A wonderful establishment - always super nice people on both sides of the bar and amazing service. The chicken wings are delicious! Also a great place to feel welcome to practice your Japanese (like me) or English if you are looking to do that. Aussie Bar is a real gem, and a big part of why I look forward to returning to Okayama - really going to miss it in the meantime!

nope. A star for the somehow Aussie look and some interesting people. Looking for trouble? Place where you'll be respected and treated as a customer only till you befriend the owner? Perfect spot :) Not to mention already 3 people attacked either by owner or owner's Aussie friend for no reason (unless you count owner being drunk as a serious enough reason) :)

Been there twice! Owner is a legend! Love the vibe. Most recommended for foreigners Drinks are a bit pricy but definitely worth it to have a good conversation and great music. Nachos with hot sauce must try.

Great place to meet interesting people. The staff are super friendly and warm, the food is great, and it's the perfect place to meet people from all walks of life. Definitely one of Okayama's special gems.

great bar, delicious hamburger, fried onion, wonderful with cold draft beer, a pleasant atmosphere to chat with friends. We went to watch Brazil's game in the Qatar 2022 cup and it was incredible.

Apart from the beer which was excellent, I had a nice moment in this bar. It is a really friendly place. I learnt a lot about Aussie football thanks to the owner. :) Great place!

Lucky enough to walk in when the owner had his brother visiting from aus, real stand up guys and a good beer selection. Cheers for the awesome night and hangover

Came here for the fish and chips which were pretty good. Bar owner and his wife were friendly and chatty and it has an atmosphere that kinda reminds me of home.

Jay runs a great establishment. Fantastic hamburgers and brilliant hospitality. Met some great characters and the staff are all fabulous. Highly recommended.

Great place for foreginers to meet in Okayama. Owner has been in Japan for a long time, so knows the area really well...best freshly cooked burgers in town!

Didn’t have a meal but I did enjoy a number of thirst quenching beverages. Shout out to Jay and Ash for their hospitality

Jay is a very welcoming host and the bar has a great atmosphere. He’s been running the place for 23 years. Highly recommended!

Great food and great selection of alcohol. They have darts and plenty of seating. Awesome place to meet with your friends.
