Great place to take your "fur baby "! Or any other pet you have! You can say a "hole in the the wall" spot. (Very smart for the owner to have picked this location - perfect business for any neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods). Walking distance for some neighbors - I usually walk. Yes, appointments are needed - but are usually available for convenient times for the customer. The staff is very well trained, super friendly and the Doctor knows his stuff. The Doctor & staff work perfectly together as a team to insure your pet is literally in "great hands"! The prices are unbelievable affordable! I have been back numerous times and will continue to go. If you haven't been here - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY FOR YOURSELF!!

Such a wonderful staff and Doctor. I brought my 1st lab here 4 years ago and have always had a great experience. I recently brought my new puppy in and everything went as well as the 1st time. They took great care of her and did everything to make her 1st visit as comfortable as possible. The vet techs are easy to talk to, beyond sweet, and offer tips on how to care for your pup. Dr.Lan is quiet but that has never been an issue for me. He does his job well and always has an answer for my concerns. There is a good balance here. I never feel like I’m being sold things I don’t need. Ace Veterinary Clinic has always given my pups a great experience and I’ll continue bringing them here.

I will start will the pros then end with my one con. The price is probably the best thing about this vet. We took our two dogs in and it cost under $200 which is pretty dang good! The staff is super friendly and I feel that they are being very safe about COVID and following procedures very well. The inside is very clean and well kept. My largest problem for first timers of this vet is the outside of the building. We considered leaving do to how run down the outside looks. Other than the outside of the building looking very sketchy, if you need a good place to bring your dogs. This vet it pretty legit.

This is one of the best vet offices I've been to in San Antonio. The doctor is very knowledgeable and I could tell that he really cares about animals and loves his job. He's very patient and kind. The vet technicians were very kind to my dog and super thorough about explaining everything step by step. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet as well and made checking in, out, and paying a very easy, hassle free process. I will absolutely be returning and recommending this office to my friends and family.

I recommend them highly they provide great service and great pricing. I hope that doesn’t change because our babies need their vaccines and check ups but not everyone can afford vet pricing. It is a little out of the way, I was coming from San Marcos but was very worth it. They visit from beginning to end was a great experience. My fur babies were very well taken care of and the receptionist and tech had a great attitude that made us all feel comfortable and like family!

*****FIRST VISIT IS FREE***** VERY AFFORDABLE VACCINE PACKAGES***** Ace Vet Clinic was great, the assistants were knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. The doctor was a little standoffish and provided very little (almost none) verbal communication. But his energy was pure and he handled out puppy Kayne with care and concern, and provided education when asked any questions (which were not many). I highly recommended this vet. I already scheduled Kayne's next visit.

The staff and the Doctor here are very professional and know their stuff. First of all thank you to the nice lady at the front desk who was able to squeeze us in. You may have saved our cats life. Our cat came in with a respiratory infection and they immediately tended to him and administered the right medicine. No nonsense mark ups etc. I have been to many vets in my time and this is the place I will always come back to. Thank you!

This vet ROCKS. I had to bring in a new kitten who was sick. I didn’t have an appointment but they saw me in about 5 minutes. Dr. Lan & his vet techs were quick & gentle with Penny. The total cost of her medications, flea treatment, and dewormers was only $100. I didn’t even have to pay for the vet visit because I was a new patient! They took such good care of Penny. I definitely plan on making this clinic my regular vet.

I highly recommend everyone to this place. The vet is old school and realistic, which I appreciate VERY much. My friend had to put her dog down today and it was so beautiful. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The only complaint that I'd say I have would be their phone system, however, if you go to their website you can send them emails and they are quick to replay, usually within 24hrs.

The staff is very friendly. The doctor treats your pets like if they were his own. The vet doctor treats your animals with love & respect. The clinic staff treats your pets with lots of love my first time there and i fell in love with the place the doctor & staff are very nice. I recommend this vet clinic to anybody they are not expensive and they treat you nice & with respect.

I been taking my dogs over 3 years and the vets and nurses are amazing people. Easy to talk to them , very good information on pets health and addressing concerns. And the best part is their prices are very fair, I never felt I overpaid for any of their treatments / injections. I recently moved away from the area but still make the drive to make it to the clinic.

This is a great budget friendly vet they truly care about the animals. I've been to other vets that drive up the cost by running expensive and mostly unnecessary tests making it cost more to take care of your pet than yourself. I'm so glad I found this place I highly recommend taking your fur babies here

Dr. Lan and his staff offer professional and compassionate care to all the patients & their families. I ride the bus 2 hours to get to visits, so, you know it has to be worth it in order to take that kind of time to get there! These are my fur kids that they treat. They love Dr. Lan and his staff. :-)

Finally a vet we can afford and doesn't try to layer on hundreds of thousands of extra stuff the dog needs. We have 3 and our old vet raised prices so drastically, they became out of reach. The doc here is smart and practical and the staff are kind and helpful. Ace has become our new vet of choice!

Brought my Sadie girl here after having a terrible experience at VCA Becker, as soon as we arrived they were ready for us we were in and out in a reasonable time. Staff is super friendly and caring about their patients on top of affordable. Will be my go to place for my pups in San Antonio.

The 1st time I called a nice gentleman spoke with me. When I called back several times, for an appointment, it answered and sent me straight to music, 4 times. Then when I called again it sent me straight to a full voicemail. A total of 6 attempts and nothing. Customer service sucks. Sad.

We have 6 dogs and this is where we now take all of our dogs. Very affordable and the staff is very friendly. Service is fast and they’re open on the weekends! We used to go to “my pets vet” and we would pay an arm and a leg, this place provides the same services at a lower cost.

Brought my crazy pup in for a suture removal after getting canceled by my primary vet. They worked me in same day and worked very well with her hyper-ness. We were one of the last apt of the day and we got to talk to most of the staff. Everyone is very kind and very attentive.

There was no waiting. I parked at front door. They helped me with the carrier's. Doctor saw my fur babies within 3 minutes. Was nice didn't talk much. I was finished in minutes with help carrying my babies. Such sweet employees.

Had to have one of my kitties put down a few weeks back. Office staff is super nice...Dr quiet but accommodating. Took one of my other kitties for initial well visit w/shots. My kitty(who spooks very easy) was just fine there!

I think my bulldog loves the vet tech more than me. The ladies are so sweet to him. And the Vet is straight forward and easy to work with. Easy to get his meds replenished every month. Only downfall closed on Mondays.

My GSD hates having his nails trimmed, and Petsmart wouldn't trim them because he kept getting spooked. Took him in here, they soothed him, and had finished trimming his nails in 10 minutes. We will be back. …

Open on Sunday, that is an unusual thing, but it is really convenient. Pets are only seen by appointment only. People that I have talked to said you will be seen in a day or two no more than that.

Dr had no personality wouldnt answer any questions or talk to us! They made it seem like i neglect my dog which i never do! He has severe allergies being a pit/lab/staffy mix! We will not return

The staff and Veterinarian went above and beyond to help save a 5 week old kitten. I named him Miracle. He did lose his vision, but he is a fighter. He is a welcomed edition to our family.
