A Rocking Experience at Accor Stadium! Accor Stadium deserves nothing less than a 5-star rating for delivering an unforgettable experience during the KISS concert. My Mum, sister, and uncle attended the concert, and we were blown away by the fantastic venue and the electrifying atmosphere! First and foremost, the stadium's location is perfect. Situated in a vibrant area, it is easily accessible and well-connected to public transportation. This made our journey to the concert a breeze, allowing us to focus on the excitement of the night. Upon entering Accor Stadium, we were immediately impressed by the well-organized and friendly staff. They guided us seamlessly through the entrance, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. Their warm smiles and helpful demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the night ahead. The stadium itself is a marvel. The seating arrangement provided excellent views of the stage from every angle, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the concert. The acoustics were outstanding, ensuring that every beat, riff, and lyric could be heard with crystal clarity. The comfortable seating and ample legroom further added to our enjoyment, ensuring that we could fully relax and soak in the magical performance. Accor Stadium's facilities were top-notch. The cleanliness of the venue was impeccable, and the amenities were well-maintained. The variety of food and beverage options available catered to different tastes and dietary preferences, ensuring that everyone could find something to satisfy their cravings. The efficient and friendly service from the food vendors and staff added to the overall positive experience. In terms of crowd management, Accor Stadium excelled. Despite the large number of attendees, the staff efficiently guided us through security checks and ensured a smooth flow of people. This attention to detail allowed us to focus on the concert without any unnecessary distractions. Lastly, the overall atmosphere at Accor Stadium during the KISS concert was electric. The energy and excitement from both the performers and the audience were contagious. The stadium's design and layout created an intimate feel, even in such a vast space, making it a perfect venue for concerts and other events. In conclusion, Accor Stadium provided an exceptional experience for the KISS concert. From the friendly staff to the excellent facilities and superb acoustics, every aspect was carefully curated to ensure an unforgettable night. If you're looking for a venue that promises an outstanding concert experience, Accor Stadium is the place to be!
The stadium has undergone several refurbishments including a reduction in seating to allow for retractable seating to allow for multisport use (round and rectangular sporting codes). In addition to hosting the Olympic Games, the stadium hosts Australian Rules Football, Cricket, Rugby league and Rugby Union matches as well as concerts and other events. Stadium Australia will host the nation's opening game of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, when the Matildas take on Republic of Ireland in Group B. Three knockout ties and the final itself will also head to the venue as football's trip Down Under concludes at this colossal arena. The winner of Group B will take on the runners-up from Group D in the last 16 on 7 August, with the last of four quarter-finals set to follow five days later. The second semi-final will take place at the venue on 16 August to confirm both the final and third-place play-off fixtures ahead of the showpiece event on 20 August.
Pretty average, uncomfortable seating with little space, touching person next to you every time you move. Try and book an aisle seat so you have room to move and people aren't practically on your lap when having to walk past you. Used toilets as soon as gates open and their dirty obviously not having been cleaned prior to opening. On top of this male toilets seem to be poorly designed with just 2 cubicles in each = Fun times at a sold out event with wait times if you need them. Take your own water in plastic bottle to avoid the high prices here. Was disappointed to find that after paying so much for water that it wasn't holy water to reflect the price. Alot of the seat rows and numbers were missing which made it hard to find correct seating. Ended up asking first staff member and they weren't sure either. Thankfully the second had more of an idea. Due to the poor/non existent indicators we observed lots of people being in the wrong seats.
Attended two games for the FIFA Women’s World Cup - Matildas vs Ireland and the QF between England and Denmark. The stadium is HUGE. The stands aren’t as steep as the newer Allianz Stadium, meaning you are located much further from the pitch (particularly in the upper tiers). The size of the stadium and the design of the roof mean a lot of the sound and atmosphere feels like it’s lost compared. Still, when the stadium is full, it’s a sight to behold. Food and drink service is fast but the options are pretty limited. Again, feel the newer Allianz Stadium offers a much better game day experience. Accessibility is a bit constrained, and will be much improved with the delivery of Sydney Metro West and Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2. Bring them on!
Again another fabulously stadium in Australia. A bit out the way but truly excellent transportation to get there and get back. I went by water ferry (very nice and then a 20 minute walk) and then went back my train to central and then by tube. Really easy and really simple. Really clean stadium again with great food selection - with awesome healthy items not just fish and chips, burgers and pies. I also love the coffee carts making fresh espressos. Great view from the stadium to the city and really good views of the pitch. The acoustics are really good as well- which really generates atmosphere for the players and fans. I can't wait to go back and see another game.
