Went to see Jai after suffering years of repeated knee and calf injuries/pain through running and after treatment from two other physios over the years who did not get to the actual cause of my trouble. Quickly took confidence in Jai's knowledge and calm but forthright manner! He quickly diagnosed the root causes of my issues and set me on a path of recovery. Jai's approach is holistic which has helped improve my diet, recovery, strength and endurance - meaning I am now running upto five times a week (injury free), completed my first marathon and booked two more this year! I could not have even imagined doing this in my previous condition. Thank you Jai!
I suffered from an exceptionally bad case of frozen shoulder after having my first Covid jab in February 2021. I was trying to get this sorted via my doctors which proved to be nigh on impossible. I spent 5 months not being able to use my arm. I was given exercises over the phone!!! Rubbish. Anyway, short story is, I booked in with Jai in October. In 45 minutes my super hero got my arm moving. It hurt like mad but it was worth it. He said it will take 18months to get back to normal which, with his help and expertise I am grateful. He is a fantastic physio. A genuine, lovely, funny, gentlemen with magic hands. I highly recommend him to help you.
I first went to see Jai in May 2022 to manage a quadriceps muscle tear injury sustained from running. Jai has provided a first class service from initial diagnosis of the injury to a rehab programme that involved progression in strength exercises and gradual increase in aerobic base development. His knowledge and enthusiasm is highly impressive and because he trains to a high level himself, he "gets it" from an athlete's perspective. I am now running injury free and he has totally revolutionised my outlook to training in a way to maximise gains and stay fit and healthy. I would recommend him 100%
I would not recommend. I came in after i had what i believed to be a sprained ankle, and was assured that it was minor - maximum 6-8 i was told. However, this was not the case, and I was misdiagnosed. I spent upwards of 400£ with this physio yet i only left in more pain. I had to go to another specialist who recommended an MRI which revealed I needed to have surgery. They advertise a money back guarantee, yet when i informed Jay that my ankle had not gotten any better this was not offered. Overall i would strongly advise you go to another physio, to prevent you waisting your time and money.
After a football injury I did an MRN and the radiologist gave me this conclusion: "Bone bruising pattern compatibile with an ACL type injury. High grade ACL sprain with an almost full-thickness tear, but no anterior tibial Shift. Sprain of the proximal MCL. Undisplaced tears of the medial and lateral menisci". I couldn't bend my knee and neither keep my leg straight. Running was ouț of discussion. But after 9 hard months and with Jai's help and his working metods now i'm back running. I would totally recommend him to anyone Who whould suffer a similar injury like me.
I had very bad thigh pains in my right leg, so much so that I ended up in A&E for check up. I was discharged same day with possible nerve related issues. My pain persisted for few more days when my wife’s friend suggested Active Physio Works. On my visit to the clinic I met Jai Patel physiotherapist After consultation he gave me some treatment which worked straight away. I just had one further treatment and I was walking without any aids. I would strongly recommend Active Physio Works for his professional approach to my treatment . Naran Hirani
Jai has been my physio now for some years. I continue to return to treatment with him when needed as he is extremely knowledgeable, one of the happiest/positive people I know, and most importantly I have seen measurable improvements (unlike prior physios where I had negative experiences or only had maintenance treatment without any real progress). Jai will take the time to explain the treatment/exercises required and I really feel treatment is based on me as an individual. Thank you
Just completed my physio treatment with Jai and am so happy to be back at work and in the gym doing the things I need and love. Was worried when I had an MRI which showed some disc bulges in my lower back, but Jai reassured me and got to work on me with some massage and stretching type exercise and some moving my back about and then some harder core exercises. Took about 8 weeks in total but money well worth spent. I would highly recommend him!
No words can describe the level of absolute professionalism Jai has shown to my mothers sciatica problem. He not only over a few visits alleviated her issues but continually supported her(together with his wife Dimple) mentally and physically to overcome her issues.I recommend anyone with any neuromuscular back/ leg issues to seek Jai at his highly skilled centre .
I was reccomended to see Jai Patel for my back discomfort. Jai is quick and clear in his responses with clear directions to get to his physio rooms. Jai absolutely knows if profession and he is definately the best phsyio I have been to. Jia''s work on my back very much eased my back. I would highly reccommend Jai for his professional approach and vast knoweldge!
I went to see Jai for ongoing shoulder pain. He was able to identify the issue straight away and put me on a plan which resolved the issue within a few months. Apart from being extremely knowledgeable, I also appreciated that Jai wouldn't ask you come in for any unnecessary sessions. I will definitely use him if I have any future issues
Highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist! Jai’s dedication to my recovery journey was evident in every session. Jai tailored exercises to my needs, tracked progress, and provided valuable guidance. Thanks to his expertise, I'm back to an active and pain-free life. Strongly recommend!"
A friend recommeded Jai as a good physiotherapist after helping her mother with a hand problem. I had muscle pain and back pain and I decided to give it a try. By massage and the exercises recommended by him I feel a lot better and I will recommand him to anyone because it helped me a lot !
I can't thank Jai enough for helping me with my severe pain down my neck. He provided a very professional service in a calming environment. The treatment I received was spot on and helped me gain more movement. Jai definitely has magic hands, thanks again.
I saw Jai a few weeks ago for my neck. The best physio I have seen over the years and the work he did on it helped a lot. I'll definitely be going back to him in the future.
