I used the services provided by Affordable Moves & Transport Ltd twice over this Autumn (Sep 2019), first, to move household stuff from London to Hove, Brighton, and second, my office stuff from central London to Falmer, Brighton. I must thank the company and, especially Siva and his colleague, who done the job very professionally and carefully. My main comments and observations are that Siva is a very friendly person, and also very efficient and accommodating. I drove with Siva from central London to Falmer, Brighton in one evening and he drove very nicely and I enjoyed the company too. I would certainly use their services in the future, if required. Absolutely Amazing Service. One of the smoothest part of my moving home process. After watching the boys be so organized, efficient and focused my only conclusion was if only everyone was that good at their job. Robert was great at booking and assuring that I don't need to worry that his boys ( Baski, Nibson & san) will take care of it all and they sure did. The price was also very competitive. I cannot recommend this company and their services high enough. I genuinely just sat back and relaxed while the Guys took all the stress away from me and there professionalism was inspiring and so appreciated. I am still talking about them to my friends who are not even moving and If I was ever to move again I would go straight back to this company.

Used affordable moves for a quite demanding move from Chislehurst to West Hampstead, with a stop near Camden Road station to pick up additional things. The two men helping out (Nathan and Peter) were excellent in their job. There were some heavy boxes but didn't complain when they had to carry them up 2.5 floors on stairs! They also drove throughout London for 1.5 hrs without complaining, being very careful in their driving. And at the end the assembled the bed successfully, having to turn it around once after the initial assembling! Thank you very much for the help! Will definitely use the service again

I normally only write reviews when I want to complain. However these guys were so good I've had to make an exception to the rule. I recently moved house from London to Chester. They (Baski, Gerad and Augustine) came on a Sunday on time and were professional, friendly and diligent with the packing and loading of our items. Nothing was an issue or too much trouble for them. My brother met them in Chester and told me how good he thought they were. They gave a much cheaper quote than their competitors but despite that the service was outstanding. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Affordable moves and transport helped move my entire house into a storage. They were accurate at assessing the size of storage, prompt, reliable and friendly. Throughout the job I could see their expertise and professionalism. I was most amazed by how well they protected my good furnitures and how well they organised it all in the storage carefully without wasting any space. Amazing! Jay and Dixon were superstars. Turned up in uniform in an immaculate, shiny truck, and loaded our boxes and furniture with care and attention - including navigating awkward furniture through some very tricky corridors! At the other end they were equally considerate unloading and making sure everything was exactly where it should be. They were careful and attentive, and despite all the hard work they did, cheerful and chatty and lovely throughout! Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Very glad I chose Affordable Moves to carry out my house move. Siva and his colleagues were excellent, professional and moved my items with great care. They turned up on time, had to dismantle a wardrobe and re-assemble it, also returned later to collect a sofa that could only be moved after an emergency plumber attended to remove a radiator from a stairway landing. My items are neatly packed in a storage unit and I will definitely call them again when they need to be moved to a shipping container.

Affordable Moves provided a great service for a stress free move. They were the only company to actually attend in advance to provide a proper assessment (whereas other companies asked for videos) and the van size was larger than average - we'd have been in trouble on the day if the other quoting companies had arrived with their smaller 3.5t Lutons! It was a tough job with lots of stairs - but the guys never complained and were punctual, friendly and professional throughout. Recommended.

I would highly recommend your company, in fact I already have. This was the best move I have experienced. I did a lot of packing myself before hand which I thought was great but when the guys arrived there where fragile pieces which they recommended I had extra wrapping to secure them. Amazing!! Affordable Moves were incredibly reliable, punctual, friendly, flexible and helpful with my recent move. They were very careful when handling my furniture and belongings, including dismantling and re-assembling my bed frame and L-shaped sofa. They also didn't mind driving me to collect the keys from the Estate Agent before driving to my new property. We have used Robert and his team 5 times to move in London and out of London - the guys give a first class removal service every time. Nothing is a problem, they get on with the job quickly and efficiently and always take great care when moving our belongings both in the house and when packing their van, using blankets and ropes when needed. I cannot recommend this company enough - they were super helpful, efficient, professional, quick packing up on the day, careful with our fragile boxes and very polite. They couldn't do enough to help on the day - this included packing up the van, loading a lot of heavy flat pack furniture, unpacking it all and building all of it from scratch. They offered me a very reasonable rate compared to other movers and on the day, they were punctual, courteous and super-efficient. They packed and moved everything with great care. The team arrived on time. The items to be moved were many boxes of books, on the ground and first floors. Jay and Dickson soon began their (heavy) task with cheerfulness and efficiency, and were moreover very polite and considerate. Can't fault their work ethic. They were able to pack us up in London and unpack us 550 miles away in Aberdeen in the space of 48 hours! There was some slight damage to a large print but for the volume of stuff moved, one small scratch on a picture is not the end of the world. Would, and have, recommended to others.