I recently attended an event at the Accor stadium and I must say it was an incredible experience! The facilities were top-notch and the atmosphere was electric. The stadium staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring everyone had an enjoyable time. The seats had excellent views of the action, making for a memorable evening. The sound system was impeccable and the lighting effects were stunning. I was impressed by the variety of food and drinks on offer, which were all reasonably priced. Overall, the Accor stadium is a must-visit venue for anyone who loves sports or live entertainment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience.
TICKETEK ONLY Accor stadium only allows people to buy tickets to their events using Ticketek - NOT Ticketmaster. The difference is that while the Ticketmaster system allows people to queue online for their tickets, the Ticketek system is a lottery. This means that fans who have waited patiently for tickets to their favourites acts have the same chance at getting tickets as people who have only just logged on and entered the “queue”. This combined with many cases of poor customer service and unpaid refunds from Ticketek beg the question: WHY DOESNT ACCOR USE A DIFFERENT TICKET PROVIDER? Do better Accor - switch to Ticketmaster.
A great stadium, easy to get to, easy access with public transport and plenty parking options to choose from. Bars and eateries on multiple levels and outside the stadium, but horrible beer and wine selection inside the stadium. Multiple entry points and spiral walkways to optimize people movement in and out of the stadium. The seating is not very steep, so you do end up quite far away from the field if you are higher up in the grandstand. We were there for a music concert, so this meant we were very far from the stage. The sound was lost in such a vast stadium but then it was built for sport and not music :).
Went to the NRL Grand Final! WHAT a great atmosphere!! Very noisy!! Great fun! The amenities were clean all the time. Heaps toilet paper in loo!! Lots of staff around if you needed help with anything. The food was OK.. footy food! Excellent travel by train from Circular Quay, to the stadium. They had extra transport with buses and trains. To get back to Circular Quay trains left every 6 minutes. It was very well organised to get all the 80 thousand plus people moved! Great day out!
Had Such an amazing experience here with my family of 5 to see the monster trucks for monster jam Was so much fun with a great view of everything. Not to far of a walk from the train station. Easy access with our pram and found our seats with no problem at all. Lots of toilets which was absolutely the best with my 3 year old. Had plenty of places to get drinks and food but a little on the pricey side but still good staff were friendly. Overall great time out at Accor station
ED SHEERAN's concert was the absolute BEST! The guy is UNBELIEVABLE!!! There is nothing he cannot compose, sing, or play! He sang a meddley of songs for over 2 hours in a row! He just kept on delivering! It was a GREAT SHOW! Parking was easy... but pre book to avoid stressing about it. Food, drinks, and even Krispy Kreme doughnuts were easily accessible all night. And in taking the right turn out of the car park we avoided traffic.
Attended Panthers vs Melbourne. Experience was fantastic with heaps of big screens to watch the players on if action wasn't able to be seen on the field. Half time activities were enjoyable. Easy access to and from the stadium with no issues catching transport back to where we came from. Looking forward to going to Accor Stadium again next year to catch some games. I would recommend this for a family night out, getting ear muffs for little ones is a good idea too
Was in one of the private suits watching the Rabbitohs vs Panthers. Great service from entry to seating - Sienna was really helpful. Really clean as well. Food was decent. Drinks selection was great - from wine, to beers (both regular and zero alcohol) and non-alcoholic drinks such as tea, coke, etc.. Toilets in the private suites though, however was pretty nasty. Not sure if it was because of other patrons but sure feels like the regular toilets.
It was my first time attending a concert at Accor Stadium last week and the experience was nice. Very central and close to the Olympic Park train station However a couple of suggestions would be to add more water bubblers so that people do not have to queue up in long queues to buy a bottle of water. Also the toilets could be cleaned more frequently. Also the spiral ramps to the higher seated areas are quite cumbersome to walk up.
Great world cup match between Australian Matildas and English Lionesses. Once we eventually got to the stadium (after problems with the trains), there were no issues finding our seats and we had such a great view of the game. Only issue was train service, it took us 4 hours to get home as vandals had damaged signal equipment further up the line causing total chaos. But overall great game and great stadium!!
Went to the NRL Grand Final - don't be fooled by the seating map on the Ticketek site. We paid top dollar for Diamond seats and were seated on the try line, even though we chose Diamond category and NOT Try Line View. Not enough food and drink outlets to cater for the number of attendees. Getting the train there was easy. Getting the train home was a complete shamozzle and very poorly organised.
We had a great afternoon at the NRL Grand Finals. It is always hot there and today was no different, there was a hot breeze up until about five pm, the breeze was a small help. Always drink plenty of water, take a hat and use sunscreen. I like to have a fan it makes shade and allows me to cool myself. If you have room take a mist bottle of water that works a treat as well.
