I went for hair and makeup. I called to ask if I could come 30 minutes prior to my appointment which receptionist allowed me. They started my hair since make up artist was not even there. I asked for simple loose curls. Also showed them picture from their website. Make up artist came late. She started commenting on my eye brows, so I let her fix even though I had them done a day ago. I kept reminding of my time to be at the event. Which she didn't pay any heed and kept threading my eye brows. She started my make up and I asked her for false lashes which she didn't have. I asked her to use white pencil for my eyes and she didn't have that either. My eye make up was a total disaster, no eye shadow, no contouring, no highlighter was used. She kept cleaning the smudges she created while applying mascara and eyeliner. I was very disappointed and my curls were gone after she finished my make. She charged me $162 for such a pathetic make up Which I could have done at home. i will never go back.

This is the best salon ever in Matthews, North Carolina. Anjana, the owner is very respectful and kind to people and she is very helpful when it comes to giving advice for better regimen and proper hygiene. I personally love getting my eyebrows done and I am happy that I found out about this place, and the prices that Aarushi Salon offers is very affordable and reasonable! Definitely will be coming here often for eyebrow threading and definitely will look into other offers this wonderful salon has! Definitely everybody should come here, you will not regret anything! Anjana is a wonderful person and she’s very funny! This is my first day meeting her and I instantly felt welcome in her presence and the salon! Thank you Anjana for your work today on my eyebrows, I feel very clean and brand new! Thank you for the massage as well on the eyebrows and temple, it helped to relieve my stress and anxieties.

Only some constructive criticism, first kind lady doing my hair seemed inexperienced with how to cut hair and made me nervous, then Ruby came in and saved the day as she knew exactly what I wanted and did it perfectly. It seemed as I was practice for the first lady as she didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Also, in no way do I mean disrespect of any kind, the entire staff didn’t seem to know English very well as my wants weren’t coming across as needed. In addition, I was disappointed but understanding as the haircut only costed 35 dollars which is great but if I wanted it blow dried, the overall price would’ve been 80 dollars which seems obscure. Overall, I do LOVE my haircut from Ruby who knew what she was doing instantly and the staff was very friendly as we listened to some songs. I sadly will not be returning as it is a very far drive, but thank you for the amazing cut Ruby <3

Owner is very ill mannered both with the customer and her employees. I drove for 40 mins to get my hair highlights. The owner was not happy that i am getting partial highlights ($90) as she was looking to get more business from me ($180) for full hair highlights and that she was showing frustration on her employee. She started screaming on her who was working for my coloring, Very annoying behavior that i have ever seen from anybody saying right in front of customer that she is paying only partial hair color $90 this that’s , so you better don’t color for more this hair that hair, pulling my hair and showing her employee. I felt so embarrassed and unprofessional behavior, and left the parlor without even getting coloring my hair. This is not acceptable, one should learn to behave with their customer.

I went to this salon to get my eyebrows threaded, she did a good job. As I was leaving I noticed that they also do hair. Showed her my hair, I specifically asked if they work with my hair texture. She said yes and that she even has someone who is good. I wanted to change my hair color, get highlights and style for $140. She said no problem. Made an appointment, once arrived, the lady whom she said was going to do my hair looked at it and called her to the back pretty much telling her she can’t do it... owner came back saying she will do it in 15 minutes. The other lady ended up doing it, all she did was changing the color. No highlights and no styling. If you need more than a blow dry this is not the place to go. And they still charge me for something they didn’t do. Would not recommend.

I use to get my eyebrows threaded at another salon but my favorite aethetiscian ended up quitting. I thought I would never find someone in Charlotte to do a good job with my eyebrows. I always said my eyebrows are sisters and not twins, but because I had someone who knew how to even them out, my expectation of achieving the perfect brows didnt seem impossible to meet... I just so happened to find this salon when I was desperately in need of an eyebrow threading. From that first visit let's just say, I won't go anywhere else!!! The owner is super personable and doesn't rush the threading service. I always leave with even, symmetric, and naturally arched threaded eyebrows. I truly recommend! The salon also offers other services for hair and skin care. Will be sure to try a facial soon!

Before you look at the pics please understand that I am not angry with how my eyebrows look. Overall, this place is very friendly and warm-spirited however if you’re like me & like thick eyebrows - that’s NOT their speciality. Pic with glasses is how I like my eyebrows. Pic without is what I left this shop with after instructing that I like my eyebrows thick. It was my first time here so maybe there’s someone else that does a better job with thicker eyebrows. I won’t be returning purely based on shape (hopefully my eyebrows grow back quickly ) but like I mentioned in the beginning this place is good priced & friendly.

