchasing from Aldo again.

Worst experience ever. They made a mistake on pricing, I tried to explain that it’s not my fault they made a mistake, and they they should honor the price that was written down. Manager was rude but agreed to honor it, whilst being dismissive. They said they had my size, but another person came out and said we don’t have the size, so clearly was lying. Disappointed.

They do not close at 9pm so don't go after 8pm I was super pissed I went after work after being sent there from another store for some shoes and that store was the only store in NY that had them in the size I needed and the store was locked the gate wasn't down but it was closed. I hope they still have the shoes Friday when they close at 9pm

The store is closed due to flooding though the website says open until 8pm today. Took the train and a bus in the cold to get here. I get here at 4:30pm there are FIVE people waiting here. Somebody could have put something on the website but no one who works here cares apparently. Unbelievable!

Not many selections and the people work there don’t really care about their customers. They were chatting in a circle when I walked in the store. I was going to ask a question but couldn’t get any attention. They made it seem like I was bothering them. Never go back again!

Lady who attained me tell me ohh we have a discount on this bag and person on counter charges me something much more, and to my surprise doesnt even flinch doing that. Worst place to shop to save time, energy, money and above everything your peace go to anyother place.

I’m an Aldo fan in general, but I’ve been trying to call this particular location all day at various times of the day to check if a shoe is in stock, and apparently they don’t answer their phones. Makes it hard to be a customer if I can’t even talk to them...

Rude staff. They keep on staring at you like as if you are gonna shop lift!! First time ever shopping was a nightmare for me. I used to love Aldo but this store left me very unpleasant experience. I don't recommend it, wish I could give less than one star.

Store closes at 7pm but was there at 6.50pm and the doors were already locked. Travelled 30 minutes to get to the store for a quick purchase and ended up being a waste of time because some employees didn't want to work as per schedule. Poor

According to the information online, this store opens at 10am on weekdays. It's 11:03 and it still isn't open. There is one sales associate walking around and she has made no attempt to acknowledge when they will open.

Great quality shoes, decent prices. And the staff was quick to get the shoes I wanted to try out in the right sizes. They made great recommendations for what would work for me and my lifestyle. Will definitely be back.

Aldo is the place to go for accessories. This particular Aldo seems to be priced a little higher in my opinion, but that's because it's in a high traffic tourist area in the financial district. *cha-ching*

I have encountered couple of sales persons who have no intrest in helping customers. They dont acknowledge you, and they throw attitude instead of helping. Very unfriendly staff.

I really like the shoe request system, but the space is very small and it is hard to shop comfortably with the shotgun style room.

Have been to other NYC Aldo stores, this is the only one with a really bad customer service. The stuff working here are racists.

I have shopped this store several times and every time they have provided very good service, and the store is well stocked.

I swear I never leave bad reviews but this place ALWAYS closes early so I’ve actually never had the chance to shop there.

The ladies working there are very helpful and nice. All other stores should have more of these workers like them.