The whole experience from entrance to see seating was easy. Considering the amount of people at the stadium the flow is good getting in and out. I would recommend eating from Hungry Jack's, Subway or the eateries before the stadium as the lines can be long. Also the food we brought was not worth the money nor the wait. Definitely go back here and have gone back many times.
Attending for the World Cup round of 16 to see the Matilda’s play. 5 stars for the staff of the stadium for assisting with access for a temporary disability requiring a wheelchair. All the information provided by email about how things would be was how it was on the night. Thank you for the service you provided that allowed our whole family to have a fantastic night.
Had to get to section 624. Had to walk all the way up a circular driveway on the exterior of the stadium. No escalators. A bit old and many seats are a long way from the playing area. Took the ferry from circular quay to Olympic village stop but the bus had left because ferry was delayed. Badly organised. Acoustics ok. Seats were big enough.
Best stadium for multi purpose events throughout the year. Stadium vecinity and surrounding areas are well designed and purpose built, however the road and public transport infrastructures are yet to develop further to cope up with the crowds for major events. Sydney Olympic Park train station is right opposite to the main entrance.
We went to watch the Rabbitos vs Roosters and what an awesome atmosphere! It’s such a large stadium that it’s easy to get lost throughout! Food prices are extremely high due to being at the stadium, pie, sausage roll and chips were $6.50 just for context. It gets really windy here so make sure you keep a jacket!
Great stadium but a bit of a pain to get in and out of. Pretty good views from any seat - the restricted view seats generally are great value and have a decent view, very little restricted. Wish the food options were better and the seats were closer to the field. Epic atmosphere for the latest World Cup Games.
Going to the Accor stadium was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Entrance was easy and fast using mobile phone, food and beverage service was fast and efficient. The staff were friendly and helpful; I sat in the wrong row and then someone guided me to my seats and the exit was flawless.
I loved the events I went to at this stadium, it was incredible, it's massive the view looks really great and it has fantastic sound acoustics! There was good food and drinks to have close and it was nice and comfortable too. The KISS concert sounded and looked incredible, absolutely gorgeous!
Stunning big stadium well connected with the city. Beer and other alcohol inside. I went here to watch the state of origins, which was lush. You will not be able to bring inside alcohol bought outside the stadium. You can bring in soft drinks. Better than expected.
Amazing Stadium. The ease of accessing public transport even with large crowds is a credit to the Stadium management. How the Security used within the facility could certainly be improved with most more interested in watching the event than the crowd behaviour.
Super Clean, many food & drink points. Basic food items around $6.50, add $8-10 for items like fish & chips. Alcoholic drinks were around the $15 mark. Lower tear seating is close to the action especially at the sides. A very respectable sporting stadium.
Went to Ed Sheeran concert, venue is pretty big to accomodate 90k fans Easy accessible via public transaport and $30 flat fee for car park Staff is courteous, selected there hospitality package and assisted us last minute change on dietary requirements
Huge stadium with an awesome vantage point to watch football, even from afar. They serve beverages (including alcohol) and some light snacks (hot chips, crisps). The queue in the toilet can get long if the stadium is full, but it's just a quick queue.
It’s never easy to get in and out of a large venue, but as far as Accor goes it was well organised and flowed OK. I will say the seating inside was slightly roomier than most venues I’ve been to, making the long sitting experience more comfortable.
Accor was built for great sound. Every show that I've attended here & that's monthly for music concerts has been phenomenal. Acoustics are exceptionally good. Also great signage to find your way around, ample bathroom's & foodarys on each level.
WWC was awesome! We proved we can host these big events (yet again), C'mon Sydney, let's bid and host much more. Thank you Matilda's for your brilliant performance and awesome showcase of depth and skill in the squad. We are so proud of you! ❤️
Great venue to watch live sports amd concerts ive seen plenty here from NRL grand finals, AFL finals, Matildas vs Denmark , Guns N Roses and many more evey event has need special in one way I recommend comming here and having a great time
If you come an even and couldn’t book for parking I recommend you to park a bit far like 1 km it’s not too bad to walk and also free parking as well(2p). The stadium have a lot of toilets and staff very helpful. Enjoy your show
Great venue, easy parking and easy venue access. Most of the stadium (side sitting) is covered and fantastic in any weather. Still great piece of Olymlic infrastructure that is greatly underutilised for what it can deliver.
Had a great night at Accor Stadium watching the back to back Penrith Panthers go back to back to back. Amazing atmosphere, those Broncos know how to travel and make noise! Thankfully the Panthers finished the game well.