Because of the pandemic, I've been very cautious to where I go, but this place did not disappoint. You will be very happy coming here, it is clean and they follow CCD guidelines and she is very knowledgeable. I really liked the fact that she took her time and did not brush me off. I even did my eyebrows which I haven't touched in over a year. I will definitely take a ride back to take care of my threading needs. I have very sensitive skin and she treated my face very well, which has been a challenge for me as well. Thank you again, hope to see you soon.

I moved to CLT the end of 2017. I am really picky about my eyebrows, so finding someone to thread them was hard. I first started out with one lady whom I never felt actually did anything to my brows. They never looked super clean and defined. I ran across Aarushi Salon and have been happy ever since. My brows last me 3 weeks and they look AMAZING! I will continue to go hear. My only complaint is sometimes I don't feel "welcomed", but not a big deal. Other than that I highly recommend.

I have been wanting to try threading for years because most people take off half of my brow with waxing and tweezing. I decided to give it a try this weekend and made an appointment the same day I received service. The owner did an amazing job on my brows and understood that they are thin. She suggested getting them tinted, which I did and it just enhanced her work even more. I am so in love with my brows and cannot stop staring in the mirror at how it enhances all of my features.

I am new to Charlotte and was looking for a salon to do eye brow threading (4 months w/ no threading because of covid ) and I am so happy I found this place, owner was very friendly and professional, she offered as well to get my eye brows tinted and best decision ever. Recently relocated to North Carolina and I loved the service I received here! I googled some places near me and this salon was the only place I found open on a Sunday without a bad review. I didn’t even have to explain how I wanted my brows arched. Very clean, professional, and efficient. The threading used is painless and Anjana makes you feel very welcomed. A total waste of time and money !!! They imposed a hefty charge for my hair colour, took 4-5 hrs to complete and still managed to miss out on a patch of greys. Further more they left a stain my forehead and neck. Upon reporting the same they tried to remove it with makeup removers and some other thing that I couldn't figure out. That has now left a rash within the scar..which would take a good 1-2 weeks to heal naturally. Horrible experience!!! Please avoid if you can.

Hands down the best eyebrow threading I've yet to experience... from the results to the customer service to the ambiance of the salon. I absolutely LOVE Aarushi, and since going there I have yet to let any other person touch my eyebrows. It's that serious! Not to mention, the brow massage that follows the threading alone is worth the $9. Definitely highly recommended. So far, I've done threading and brow tinting. Looking forward to my facial.

This is a family owned business and it’s a very welcoming environment. Every time I get my eyebrows done here, they always come out perfect and the owner really takes her time on them. She is also super sweet and nice. I enjoy talking with her during the service and she really takes an interest in who her clients are. Anjana is now the only person I trust with threading my eyebrows and definitely will be getting a facial from her soon!

It was absolutely amazing. Everyone was very nice. Mya was so knowledgeable about wavy hair that she helped understand my hair better. The haircut she gave me helped the disaster of an old haircut look better. I will definitely be coming back here for future haircuts. I’m still working on getting my hair healthy, so all of her advice and suggestions and bought a few things. My hair in this photo needed some oil, which I applied after.

The customer service ALONE was enough for me to drive the extra mile for my eyebrow services, once the location opened. Added bonus, I have found someone I trust to thread my brows and give them the best look ever. I am done with the mall spots where I have to experience someone different each time. I've done my eyebrows in many places across the country using both wax and thread and by far this has been one of the best. Usually threading can be a bit painful, but she was very gentle and she shaped my eyebrows perfectly, you can see she is a true professional and her stellar reviews do not lie. Very happy to have found such amazing place and near my home at a fraction of what I used to pay.

I have officially found my new go-to place for eyebrow threading. Anjana is so friendly and does a fantastic job shaping my eyebrows to perfection! She somehow manages to make it less painful than anywhere else I've been, and the massage at the end is great (especially for the $9 price)! I had a great hair cut experience. They understood my details of required style very well. It has a very friendly environment and people are very friendly and experienced too. Their price is so reasonable than others that takes $40 just to cut bangs. My sister got her eye brows done too, it was good. Next time i will go for my hair coloring.

For years, I went to Great This or Super That for haircuts. I tried Aarushi after seeing it advertised in The Mount Everest Bistro, a great Nepalese restaurant nearby. The woman who cut my hair did not hurry and did a superb job. She got every hair correct. I am very happy when I look in the mirror.

Ruby is incredible- I have thick long hair that usually takes a few hours for stylists to cut shampoo and blow dry out, Ruby did it in under an hour and a half and was THE best hair cut I’ve ever gotten. Won’t go anywhere else now!

Anjana did my brows so clean! The arch was perfect. You can 100% trust her with your eyebrows. I haven't gotten my brows done so perfectly in a long time. The salon is warm and friendly and has a small cozy family feeling.
