"Fantastic service"
"Great work and reasonably priced"
Good people. They fixed my amp, got it home and it still had the same problem. They fixed it again and only charged me for the parts with no labour.cost. I must admit it wouldn't have been the easiest fix as it worked most of the time and then sometimes it wouldn't. How ever it seems fine now. Thanks guys
I called today to thank Adept for the work that they completed on a cassette player that had been in my possession for many years. The replacement parts for this 30 year old unit were hard to source and delayed the repair. It was well worth the wait as it is working as well as the day it was manufactured.
I have used Adept Electronic services for many years for many appliances from hifi amps to tv's high powered PA amps and speakers and never had a problem with workmanship and helpful friendly service with very fair prices, Mat is very professional at the job ,very highly recommended . Cheers Mat .
Fantastic service. I spoke with Matt and from start to finish he understood the problem with my audio system, but he fixed it. Then and there. No dramas. No hassles. Can't recommend this place and this guy enough. Will be coming here for anything audio/visual related to be repaired. 5 stars.
Great work and reasonably priced. I was given an estimate of 10 business days to repair my Pioneer SE-305 headphones and invited to call if I had not heard back within the 10 days, they ended up calling me on the 11th day. Would definitely go back again.
My old Japanese Sony receiver/ amp was needing a total make over, these guys fixed it in good time and a reasonable price, wasn’t looking for swish customer service, that comes with the results.. highly recommended, working a treat now! Cheers Matt
I had a Ford radio with tape deck and c/d player that I bought from a wrecker and I took it to get tested by Matthew and it did not work so I took it back to the wrecker and got my money back and bought one from Matthew that had been fitted
The main board died in the 14 year old reversing camera monitor, mounted in our vehicle. Hoping not to have to replace the whole system (car & caravan) we asked Matt to see what was possible. It took a few weeks, but Matt was able to secure
Payed my $56 dollar deposit to repair a car amp in protection, and was told itl be fixed in around 10 days , well that turned into weeks, then months with no phone call from them what so ever, this was the most annoying thing about it all,
These guys are great. Took my dead AVR in a while back to discover there was nothing wrong with it (long story, but it was pilot error) and they set me straight, no charge. Then later the centre channel legitimately failed and they rebuilt
We needed to contact JVC due to the inbuilt DVD player in our new TV not working. JVC advised us that their contractor would contact us to assess the problem. We had a call from Andy from Adept within a very short time. He came out to look
I rang Matt at Adept Electronics to see if he could resolder a tiny clip back on a very fine wire that attaches to the stylus cartridge on my 1964 record player. Being a small but extremely fiddly job i was worried no one would do it. Matt
I took my Marantz CD player to Adept Electronic Services on 28/06/22 to be repaired and paid my $70 inspection fee. A few days later they rang me and told me that the laser assembly was faulty and that it would cost$267 in total to fix. I
I reckon they are good at what they do. Diagnosis and repair of electronic goods. However their customer service is ordinary. Made no attempt to keep me posted on the progress of two repair jobs that I had with them. Had to chase them up.
The service I received was brilliant. Finding somewhere to be able to have expensive Pioneer DJ equipment repaired at a reasonable price is a huge relief. The team at Adept managed to fix the issue I was having that same day so I was able
Honest trustworthy advise. I rang Adept Electronics to get a second option to fix my Samsung 59" Plasma TV. When I gave them the details and symptoms of the fault over the phone they advised me that it was a crack on the inner screen and
For 11 years I ran a karaoke retail outlet in Adelaide and initially when I needed repairs I took them to a business which now no longer exists. I discovered that the proprietor was calling Adept for advice evey time he couldn't find the
Excellent. I used Adept about 10 years ago and should have used them straight away this time but I've moved house and used a closer shop to repair my amp. After 6 weeks of "Yeah it's my next job" I took the amp back and went straight to
The guys at Adept go above and beyond! I went there for my Yamaha receiver HDMI upgrade that was covered by Yamaha. Turned out one of my channels was broken, Matt and the team found out quickly and contacted Yamaha and managed to get it
Adept repaired and serviced a cassette 4 track recorder for me. They went above and beyond. Thorough repair, fast turnaround after the parts arrived, very reasonable price and the unit now functions as good as new. 100% recommended.