76,000 people can’t be wrong! Comfortable & half open air stadium. Great lighting can see mostly everything, plus has several big screens. The usual fried food selection & limited drink choice. Better to eat externally.
It was great, and I was especially pleased that the inside the stands were air conditioned! Great venue. Ed Sheeran put on a good show. There were near 90,000 people and we got around perfectly without and bottlenecks.
Accor Stadium is home to the biggest and best sports events in NSW. Seating up to 80000 spectators It’s never easy to get in and out of a large venue, but as far as Accor goes it was well organised and flowed OK.
Great stadium, went there for Guns n Roses concert. We had an amazing night. Toilets available on every levels. Wheelchair accessible. Near from the station and it was managed well by the staffs.
Excellent stadium for concerts! It’s massive, and to get good seats can be difficult. Parking isn’t great around the area, so definitely do your homework before your visit to the stadium.
It was a nice windy day watching the bulldogs play against the Titans win by 2 points very close game. Enjoy my time there, improving on cleaning the toilet and adding more soap refills
Was very pleasant experience! Had a great time! We were down at the field side. Quick admission. You have to book your parking slot to P1 Sydney Olympic Park - $30 one time entry fee
Saw KISS - End of The Road Tour at Accor. KISS were amazing! Accor Stadium...Super Average as a venue. Seats were uncomfortable & over priced. KISS - Unsurpassed! Love Love Love !
Great stadium, was there at the dress rehersal for the opening ceremony of the 2000 Olympics games, then there almost 23 years later for Ed Sheeran concert. Amazing venue
Went to the stadium for the World cup match, the atmosphere was amazing, the facilities are brilliant. Very quick access and egress from the stadium and the area outside.
Amazing place, went and saw Red Hot Chili Peppers and the sound was awesome, it’s a solid stadium and honestly a good place to go see your favourite bands. Thanks guys :)
Stadium is nice and was clean for the Women's World Cup Soccer. One thing we found interesting is they do not sell popcorn/kettlecorn but it was good for stadium food.
Visited the Juicy Festival, walking into the stadium took my breath away! So many seats ! I am from the country, so I guess seeing things of this capacity was amazing
Great stadium even after 22 years from Sydney Olympics the venue is well maintained. Well organised parking and venue entry from multiple gates to reduce congestion.
Went for a Semi final match Panthers vs Storm great Atmosphere but Platinum ACCOR seating seating on level 5 is by far the best experience ever super friendly staff
Stadium was great, staff were great, we were there for the womans world cup semi and final, atmosphere was excellent. Food and drink normal price for these venues.
Kiss last concert in Oz, one of the greatest bands who always put on an amazing live show they're endless, can't keep going until yr 80, or can you? …
Saw the great KISS last night. What a show. 50 yrs of greatness. For those who have never seen KISS live, you have missed one of the greatest rock shows ever.
Went here to see kiss for their final curtain show, stadium was huge and the sound was amazing and clear, would definitely go back if I went back to sydney
Made Australia proud hosting the World Cup Finals. A world class sporting experience with fantastic atmosphere, entertainment, food, free transport
Great views and easy access to this well designed stadium; adequate toilet and food facilities make it child friendly and family orientated.
Great stadium, easy to reach by public transport. Only downside is because it is so huge, some of the seats are way too far for spectators.
Very well planned. Everything is easily accessible. Every seat has great views. Been to a bunch of events here. Picture is from Monster Jam
Every time I visit to this place I feel so fresh,so proud that the stadium has been standing there 20 years. So much sports history behind.
Have been to a few concerts and sat in a number of different spots - a great view from anywhere - Sit in the lower levels to avoid vertigo!
It was interesting to see all the names of every athlete that competed at 2000 Sydney Olympics on the poles in alphabetical order …
Great stadium clean and well maintained in the corporate section, shame that transport to the area is soo poor! …
Staff very friendly. Stadium was fantastic. The overall layout of everything is great. Train from Central …
Great stadium, good views and sound. Easy access and exit. Plenty of bathrooms. Parking is good and close by
The KISS concert was awesome, I totally enjoyed all the old songs and the atmosphere was electrifying.....
Great stadium, easy to find seats and stands. Parking a bit of a pain and expensive but it is what it is.
One of the best stadiums I've been to. It's really clean and early easy to find your way around it.
Attended a game for the FIFA World Cup- amazing experience, electric atmosphere!! Go Matildas!!
Magnificent stadium !!! Pity the parking facilities and external toilet blocks dont compare.
Okay stadium, not the best to watch a football game but the 80,000 capacity is great
