I highly recommend the Adventure Science Center in Nashville for children of all ages along with their family or teachers. The center was a great experience for our three year old grandson in addition to his parents and grandparents. The center has wide range of well designed interactive science and technology experiences for everyone to enjoy and learn. The center also includes a very unique scientific themed multistory climbing structure that can be entered from multiple floors and has ramps for handicap access to most of the levels We also enjoyed the planetarium star theater that had a very good narrator to make it interesting in addition to educational. It also has a space section that allows the kids to experience the feeling of weightlessness. What a great way for children to fall in love with science that could create the passion for their future careers. There is a Subway restaurant in the center that has gluten free rolls in addition to standard options. There are parking spaces in the front row for families with strollers. I believe the prices were: adults $15.95 & kids $11.95 that we definitely felt was well worth the price. The star theatre was an additional fee, but again well worth the price. They also have senior citizen discounts. Great for a rainy day or any day, don’t miss it!

Tons of exhibits that make learning science fun. My kids enjoyed interacting with the exhibits while learning. They were in heaven. However I have 2 major issues. 1.) Crowds!!! It was crowded with tons of kids and class trips and there seems to be no capacity limit. My family came at opening 9am and left at 12pm and had a great time. But the reviews are correct. I can see why ppl are upset about paying full price and not able to experience the exhibits. There’s no presence or oversight by staff and kids are getting hurt. I seen 4 kids go down a slide repeatedly together and eventually 2 came out with busted lips and another had a bloody nose. This likely a staffing shortage problem as hours are only 9-3 and close some days. Either way if you not done by 11am be prepare for crowds and mayhem. There needs to be a crowd limit. 2.) Some exhibits were close. Moon walk and lifting the car was closed off. Overall great science center with tons of impressive exhibits.

Took my 3 year old son today 07/16/23 and it was terrible. The exhibits was few and spaced out ALOT. There were kids running around with no adult supervision and was cutting off other kids not allowing them to play. Then there was the teenagers that was running around not allowing little kids to look either. The main attraction was the adventure tower but my 3 year old couldn't have played if he tried. Kids was pushing and running and even CUSSING. We decided to take a second to eat at Subway inside and it was FILTHY. Food was all on the floor. Trash all over the tables. The workers was cussing and talking about quitting and applying elsewhere. After an hour of walking and trying to let my son interact with the exhibits we just left. Definitely not worth what we paid. $62 for 2 adults and a 3 year old. Overall terrible experience and expected better. The 2 stars are only bc my son had a blast in the solar system exhibit bc no one was in there.

We had limited knowledge of Adventure Science Center coming. Parking is free! This is super helpful for entire families not needing to walk a mile or pay an arm and leg to visit. We were greeted by a fantastic worker who explained the entire Center. We arrived at 12:30pm and left at 5pm. The kids wanted to spend even more time there. I believe they have 4 floors of exhibits plus a really fun jungle gym for kids. The top floor play area leads to a skydeck for kids to view Nashville. The planetarium show was incredible! Our kids enjoyed that fun surprise as well. They have a Subway(restaurant) on the 2nd floor for food. They have outdoor seating as well as weather permits. While we were they they had a super fun train exhibit. The exhibit had push buttons to control trains and people on the display. Our kids absolutely loved this! Also they had hand sanitizer everywhere, with restrooms all around. overall a great family friends atmosphere!

Waste of time & Money! We’re currently on a Rod Trip to NaperVille from Florida, we decided to visit Science center in Nashville TN. I’m so disappointed with this place being called a Sceince Center, It’s a Science Mess instead. My daughter is 4— She is exposed to Science to a certain extent, however, most of the sections/rooms/Games are for older kids. In order to play or use the area at its best, they must understand the Know-how & 4 I beleive is too young to understand what’s going on in there. My daughter & I didn’t find anything amusing in there except for the planetarium. I’d say- refrain from this Science Mess unless ofcourse your purpose for visiting is make your child(6+) aware about Science, Astronomy, so they may atleast comprehend what they’re seeing. Contrarily, Do Not waste your precious time & money here, rather take ‘em to an outdoor play area, they’re way better in every sense, mostly free of cost! Not so absurdly crowded like this one. Kids were literally crashing into each other especially in the play areas. The Cafeteria was full to the Brim.

