Accra Polytechnic may have been renamed Accra Technical University. It offers basically technical courses like civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, lab tech and other useful courses. The school has some large number of students from Nigeria. The institution is located in the centre of the city. Hostels are available within and outside the school. There are no wheelchairs to some of the blocks and lecture rooms. Lecturers are professional teachers and the school is accredited for all its courses. Foreign students pay higher fees and require permit to study in the school.

I am a scholled here and I can testify of living in the school. The school is very good academically and with highly trained professional lecturers. Students are really challenged to learn and exam malpractices are highly punishable. The little challenge is that their hostels are very few. And can't accommodate a lot of students.

Tertiary Institution with both the old and young people grappling for the opportunities it has to offer. I only pray they don't only live within the scope of their tenure on campus but look beyond the classroom weighing their actions and inactions towards days of realising their dreams and not regrets

The surrounding is well kept. Surprise to mention that area is not as noisy as it used to be. I saw that the University has built a 100 plus stores at their back side for rent to increase their income to run the institution. Bravo on positive investment drive. I salute the management and the board.

This school , ATU is the first technical university built by the government. It was formally called Accra Poly. and currently has one of the best facilities to build your technical knowledge vis a vis home science. Can be located around Tudu with nice compound.

Great institution for building skillset. Formerly Accra Polytechnic. You can't go wrong with an institution that used to be a polytechnic especially for skilled workers who require some form of certification or accolades.

The rate at which some lecturers talk to students in terms of helping is bad a lecturer refused recording our exam results which we couldn’t graduate now we have to write that same paper all because of her, it’s very bad.

It's an experience in a small university as such with so many departments and programs. It's an educational institution that seeks to shape wards to fit society and groom them towards life and it's survival needs

It's a good university, but the facilities need to be upgraded. Having recently been upgraded to a university status, they have a lot of work to do for it to be on par with the other top universities in Ghana.

A good place to find several courses on Academia. At the time of my visit, there was an examination ongoing and the seriousness of the students made me realize how good the school will be. Thumbs up

I don't know about their academic standards but the "1 star" is for the amazingly unattractive environment. For a tertiary institution the entire layout of buildings is clumsy and almost chaotic.

It is a tertiary school within the Tudu Community well protected with high walls . The relaxation under the nim trees is worth it as it helps remind one about the need to value trees .

It is not a fanciful place and nothing much to excite you about but you can get whatever you want due to its closeness to the market. It was fun but wish I could have had more.

The map is the best option for your unknown destination but the problem am encountering now the life direction, mine is no more working please there anyway out?

This a place for quality education. They offer various kind of courses and certificates. Lectures are well organised and academic tolls are easy to access.

Nothing special, University campus is good, tho honestly they could do more about the hostel issues for the students cause there isnt enough.

Though the University is at the centre of the city, it still maintains its serenity and a very conducive environment for studies.
