Every bed has mosquito nets, but you don't really need them. I stayed in a private room. Everyone is nice, and you can meet travelers. The price is reasonable. You can pay a little for laundry service. Breakfast is some delicious fruit and maybe toast. Totally safe, it's a relatively nice part of town, near Acacia Mall if you need an ATM or groceries. I actually never felt unsafe anywhere in Kampala because during the day there are people everywhere, and Ugandans are very nice people. I hope to be back some day.

The place is good for short stay and kids friendly. my daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. the staff are friendly and the environment is awesome and very safe. Theres a very big mall near by for all you might need. however I wasn't impressed with the furniture in the room, kindly work on that to match the standards of the villa. I recommend others to make acacia villa their home away from home.

I stayed in a dorm and I haven't seen private rooms, but the main building is great, the garden has a great view to the city. The breakfast is amazing and not the same every day. The ladies are doing a great job for sure! The place is clean, and the desk is absolutely helpful with any kind of questions regarding Kampala or Uganda all around. I got quite a lot of recommendation from Benjamin about where to stay around the country. And none of them was disappointing. Thank you!

It was a very nice hotel. The staff are pleasant and the breakfast is good enough. The view is excellent and inside you can have a relaxing time. You also get to meet not only Ugandans but also travellers from all over the world. The hotel also has cooking utensils so you can cook simple meals. I'm Asian, but I've never experienced any discriminatory behaviour or offence!

Scam hotel ! The pictures in reality is totally different from the pictures online . Worst experiences ever !! Rude customer services and refused to refund after realizing their own mistakes. Absolutely an outrage ! Will NOT recommend this location to any traveller. Ps. The front desk server even have languages harassment to Asian traveller, this is an unacceptable discrimination against any traveler with a peaceful heart and want to discover this beautiful land. What a shame !!!!

Well, i believe it's a good place but wasn't Pleased with the breakfast service. There are no choices of foods for breakfast but the waitresses will always deliver only one choice of meal with watermelon and pineapples only. Better if you can make some changes by asking your guests the choices of breakfast they want and would suggest a small buffet at least. Cheers

We've spent two nights in Acacia Villa. On the first night we've been upgrated for free because the room we've booked was not available. Hot shower. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff and a place to socialize. Minimum confort but really ok for the price. Close to the shopping Centre. More

Spacious, quiet place with ideal location. Several things could be improved: the shower barely trickled out, the doors aren’t labeled which caused other confused guests to be knocking on our door at 11:30, the cigarette smoke from the next room filtered into our room.

Right from the gateman, so rude. Then the pricing is in dollars yet i booked in Ugx. The rooms don't have inside toilets. Have to leave the comfort of the room to go about 30m to access the bathroom

I stayed at Acacia Villa a few months ago with 2 friends. It's a great budget-friendly option for backpackers, small groups or couples and solo-travellers! During our time there, we stayed in the 9-person (?) budget room and a 3-person

A nice place to stay, they also have dorms and rooms for backpackers (about 30k per night including breakfast). The location is good and feels safe, a walking distance from the Acacia Mall.

Google should really consider adjusting its rating system to give weight to reviews according to time spent in a location. As I write this review in September 2023, I've been living in what has been home for over 8 months now: Acacia

I had a great experience!, Its a quiet, tranquil and serene gateway. Agnes and Jien were so helpful. A few things could be improved, among them outdoor garden seats and tables would be nice.