Before and maybe during the early time of Covid this was probably nice. There are several exhibits that are worn out or in disrepair or plain gone. There are also several things that cost extra like the planetarium, space simulator, and a couple other things, these are like $9 per person per activity. If you wanted to do everything it could easily cost $50 per person. The only place you are allowed to have food or drinks is the built in Subway/frozen yogurt place which ran out of ice when we went in to get drinks. It was over $7 for three small drinks and it was 2 p.m. when we were in there and it was filthy. The exhibits would have been awesome if kept up, the space and solar exhibits were very cool, showing how energy works and what happens when water is obstructed, I mean great ways to show kids, just needs updating and refreshing , and a price adjustment if not.

This was a really fun place. The kids loved it and it was very interactive. The staff were friendly and pricing was reasonable. It’s nice they have a Subway inside for meals and drinks. The planetarium was nice. It wasn’t an amazing experience but it was good. Parking was good and it was nice that it was free. The facility was very clean with sanitizing stations throughout the facility. I wish they had more seating for parents on the three levels. It would have been a nice break while the kids played. One recommendation for the leadership is to fix up some of the activities. There were some broken stations. Also the water area is dangerous. There was lack of floor grip and my daughter hit the ground hard while walking. Overall, I would come back to this place again.

This place is packed with so much information! It is a lot of fun with all the interactive activities. A wide variety of sciences from anatomy and health care to the planetarium of our planets and stars. My favorite part was the climbing walls, available for ALL ages! My partner and I don't have kids, but we had fun learning new things. If you have kids, I think this would be fun for a family outing. The bee exhibit could have had more information or bigger. Noticed a few things not working, but may have been a recent break? (Buttons in sound section and one of the fingers on the hand model where you try to grab the ball, aging machine- chair won't go up or down, and the screen did not follow the command) The gift shop is small and there isn't much walking space.

If you have a membership to the Discovery Park of America, or some of the other science centers in the area, admission here is free. We took our kids (age 1 1 and 7), and we all had so much fun. We spent about 4 hours here and never ran out of fun things to see and do. The staff was very friendly and most everything was kept clean and in working order. There is a subway restaurant on the second floor so you don't have to leave for lunch. I would suggest attending one of the live science shows! Very entertaining and educational, and free! You can also purchase tickets for a show in the planetarium, or for the climbing area or virtual roller-coaster. Our kids were a bit too young for that part. The prices in the gift shop are very reasonable as well if you're looking for a souvenir.

This fantastic museum, a great interactive science experience that is perfect for bringing your kids but is absolutely still fun for adults as well. We miss-read and thought they closed at 4pm so upon showing up at about 2:25pm, they were still nice enough to let us in and do a quick exploration which was still a decent amount of time to quickly see everything but I'm sure with a bit more time you could properly see everything and interact with all of the exhibits in there. There's a whole section of interactive exhibits that teaches about the human body and a large indoor playground. Additionally, every day at 3pm on the dot they create a small explosion in the front of the building using liquid nitrogen and water!

This is a great place to plan a day out. I have a 3 and 5 year old and they were entertained for the full 7 hours we stayed. The only reason we did not stay longer was my feet were dying after doing the zoo the day before. A couple of exhibits were closed and some of the sound room wasn't turned on when we arrived at opening but I can easily still give 5 stars. Any place that can entertain kids for this long is a wonder. Heads up! Kids can get lost by going on the play area center- they can travel up and down floors surrounded by exhibits. I was by myself with two younger cats... I mean kids... so this was a challenge. Luckily the one time my daughter went the wrong way a staff member herded her.

I had a good time with my family (me, my wife and 4 kids). Although this seems geared more toward elementary aged kids, my teens had fun as well. I wouldn't plan for a full day there, but a half day would be enjoyable. The center was clean and not too crowded (we went on a Sunday afternoon). Some of the attractions had things missing or not working which is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It wasn't bad enough for me to not return, however. The cost for us was $75.75 which included 4 adult tickets (ages 13+) and 1 child. I got in free because I am a teacher! There are other discounts available on tickets as well, just check the website. Parking was free. There is also a gift shop and a place to order food but I didn't visit either of these so I don't know what their prices were like.

