I have been going to this library for years, and I love it. The library is child and teenager friendly, with a separate kids section. Free parking space is available in front of the library. Free internet available for a limited period. Clean, hygienic washrooms for both children and adults. Drinking water is available all the time, and sometimes even Arabic coffee is available. A quiet space, comfortable for students. A wide collection of books is available, ranging from fiction to non fiction and various genres, perfect for enthusiastic readers. (CDs are also available) Easy check in and check out system for those who want to borrow books. The staff too, is very helpful and friendly.

Dubai Culture team has always raised their benchmark on giving the best services to the public and they should definitely be appreciated. The Mankhool Library is one of the best the staff and management team are very cooperative, except the SECURITY TEAM where I personally felt unpleasant the way the deal and talk .They were rude and talks in a bossy manner. I have not felt the same in other branches especially the Tawar and HorAl Anz Branch where the whole team is dedicated and well trained and especially the security who are very help ful and guest friendly. Above all thank you all for your service.

Very well kept and government owned library. Good collection of books. If you are someone who is looking for a peaceful place to read books, this place is a great option. You are free to take your coffee with you and read the book of your choice. Clean washrooms and Free wifi and charging ports. You can access the computers too. Half of Dubai's population is unaware that this place is Free to use. Open from 8 am in the morning till around 7:45 in the evening. There is membership programs if you wish to acceess more services within library. Glad that authorities are maintaining it in the right way.

This is the outside area of Al Mankhool Public Library, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Place was not so quiet as it's next to a car wash area of gas station. But it is outside where you can also do phone calls, online meetings or enjoy a snack. There are only two tables with several chairs under the shade. Not so many people opt to sit outside. But if it is too cold inside you can choose to be outside. There is a big tent to offer shades so it is nice. Masjid is very near so you can go there to pray at prayer times. Library is open Sunday to Friday from 8 AM to 22 PM except on Friday closes at 12 PM

Thanks to Govt of UAE for providing a good public library and maintaining it's in a super hygiene through out the days. There is no Fee for using the library. Good Ambience for studying, Reading, browsing Internet, plenty of charging sockets, number of study tables, spacious, drinking water, hygiene washroom etc. Timing: 8am-8pm (open all days except Friday) NB: keep silence ( If you want to make/attend call, just go outside there is space for you to chit chat)

This a nice effort from the Dubai government. It has been one month now since I have started using this library and there's varieties of books there. Very quite and tranquil for discernment. You have free drinking water and coffee financed by the government. There's as well free wifi connection and computers for use. For the nature of work I do, I have turned this library to my workstation

Best Library. Neat and clean, silent and best environment for reading, writing, thinking, planning or surfing. Good Library available for anyone in Dubai. The Mankhool Library is a really nice place to read or study. The drawback that i felt here is, library being closed on Saturdays,which makes working class people like me difficult to study. I hope the authorities will make changes and increase the working hours and start opening on Saturdays too like public libraries in Abu Dhabi, where it is more friendly for the working class.

For all the bookworms this is a good place to visit and find your fiction non fiction study books to various magazines etc. Has a lovely atmosphere and very nice employees who are always attentive to your needs. Not to miss the outside seating area for a quick phone call or gup shup with your friends...give it a try and oh they also serve you Kahwa...isnt that sweet of them

This library is closed for renovation till mid-Nov as per information provided by the security team at the library gate. I walked 1.5 km to the library only to found out that it is closed. Before leaving I called the Dubai Culture (request No. T2022102059653) they provided good information however did not mention if Al Mankhool Library is closed. Anyway bit disappointed.

The place is great.. govt have made more than a aplaudable effort to build the library. However staff is really noisy. I went for the first time today to prepare for my exam. And two ladies on reception continuously kept talking non stop. Couldn't focus on studies at all. I told them once that you are disturbing. They kept quite for one hour and then same.

It was amazing library i ever seen, when i wannted to read i was gone there for reading, all books are avilable in this library,much beautifull ,greate experience,atmosphere was very good and calm, avilable water ane tea , coffee amenities, u can access computer there but its chargeable, u can go free for reading , there is no charge for it

Amazing library to study and work. With high speed internet, drinking water and Gahwa drink. Even we have a place behind library to sit and attend a call. Very clear and nearly maintained. Even they have systems to access. And it can be easily access by anyone, just you need to fill out basic details at the entrance.

One of the best service provided by Government to the community. An access to learning and education. Only one request that if wooden chairs can be replaced by the ergonomical comfort chair as wood chairs are huge inconvenience and discomfort for the long sitting especially for people with lower Back problems.

The place is good, but the receptionist ladies talk loudly 24/7!!! They talk for hours and hours and you can hear them from the second floor!!!!!! Cleary they have noooooo idea what are the Library ethics! They won't stop talking unless they see a LOCAL visitor coming to read!

Excellent ambience and decor, neat and clean, large number of books for issue to readers, multiple newspapers are coming to the library for public reading. Newspapers and magzine in English, Arabic languages. Computer added and good seating arrangements.

The library is good. Enough furnitures for sitting. The only con is that the ladies sitting at the reception are continuously chatting and giggling. Thats so not correct......management should intervene and possible bring out some solution

Fabulous space - well laid out and a wide variety of books with membership options for families. Also has computers and reading tables with a dedicated segment for young readers. Great value for bookworms. Very generous lending rules.

Better to call them at 04 5155 200 and ensure they’re open before you visit. I visited on 8 April 2021 - the security informed that library is temporarily closed for maintenance; didn’t inform until when they’ll remain closed.

Never open I went all the way from my home to the library and it was 7 30 and the security said its closed So I went the next day which was Friday and the security said it closed at 12 From 9 to 12 is just unbelievable

Amazing library for working. Free high-speed 500mbps internet, water, and coffee. They even have a sit-out area behind the library in case you need to talk a call. They also have decent computer chairs and desks.

They have some good volumes. Small library but well organized one. Also the internet speed is good. If you love reading or preparing for some exams, try to get membership in this library, its completely worth it.

Very nice Public Library, Staff is very cooperative. Even one staff help me in search book. Good place for study. One suggestion is there time should be from 6 am to 10 pm , because 8 am to 8 pm is office time.

Well Maintained Library but closed on Weekends. My suggestion is to open on weekends too, at least on Saturdays. It would be very helpful for working people to make their weekends productive.

Library closed on weekends and weekdays working hours also from 8AM to 5PM, how working people can manage in this schedule. I don't understand why they closed Sunday also?

Nice and clam place where one can access all kinds of books. There are plethora of books available for kids. For lending, there is a subscription fee applied.

In map show library open till 8pm but security guard say it's closed. library will open tomorrow at 8am and close 5pm. I think they changed the time.
