It is very good that computerization is done for transactions of Post Office. However, I am compelled to bring to your notice that a lot of time of public/customers is wasted in getting transaction done through the computerized system. I had visited Khokhara post office for remittance of Postal Insurance Premium my wife. On 28th January I had been to the post for this purpose and could not get it done and because of long queue and the person handling seems inadequate knowledge of the system, taking too much time for each transaction and giving the reason that the server is slow. Again I went to Post office on 13th Feb. for opening/purchasing NSC and PPF and understand from the Post Master that because of computerization, NSC and PPF opening is not possible. For payment of Postal Insurance Premium, I was waiting in the queue of around 10-12 persons, from 10a.m. and when my term came at 12.10p.m. the person told that as printer is not working, the transaction is not possible. I have wasted my more than 3 hrs. I made a request to Post Master to place a Board indicating which transactions are possible and which businesses/transaction are on hold so that the public would not waste their time. To this, postmaster told me to make your complaint with the GPO. If this is the kind of response to public, very soon people will stop availing the service of Post Office. Very disappointing from India Post. Parcel shows item bagged on 24/07/2019 but not yet received . All are thieves. even Though Speed post my brother has not recevied the parcel for raksha bandan. India Post are cheaters they stole the things from parcel. And no response of email and calls. Better is that we send our important items through other service. Please don't send your important items from India Post. I would only give Ratings but i have to select a star.

India post has launched pin code number so gujarat 35 to 39 pincode in gujarat villages are or non village area. First two digits are around the area. North gujart First two digits are 38. Pathetic service.... staff are so ill mannered, not at all willing to help customers.. speed post k name pe 3 din se destination area pe hi ghum raha hai mera parcel... they are creepies and just want money, nothing else... not even willing to rcv phone calls.... dont know anything, for every que their ans is dont know...

Terrible service… most of the time I don’t get a good speed and now it’s been four days my Internet is not working despite complaining many times.. there is no representative to talk to, they have put it on automated response which says that ‘sorry for inconvenience’… I’m sure I am not subscribing it again.

Bad experience here. I asked about my outstation NSC for withdrawal, but staff over there asked me to go to nearest past office of my residence. I think no reason any post office should ask for any work.

The staff is cooperate and always try to resolve any query at earliest. Sometimes the queue are large but patiently waiting can help get work done quickly. Overall good experience.