  • Emily Berlin

Pros: huge space, cool playground in the center that is over 3 stories tall, the rock climbing is free and a blast (reserve your climbing time as soon as you get there as the whole day books up early), the live science demonstration was great! Cons: the play area for small children didn't have much for them to do. It was extremely loud inside even on a week day. For the size space there wasn't as much for the kids to do at I had expected. A lot of the space was dedicated to informative exhibits but they weren't open ended so the kids moved through them quickly. There were a lot of screens throughout the museum including a huge tv in the subway that was playing a trashy kids cartoon. Overall we did enjoy our time there! Worth a visit but I don't think I'd go regularly.

  • David Burkes

Love this place! 2nd time we have been here as out of towner. We get a discount because we have a membership to COSI - a science center in Columbus. There is a really cool room in this place where they use technology to feel like you are being transported in space (can't remember the name of it). We love the hands on nature of this place. Of course, you have to climb up to the top and see out of the top of the building and get a view of the city of Nashville. They have one section where they change up the room. Right now it is a climbing room that is really cool. We really liked this one part in the music section where you feel like you are playing in a band. Definitely recommend if you have kids and you are traveling to Nashville!

  • Leah Baker

Amazing! I have a 6 year old and a 19 month old. They love it. Also, if you are from a city who has a children's science center that you are a member of (like we are a member of The Muse Knoxville) you can have a discount if not a free admission! The staff is very nice! They offer picnic tables out front and a subway inside which is very kind about letting you bring your own food and use their tables (this comes in handy on rainy days.) I did come into a situation where they had "reserved" signs on the tables, but they came to me without me asking and said "sit down it's not a problem. :) They have many schools that visit so this may be different when you visit. Overall a great place for children and youth alike.

  • Junell Shue

Worth the drive! We drive up from Huntsville and easily spent 5 hours here exploring and playing. This place will entertain and teach kids of all ages.... While their favorite moment was definitely the tall play area that had a beautiful birds eye view of the city, they loved all the hands on interactive science portions as well. We were thankful for the Subway restaurant inside the museum for a nice lunch break, and for sensory overwhelm we found the planetarium/solar side of the museum to be more quiet and restful in comparison to the loud body system wing and all the play areas.

Always LOVE a trip to the science center. So many fun opportunity for kids (and adults really) to experience and engage with science. Topics to explore include Solar system/astronomy, weather, body systems, earth, sound and so many others!!! We even got to make little creatures out of recycled materials. There is an extra “zero-gravity” simulation activity that costs in addition to entry (I believe it was around $10 per rider) but the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Most of the Science Center has looked the same since I was a kid but the exhibits still manage to captivate their you audience and I love the conversations that come from what they learn! Only complaint/critique is cleanliness and smell…

  • Melinda H

We absolutely LOVED this Science Center! If we lived in Nashville we'd be members. The level of detail and information is phenomenal. We enjoyed the body exhibits. We spent the bulk of our time on that level. I loved the quizzes, the circulatory system, and the digestive system. The space walk was a HIT! The planetarium was superb and the moderator was very knowledgeable. You can tell, she enjoys her job! Plenty activities for all ages! We spent about 4hrs here. And we could have easily done, 4 more! There's plenty space, classrooms, and an on-site Subway restaurant. The gift shop was small, but filled with many items and reasonably price! This center was worth the stop on our way to Memphis!

  • Rob Keisling

Pleasantly surprised. Very nice mid-sized science center. Train exhibit has a few whimsical dinosaur figurines. Very good music and space exhibits. The majority of interactives are working. Decent health & body area with several hands on activities. Physics is through several car play components. Not as much in the plants and animals as the previous mentioned categories. No temporary exhibits, they seem to focus on a core of good offerings that they can maintain. Some use of screens, but not to the extent it replaced imagination and tactile learning. Large play climbing structure in the center. Subway on the second floor for the truly hungry. Plan to stay 2.5 -3 hours.

  • Megan Guzman

Great place for kids! They have plenty of parking available. If you live or frequent Nashville, I highly suggest purchasing a membership which are a reasonable price. I bring my toddler here about twice a month, and she always loves it. My only critique is that some of the exhibits are worn down (especially the human body exhibit). They host different events every now and then which is nice. The staff is very friendly, and the bathrooms are clean. Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to entertain the kids!

