Good service. I ordered a couple of items off their website. The one small item turned out to be out of stock. So they emailed me to let me know it would be about 1 week before they had it back in stock. So they shipped the first part of my order, and then shipped the 2nd part of my order came in the next week, they shipped that out to me at no extra cost to me. It was nice of them to eat that extra shipping cost rather than make me wait for my first item so they could ship it all out together. I should also mention that they did give me the option of returning my money for the out of stock item, or swapping it for a similar item. So all 3 options they offered were fair or more than fair options due to the website stock error.

Do not order over the phone or online! If you are in arnprior it may be a different experience but trying to order online or over the phone I wouldn't refer them to anyone. The customer service I got was absolutly horrible and I ended up receiving the wrong item. When I called to rectify the problem I was told shipping both ways was on me because it was a mistake I made and not the 16 year old answering and taking orders. So I speak to al himself and he tells me His son knows more about my firearms than I do, thanks. Like I said decent stuff at reasonable rates just the worst customer service I have received from an online seller here in Canada.

My car broke down on my way to work Thursday morning. Fortunately it was close to Al's garage. Well I thought I was fortunate until I came and asked for help. It was at 8 am so the garage had to be open. But the owner told me in a mean and rude manner that the garage was still closed and that if I did not get out of his property right away he would tow my vehicle out! I was in a desperate situation cause the brakes did not work, the steering wheel did not turn and the engine was overheated. And he even did not want to listen! I have never experienced such hostility and indifference in my whole life.

Warning to not purchase used "new" firearms at this location. High chance of receiving a defective firearm and they will not accept return. I suspect they know of the firearms issues prior to sale and just want to off load it to an unsuspecting customer. I purchased a rifle to support my little brothers desire to get into shooting. Weapon jams constantly, misfires and the trigger siezes up completely. Not fun for anyone to shoot let alone a kid getting into the hobby. Pretty scummy but don't get burned yourself - stay away.

Great folks to deal with. I had a small problem with a mag extension I bought over the internet. Alan reached out to the manufacturer for his thoughts, and then sent me a replacement right away, and trusted me to return the one I had. Even sent a prepaid shipping envelope for the return! The replacement item worked great! Super customer service!

I'd recommend Al's any day of the week. I dealt with 2-3 different people on the phone, all very happy to answer any questions or offer advice. We dealt with Rick in-store and he was great. He gave us a tutorial on what we were buying and answered any questions we had. Great staff & prices we'll definitely be back.

It's an hour’s drive from where I live but it was worth for the visit. The store carries huge selection of hunting and fishing supplies plus foods and drinks. The people are friendly and helpful. With the experience gunsmith on site I'm very sure you can find something that can suite you the best.

Al knows his guns, gives me great advice, no pressure and all the guns I have bought have been excellent priced very competitive. One Stop shop, there is a gun smith on site from basic fixes to the most complicated work. I have no problem recommending him to my friends.

I have never personally been to the store. This past year I was looking for a specific muzzleloader and could not find one anywhere in Canada. Al's had one in stock and offered to ship it to me in London. It shipped promptly and the whole experience was great.
