I thought Air France were about the worst airline for losing and damaging bags; That's until I suffered the Aer Lingus experience. Check-staff woefully slow and move with all the enthusiasm and energy of a Three-toed Sloth (Google it). Needless to say, bags didn't make it onto the plane and lost for a fortnight. No response from Aer Lingus (as anticipated) - had to don a Deerstalker to find my bags in 2 different random locations in the UK. Maybe they changed their name to Air Bowen.

Aer Lingus is a horrible company. They lost my bag 2 days ago going from Dublin to Edinburgh. There is zero way to talk to anyone about your lost bag except for Swissport, who are also a terrible company. Do not fly Aer Lingus! But if you do, do not check a bag if you value your time and stress level

Been calling them 5-6 times on hold for 20mins never get a chance to talk with the agents. Wasted my money with a airlines that has bad service. No AER LINGUS office or booth at the airport staff kept telling to call only. Never again with AER LINGUS