I think this is a great place to take your children maybe from ages 2-10. It’s a great place for them to learn about space, the human body, earth phenomenons, and recycling. I went once with my daughter on a field trip and another time with family. I will say maybe wait till later in the day once field trips are gone because otherwise you will be fighting to look at things with hundred of children. It is a bit pricey for maybe a 2-3 hour activity but if you haven’t done it before it’s still very fun.

Checked out adventure science center today. Great place for young kids. Maybe for teens, but not mine. They were kind of bored. The sensory room is really well done though. I felt like I benefitted from it. Very calming for any one that has used one before. The price was a bit high for my liking but it was good to try it out at least once. We spent about an hour there. I probably won't go back though if I am being honest. Nothing against the place but we had seen most of it pretty quickly.

We were so excited to take our 2 year old granddaughter on our recent trip to Nashville, and we were not disappointed! She was very excited and eager to learn about all of the exhibits. She was able to touch, see, and hear different things throughout the center . She always takes her best friend, Curious George on her adventures with her, so we had to take his picture as well! The Adventure Science Center offers a variety of exhibits for different age groups, which is fantastic. The atmosphere was very nice, the center was very clean and the employees we're very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

  • T D

Not for kids over 10 or 11. In health section, there was a number of in service or inoperative exhibits, which left big crowd wait to take turns on what was working. Very small , more like a play land for younger kids, which I thought there were too many older kids making almost impossible for 6 or 9 years to play. The planetarium part was ok. The infinity room had no crowd control, and one-way in and out. The infinity room is video floor which is hard to see of the room is full of people.

We had such a great time visiting the science center. I went with my two boys (7 and 2), and they played almost the whole time they were open from 9a to 3p. There was so much to do and explore here. From music, to space, how the body works, rock climbing, and so much more. I highly recommend checking this place out with your kids. As a warning, rock climbing is for ages 4 and up with the 4-7 year olds having earlier time slots than the 8 and ups.

Fun experience! This is a very comprehensive science center with lessons on many science themes. I appreciate that there are experiences for children of all ages, including us grown-up children! Note: Tickets to the planetarium are separate and must be purchased in addition to entry. There are limited and set times for planetarium shows, so look for show times in advance. They sell out more quickly on holidays and weekends. Enjoy!

A good way to kill time when you have kids! Although there were many activities, a good amount were not functioning properly. Definitely outdated and could use a deep cleaning. There should also be a staff member near the playground monitoring the kids (and even the adults). My son couldn’t go down the slides because a group of kids and their parents kept climbing up the slides for a good while. From a parents perspective, the place could make some changes for a better experience. From a kids perspective, it was fun! We were still able to spend 3 hours there.

  • Katherine Winczewski

Unfortunately it was a very difficult experience. I've never seen so many children running freely with no supervision. Constant children yelling and screaming with parents/teachers just standing there on their phones. This is not the same place it was years ago. Just lots of buttons, noise, and flashing lights, with a side of hand foot and mouth. Would compare this to a 3 story chuckee cheese. Sad, but we won't be returning.

Highly disappointed. Several of the exhibits were broken and several things closed. Many things were very dirty and missing parts. We counted a total of EIGHT things that were just not in working order. The inifinium was a joke. Just lights in the floor. And Planetarium, and flight simulator cost extra but require and appointment. Three half full frozen yogurts were over $30. We will never be back. What a disappointment.

Very cool place to take kids! Our toddler had a blast. He enjoyed all of the science center but it was nice to be able to take him into the enclosed kids space and let him run around without being worried he would run off. Bathrooms were also well maintained and they have a mothers room which was really convenient when our toddler had a meltdown. I was able to take him in there and rock him while the sound machine that is provided in the room helped to calm him down. 10/10 would recommend!

Great place for kids, they always have lots of fun. After visiting a science center in another city, I wish they would do things differently. They have a lot of computer based and non-interactive exhibits. I'd like to see more simple interactive stations (magnets, simple mechanisms, lights, etc.). The massive 3 (4?) story playground is fun but takes away from some cool exhibits they could add. They're always selling tickets to things and asking for more money, yet a lot of the demonstrations and activities are led by unpaid volunteers.

