Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with this service. Last week, I had an over the phone consolation with a doctor. Our conversation lasted approximately 3 minutes. In that time, she took little to no care to understand my situation. She explained I had a respiratory chest infection and that she would prescribe some medication. She then ended the call quite abruptly as she was “driving”. I was prescribed an antibiotic + steroid. Less than 24 hours after taking the prescription I started developing strong migraines regularly throughout the day. I have only experienced migraines two or three times in my life before this and now I was having them daily. After a few days of persistent migraines I travelled to my home county and visited my GP. My GP explained that this antibiotic + steroid were in no way suitable for me and that I should not have been prescribed them as they are for rather extreme circumstances. I’ve now stopped taking the prescribed drugs by this facility and my migraines are lessening, thankfully. My overall experience with Abbey Street Medical was undoubtedly negative. I would not recommend this Medical Centre. I do not believe the staff are well-trained and found them rather rude and dismissive. I don’t think they are bad people and everyone can make mistakes but when working in healthcare, you need to care. I would urge others to avoid this facility and choose another service that puts patients first.

Absolutely wacky place. Showed up on time for my appointment, then waited half an hour for the doctor to stroll in off his lunch break, then waited some more. All I needed was a prescription written, nothing else. When I finally got in to see him, he told me the dose of my medication is too high and that they don’t even carry it in Ireland. This is my first time with this doctor and I’ve been on this dosage of this medication for several years in Ireland. He writes me a one week script for 5mg instead of a month of 20mg. This is a medication with severe withdrawal side effects, potentially fatal, and after a LOT of back and forth with the receptionist, I finally got a temporary script for 20mg. They also told me to keep the prescription I had to ring up my old gp and ask them to send my records over; the former gp said they’re not allowed to just request that over the phone, and the receptionist seemed woefully unaware of the official form she had to fill out for this. To top it all off, they don’t have a card reader, so I had to dash back out into the street to find a cash machine. The temporary prescription came up and when I went to renew it, instead of a repeat prescription fee of ~€25 they charged me €65. This price is not listed on their website, and any correspondence I have with them seems to just get lost in translation.

Top marks. Dr Ban Mustafa is an excellent doctor with a warm professional approach, that treats you with dignity. She is very accommodating and is extremely knowledgeable and I feel safe and secure in her care. It is rare that you find a doctor that doesn't patronise you as a "deaf person" first and a patient second. (The horror stories I could tell you...) With Dr Mustafa, I am clearly a patient first and a deaf person second, which is the way it should be. I would recommend her to anyone. Not just the doctor. The staff as well deserves commendation. When I explained that I would not be able to hear the intercom, we quickly sorted that issue. No problems at all. Very obliging. Yes, full marks for the Abbey Street Medical Centre Dublin.

Dr Ban Mustafa is great doctor for me,I started to get checked with her since I came in dubljn and it's been a long time.She treated piles well gave medications which really helped and now for diabetics I get checked with her,for my experience she is too good,though I shifted from city and staying far from city but still come yo her for checkup as she is good and her treatment too.I couldn't get any good GPS near blanchardstown,I tried couple of them but they were worst.I have referred couple of people to her,they also are satisfied with her service. Highly recommend her in dublin.

I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS CLINIC ! I went to gynaecologist last month for an infection and they said they would call me when my results were done but never got.a call back until after three times that I rang them they said the laboratory doesn’t do this tests anymore. In the consultation I asked to do all the analysis required to confirm I’m clean enough to start the necessary treatments But when they said the laboratories don’t do any more if this I felt very disappointment like if I would have a serious infection they’d never call me back to say this. This is a very bad way to work.

I've been there a few times, I have always came up satisfied as all my questions and worries have been clarified. Dr Ban Mustafa is kind and highlighly experience. She gave me all the confidence to go through all my concerns as a female doctor as well as a General GP which is so hard to find in Dublin, she takes the time and goes through everything I asked and gave me the best solutions which have worked perfectly fine for me. I definitely recommend this Clinic and the treatment you get since you get in there, very friendly and helpful.

Went to get a referral for further support regarding my eating disorder instead I got told that I look good and probably don't have an eating disorder. I got a prescription for anti-depressants and a recommendation to privately visit a psychiatrist. The doctor gave me a photo of a strictly confidential document so I can have the contact information of the psychiatrist he recommended, that was in the letterhead of that document. I feel so many things went wrong during this visit and am very reluctant to returning there.

Can't recommend this doctor's office enough. They have agreed to see my 5 month old baby in a very short notice while my doctor I was going to for years refused to see her. Doctor was so nice and reassuring. He put my mind at ease within seconds from coming in. Also, I am sorry I didn't get the name of the girl on reception so I cam mention her by name but she was also absolutely incredible. She helped me with the buggy up the stairs and was just genuinely welcoming and nice. Thank you for being so kind :)

My daughter has been suffering with chest pain for a long time and it was suggested that if prescription did not work that she needed to be referred for MRI . She wanted to be referred to Afidea in Tallaght but instead was referred to a place in Smithfield ( probably connected to the practice ) everytime she tries to contact the practice she is ignored . Only when she is paying is she contacted promptly. She has parted with a lot of money and is still unwell . What a sorry state of affairs !

I went there two weeks ago I had an allergy all over my body and doctor Mustafa as soon as she saw me she knew the cause of it. the treatment she sent me worked immediately I'm very thankful as I was very scared as I've been to other Doctors here and they have never been able to give me the right treatment for the allergy reactions I tend to have. Doctor Mustafa is an amazing dermatologist I highly recommend this clinic.

It was my first doctor experience in Dublin. When I went for an appointment, they made an appointment as soon as possible. The girl at the reception was so sweet and kind. I was examined by Doctor Ban. I paid the registration fee 35 Euros. they work in cash. I was treated very well and the clinic was very clean. A clinic and doctor that I can recommend to anyone who really needs it. Thank you.

I have been with abbey clinic for the last 5 years. Indeed, the most treasured of the Doctors I have been privileged to meet. Dr. Ban treated me as if I was a family member during all meeting with her. They are very friendly and treat you very nice. They keep my information up to date and follow with me if needed. Ban mustafa is the doctor that saved my life. The one that cared for me when i had an infection caused by my iud, when other doctors couldn’t find a diagnostic. She is a trustworthy person, she talks very nicely and openly and cares for her patient. She has magic hands. I will never be able to thank her enough for saving my life.

Arrived at clinic at 11 (according to google that’s when they open) and nobody here!!! Saw opening time was actually 12… fair enough. Waiting for an hour and 20 minutes and still nobody here or answering the phones. Joke shop not medical clinic. Suffered more with the pain waiting around rather than my actual pain. Clowns

I went to Abbey Street Medical a few years ago to grab a quick prescription when I was sick and have never gone to another GP since then. Dr Ban immediately puts you at ease and takes to time to discuss the options before you undertake any procedure or new course of medication. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Got the appointment the same day I called. When I got there I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who made me fill out some details as it was my first time. Went to see the doctor, who was friendly and professional. Took no more than 15 minutes. Very good experience and would recommend to others.

Dr Ban is a sweet lady ready to help anytime. I was severely sick and got cured in 3 days. I didn't expect that quick recovery. She was kind enough to answer me in middle of night about my illness when I was panicking. 100% satisfactory experience!! I would suggest the clinic.

We were recently holidaying in Dublin and caught a virus, we found the practice and were relieved the receptionist had a friendly manner and the GP was impressive, very friendly and professional.

The weekday and weekend doctors are great. Both are very professional and pleasant. The wait time varies. One time I only had to wait 5 minutes, another time over an hour. It's cash only.
