Dr Akel himself is a good dentist. He is my dentist since 2021 but it seems he changed his staff and the current staff are absolutely unprofessional and so rude I had hard time scheduling my appointment and getting my insurance information as well as my insurance benefits accurate I never had this issue in my previous visits they said something that makes no sense at all since I still have the same insurance and I didn’t pay what they told me what I am supposed to pay to get the same exact service and after calling the insurance company and confirming what I know is right forwarded them an email from the insurance company with that information they called me not solve the issue but they even tried to argue more not going there again I know sometimes misunderstanding happens but no they were so rude and not even trying to be nice or to be considerate

I just had my visit with them right before Christmas and the staff there was very friendly and took their time. I was very impressed with their patience and taking their time to explain each step-by-step while making sure I was comfortable in the process. Also something that stood out is their bilingual staff who are a pleasure to be around. I will be sure to do my follow ups with Akel Dental of Tampa every 6 months and future appointments because they treated me like family - as if I knew them all my life. Thank you for your professionalism and great service which is rare to come by.

This was my son first visit his appointment was 1pm and before I could get to the last page they we're calling his name. We got here about 12:05 and his name was called around 12:20. Very clean office and bathroom was very clean as well made his next appointment with no problem. Will my son be returning oh yes he will. Informed me of the braces and the information about them and even gave him a electronic toothbrush that runs very expensive in store for free. Thank you to the front desk crew and the denist who got my son together before school.

Going to this dental office in Springhill FL was a terrible experience. The dental assistant Louis or whomever he was was rude and argued with me about the dental care. They seemed lost and confused. Their service and patient interaction was really bad. I have seen better service at a fast food restaurant. They answered no questions and all they did was push thru the appointment. The whole appointment/cleaning/ exam was 10ish minutes or less.

Hey check out Dr Akel dentist Really great. He has patients with his clients as well as with his Staff. He does Great work and does Bridge work too. I had BOTH upper and lower DONE. Also a Crown. The place is Clean. This Dentist is amazing Highly recommend him. He has an Office in Tampa and Springhill FL. His Staff is also Spanish or speaks bilingual. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alan

Akel Dental best dentist office I’ve been to both Akel and Mateo have made me feel very comfortable as I have had a phobia of dentists for years and refused to visit a dentist. Until I found them they have been phenomenal with getting me a resolution for severe pain I was experiencing and completed a crown for me as well

I was a patient at this location also. Great care as always. Dr Akel goes above and beyond every single time. All Dr Akel's haters need to go away, I've never seen such professionalism and excellent care by him and his entire team. His team is truly amazing. I always feel at home when at Akel.