  • Talia Strong

Such a fun day for the kids! I wish we had planned more time to be there. It was very convenient that there was a Subway restaurant inside too. And at the end of the day, they invited everyone outside for an experiment demonstration which was such a fun surprise. I took my 8 month old, 2 year old and 4 year old and they all had a blast. Lots of places for my baby to crawl around. Make sure to check out the bees, that was really cool to see!

We spent the day here since schools were closed for a third day in a row. It was amazing! My 6 year old loves it and learned so much. She asked if she could have her birthday party here. Great place for the entire family. As an adult I even enjoyed it. Friendly staff, clean and overall a good time. It took us about 3 hours to do the entire thing but we definitely could have spent more time here.

This was the coolest science center we have ever been to. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t spend more time there! We could have spent the entire day on the first floor alone. The infinium room was magical and I hope they add more shows to it. We didn’t even get to see the planetarium while we were there and it was still the most epic adventure! I can’t imagine anyone rating this less than 5 stars! We will definitely be back!

Awesome place for kids of all ages. Plenty of things to learn about while still playing and having fun the whole time. The baby area is awesome because it's enclosed and has a wide variety of things they can play with. The top floor play area is also enclosed and nice for older kids to climb, slide, and get a great view all around outside. There are alot of activities and games throughout the whole building that parents can do together with their young kids, making it a great place for family fun and learning.

We attended the Harry Potter Themed Way Late Play Date event at ASC. It was a fun event and there were plenty of things to do. Way Late Play Date events are Adult only events held after hours with different food trucks providing food and beverages. We had a great time making our own wands, getting sorted into our houses, etc. It was a very fun event. One of the food trucks this night was a great truck called Tatercakes. I got the traditional and it was so tasty! It was the perfect end to a fun event!

  • Nae Perry

LOVED it! It was my sons birthday, he was treated like the most special kid. No lines, no crowds, no screaming kids. (thanks to Covid) The play place is closed which was fine because less germs and more learning for us. The guy at the main door refunded a ticket for me of a no show AND I had originally purchased the wrong day and it took him less than 2 min. to fix the problem. I highly recommend the show on Gravity with the robot. I as an adult even enjoyed it. It was a great visual on space time.

  • Nick Michael

My wife, 3 kids, and I were very disappointed with our experience. It seems about half of the experiences were either broken or missing major parts. The germ multiplayer game for instance is intended for 12 people.. but 3 stations were totally busted. This is reoccurring theme throughout and it was really annoying. The stuff that actually worked was fun informative. Average I would say 3 hours would cover the 2 floors. We didn't do the planetarium so don't know the time it would add for that.

  • Kyle Thomas

This place is a blast and has so much for kids to do and learn. The coolest thing for me has been when my 7 year old has made connections at home and started figuring out how things work based on what he saw and did while there. If you're going to pay for a membership at a place to take your kids, I promise they'll have fun and learn something in the process here.

Our kids (ages 9-12) loved spending the morning at this science museum. All exhibits were interactive, fun, and informative. The museum was clean and staff were friendly. Our kids especially liked the numerous climbing structures. I would find most exhibits overwhelming and difficult to monitor kids under 5. This museum was free with ASTC reciprocity if you have membership to another science museum.

It was a great deal of fun for my 12 year old grandson and in turn, for me. I would say though that had he been 5or 6 years old, he would have had a blast. I wish they had more to offer older kids. My grandson is one to make fun out of what’s at hand so, I’m glad for that. I personally would say that this is a place to take children from about 3 to no more than 10 and I believe that’s pushing it. If I ever have anymore grandchildren, I will definitely take them between those ages.

  • Jenn Jenn

This is a large building with technically three levels even though there's not much on the 3rd. It is geared for smaller children. My nephew chose this place, but he is 12. He loved the climbing part but the rest was kind of snooze worthy for him. Note: must be 8 years old to climb and wear closed toe shoes. He was wearing slides, so he changed into my shoes.