I was stuck with a CD Player in an early model Maserati that a previous owner had destroyed by screwing 2 long screws into it's body rendering it useless! After trying almost every expert in Adelaide a dealer suggested I try Adept
These people are miracle workers.. gave them a dead speaker and it comes back better than what i bought.. !!!!take a bow you lot are awesome. . Take your dead electronics here. They are awesome and reasonably priced …
When is a request for a quote a commitment to have something fixed? Asked for a quote only for my daughters car CD player to tell her how much it would cost her to have it fixed. The receptionist was lovely but the technician was
I came to Adept as they were the only people in Adelaide that could help with my issue, the service went above and beyond what I needed and the result left me a happy man, without paying stupid prices. I'll be back for sure!
When you walk into Adept you're greeted with Lisa's warm smile and calming demeanor, not to mention she's an ace when it comes to account keeping. Then there's Matt (out the back) who can fix pretty much ANYTHING technical.
The lady at the counter and on the phone was excellent and very friendly, unfortunately that's where the positive experience stopped. I've never put in a complaint about anything ever before and I did read the
The Adept technician repaired my JBL sub woofer which was faulty and on reconnection performs better than when I purchased it new from Harvey Norman 3 1/2 years ago. This tells me that it was faulty from new.
I had a problem with electronic control board, to replace the (now discontinued board) was going to cost over $1000. Adept lived up to their name and replaced a component on the board for under $50
I really appreciated Matt fixing my TV out of warranty. The on/off switch didn’t work and, on recommendation from a qualified technician took it it Adept Electronics because it needed a new part.
Stay away from them, worst place ever. They quoted me $300 to $400 to fix a subwoofer, then after 4 weeks said it was $850 to fix, the staff are rude and have no interest in customer service.
The staff were most helpful and courteous. Spoke to the technician regarding my 30+ year old amp that had an intermittent problem. The problem was diagnosed and fixed within a week.
The most professional caring repairer I have ever dealt with. Well done Matthew and team. You are simply brilliant, and fixed all my broken items perfectly! Happy me and family.
Went in with a small component, just suggested it might have dry joints, he didn't quote or anything. Less than 10 minutes later $66. Wow, I wonder what his hourly rate is?
BEWARE BEWARE Gave a Yamaha speaker for checking. They took 55$ as deposit. After 2 weeks we called them for status, they said they are waiting for parts. After 1.5 month
Initially I was going to call this place 'Inept Electronics' due to my initial contact with a female I spoke to on the phone as she was very blase' about my issue.
Took my twin tuner hard drive to be repaired had it for a long time until it stopped working. Did take them long to find the problem. So was happy it's going again
Found these guys completely fine to deal with. Took only a little while but called me once the work was done to repair a blown fuse internally of a DLP projector.
Adept team managed to fix my amplifier for a fraction of the cost of a new one. It took a long time but it was a really small component. Thanks Matt and the team
They appear to be able to repair anything electronic at a very reasonable price. I was told by the sleep apnea machine people it would cost $1K to fix my CPAP
Excellent! Fixed up my old HMV spectre 80 and got it running like new! So stoked to have this old girl back in action. Sounds great! The team here do
I'd like to say their pretty good --- but they took 6 months to repair my sub woofer and did'nt use the original part...... you make your mind up.
Tried to ask the guy for a quote on the phone. Sounded like he did not want to talk to me and cut me off then rudely hung up on me.
Great for any household goods/electrical goods that need repairs. We get our hotel tvs repaired here and never had a problem
These people are rude, unfriendly, have no idea about 'customer service'! Tried to charge $88. to do a 10 minute job.
I was recommended Adept Electronics by Jaycar after having a poor experience with another electronics repair shop.
Accidentally 'bricked' my Audiolab amp. Quick turnaround, friendly staff and fair price. Highly recommended.
Repaired my DENON receiver in less than 2 weeks. Covered it under warranty at zero cost. Brilliant.
Do you value what you are going to get repaired? If so DO NOT use the services of Adept!
Genuine, honest staff.. Very helpful