Outstanding place! Buy tickets in advance. Head it early. My advice is to start from the last floor (3rd). Free parking lot. Tou can re-enter the same day. There are additional attractions such as IMAX, climbing walls, and 4D experience, which may be additional cost on top entrance tickets, and some of them are for 8+ year old. Great place to visit with the grandchildren. I recommend the day to see almost all exhibits. Then return and examine a couple of sections I. Depth so the children can learn the full extent of the wealth of information and knowledge. We found it is not just for children but we learned a lot of new things we never understood. Great for homeschoolers.

Kids love this place. It is great when foot traffic is light. We visited once when the public schools were on a field trip. It was packed and overwhelming for my kids. However, they do have a sensory for kids to go to when they get overloaded. Which I think is a wonderfully inclusive initiative on their part. We got in free while on vacation with our ASTC travel membership.

The best part of this science center is the multi story playground boasting amazing views. My son's favorite part was the slide, which is easily the biggest slide I've ever seen! There is also a modest toddler area, a small outerspace section, and a fun interactive human body section among a few other small attractions. There is a Subway that overlooks the city in the building if you get hungry while exploring. This is definitely a fun place to bring kids of any age.

It's a pretty good place with lots of places for a kit to explore. We have a three year old son and he loved the space exploration area, and the big multi-level play areas in the center. It's awesome see downtown Nashville from up high. After about two visits though, you will have seen everything there is to see. We've also been to the Discovery Centrum in Chattanooga, which has more options than this one. Still, it's a pretty good place for a small boy to explore.

This place was in my top experiences in Nashville TN! I was so lucky enough to be down there when they had a planetarium laser light show special, Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon album. I loved the solar system room as well as the human body room. This is a great place for kids to learn. Check out their schedule online. Enjoy everyone!

It is a great science and educational place for kids and adults. It offers a variety of knowledge in different areas. The hands-on labs and rock climbing activities are very impressive. The tickets are not cheap ($22 adult and $18 teens). However, since it belongs to ASTC passport program, you can get in for free via that program.

Half of the stuff didn't work upstairs. The show we paid to see (a night sky thing) was mundane at best. The best part of the entire thing is the space section but there's zero activities to do in there to actually make kids want to be involved. Won't be returning because it's not worth the cost when half of the stuff doesn't even work.

Fun place for kids hanging out. About $20 to get in, free for ASTC. $10 for the hemisphere dome theater show. Be aware that if you had moving sickness, maybe you should avoid it. While the screen spinning, it makes me nausea. There is a similar show at Chicago museum Adler Planetarium. I forgot I was nausea over there last time.

We’ve spent all summer traveling and going to science centers in many cities; this is hands down the best one we have been too! There is so much to do! The hands on exhibits are a treat for the parents and kids alike. We went here twice during our stay in Nashville. Shout out to the amazing crew in the Tinker Studio!

I've been taking my kids here for over 15 years. However due to the age gap in kids we haven't been in over 7 years. Not much has changed. Little updates and lots of things that are broken, missing pieces, or just don't work. My 6 yr old didn't seem to mind only because she doesn't know how great this place used to be.

Place was fantastic! Had a tremendous amount to do and see within the 3 levels! We went as a family, grandfather, father and son... there was excitement for all ages. We became members and look forward to returning and experiencing what we could not on the first visit. The team that works there was kind and had impressive service. The place was clean and a great environment for kids!! It is worth the visit! Enjoy, Cheers!

What a great place for learning! We homeschool, so our kids got an added benefit of learning about electricity, magnetism, and other principles of physics. Make sure you block off about 3-4 hours minimum to cover all 3 floors. Maybe even more to give the kids time to play in the indoor parks.

Decent place to visit for a day. Informative and worth visiting with kids. There is subway restaurant inside to grab your food quick during the visit. Parking space outside and at a walkable distance to the entrance. Lots of exhibits and especially for music lovers.

ADVENTURE is definitely what the Science Center is about! This place is AWESOME! Kid or adult, you will have fun AND learn. We went on a Saturday, arrived around 1pm, and didn't leave until around 5:30. You will not be disappointed. They have a play area that is huge and has lots of things to do. Make sure you go to the 3rd floor!!

It is a great place for children with tons of interesting exhibits for kids of all ages. I did see that many exhibits were closed or out of service and the museum was a bit messy. I don't think adults should be charged full price since there is nothing to do for older people and their only purpose is to keep the kids company. It isn't a "must see", but definitely a fun activity.

  • Yuri Cheremetiev

Super fun place to go as an adult and as a child. Lots of fun activities to get into where you can go there all day and have something to do. The rock climbing was pretty fun and a great workout. Highly recommend going to the space exploratory section.

Went on a Sunday afternoon - no wait to enter and not too crowded. Great exhibits and areas for kids to play on while learning. Perfect for ages 5 - 12. 4-stars because a couple exhibits were not working and there was a minor security issue.

Fun place, the best part: science experument class! Too busy when we visited, we had to park the car on grass on the side of the road. They were closed on Tu & Wed of spring break...then Thursday the whole town was there + the tourists like us.

Awesome and educational place for both kids and adults. Admission is extremely reasonable for all the activities included. You can't go wrong with taking your kids at all. My 11 year old son whom has autism and sensory to loud noises had a blast. He never complained about anything at all!!! We had an exceptional time there on his school field trip.

Very cool science center. We didn't watch the planetarium show, but the exhibits were very interesting. There is a place for kids under 5 which was great for parents to relax in while their young kiddos roamed around.

My daughter (19, autistic) and her friend (17) went & while they enjoyed it, they said it's definitely more geared toward younger kids. The noise levels can get very loud because of the acoustics. Not recommended for a child with noise sensitivity.

Super fun adventures to be had here! Very hands on and interactive, good for most all age groups -and educational! I went for the first time as an adult on a date and we had fun! Bathrooms are well placed throughout the building. Parents can participate in the fun as much as they'd like but there's ample their kids can do independently.

Way too loud and crowded, the rock walls were all closed and many of the fun things were all “booked” even though no one was on the space ship replicator. All my kids had an okay time, did not think it was worth the price. Try and go on a not busy day or time! The food area was disgusting and looked like it was never cleaned.

  • Michelle Birdsell

We were on vacation in Nashville and this place was recommended by the front desk and I am so happy they recommended it. Our family had a blast and it was a good way to kill a few hours letting the kids run around and have fun. It is really something geared for all ages. We have a 16, 7 and 1 yo and they all had so much fun.

There is lots to do for all ages. Lots of information for all learning levels. Can be overwhelming if you feel you have to take it all in on 1 day. Relax and have fun with whatever age you are with.

A great place for kids and adults alike. My daughter, grandmother, and I all had a great time and learned some things we didn't know before. Plus going up in the dome and looking through the binoculars was pretty awesome to. We'll definitely go back again a lot sooner since I hadn't been since i was a kid. Good family fun.

  • Matt Justaddwata

Truly an amazing place. Have been to similar in many cities and this one hits the fun and variety out of the park. Had some serious kid envy as theres so many cool things. Well maintained, clean, fun, and just so much to see and do. Highly recommended. I am considering returning tomorrow to see what we ran out of time for.

  • Lily Jordan

My 4 year old loves to fully geek out here. Only downside is that they ban outside snacks so if your kid doesn't eat subway then you have to keep your visits super short. Would love to see them add an eating area where you can bring your own snacks at least for members.

Had a great time with the whole family. There were lots of hands-on activities for all ages. We had a 20yo, 16yo and 6yo with us and they all found fun things to experience. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Also, so glad they are part of the Museums for All program which enabled us to visit

  • Jonathan Francis

We had fun as a family. There is something for kids of most ages (ages 2 to 129). If your child can walk, there is something available for learning and entertainment. My son really enjoyed the climbing area. We will go back in the future and cover some things we didn't have time to do.

It was okay. I had a 3 and 1 year old. It was a good way to kill time, but the play areas were sad. Lots of things marked off, and the toddler area was very cheap. Maybe when the kids are older, it will be more fun for them, but I don't think it was worth $60 for 3 tickets.

Enjoyed it immensely. Great for kids, but I shouldn't try playing around with the exhibits on a busy Saturday morning with a bunch of kids pushing and shoving to press buttons. Extended hours or adult night would be more of my ideal environment.

It was ok. Not as many attractions as you would expect, mostly NASA themed. Parking is free onsite and it's easy to find the place on top of the hill. The planetarium is a must to learn about the sky and stars.
