Alex is a great guy. He's knowledgeable, professional, responsible, trustworthy & fair. He knows cars and he definitely knows how to fix them. He fixed my AC/heater a few weeks ago... it's still going strong. I feel he gave me a very fair price. He does all type of work on cars. He stays open late, he works on weekends & open 7 days a week. He works hard & gets the job done. If you need an excellent mechanic, Alex is your guy. I know I'll be going to him from now on if I ever need anything car related. Thanks again Alex. Needed help with my 2 back tires that got slashed... this other mobile repair service was charging me over 100$ and they didn’t even guarantee a fix.. for a flat tire at that! Google this placed and found out they do roadside assistance! Alex came removed the tires and took them back to his shop for a diagnostic. Super honest guy with great prices! Got me 2 tires, brought them BACK to my house and installed them for me. Honest work and by far the best customer service from start to finish. They are even open 24/7 which is super hard to find here in San Antonio. Definitely will be coming back and highly Recommend my friend and family if the need ever arises. Thanks again Alex!!

We broke down while out of town after a day of playing at Six Flags. We were on our way home back to Katy, on a Sunday, when my son’s car broke down! I had 4 teenagers with me and had to get them back home. The car broke down I’m the worst place on I10. We had the car towed to Alex’s. I was worried about the situation, but they took very good care of us! Alex’s replaced the engine, fixed the radiator and would have fixed the air, but we had to get back to San Antonio to pick it up. I want to say thank you for being there during the worst time for us! And for doing a great job at a decent rate!! We greatly appreciate you and your team of experts!!!:)

My husband just needed help getting lug nuts loose cause his tire blew and he was trying to get the spare on. This place said they could help, but all they did was strip two of the lug nuts worse and then say well if I have to actually put work in to get them off that'll be $10 a lug nut!!! A used tire only cost $45 yet he wants $50 to take of lug nuts!!! Greedy and no compassion. My husband is still out there trying to get the last one they messed up more off 9 hrs and counting!

I’ve been to this tire shop several times and have yet to be disappointed. Alex is a remarkably versatile mechanic who has done fantastic work on my car over the past year, from oil and tire changes, to LED-light installments, to brake jobs, to stopping oil leaks from worsening, this is the quintessential tire shop in San Antonio and I highly recommend it to anybody who needs reliable work done on their vehicle for reasonable and fair prices.

Wow! I can only thank this place for solving my damaged mcgard wheel lugnut headache on my bmw X5, Thank you so much Alex, after it was attempted to be remove by 3 diferent shop no one was able to remove it so i was still hesitant, I felt souch a relief when he got it out that I ask them to replace my rear Pads as well. I know who to bring my car now HERE!! Thank you!!

Horrible service! Owner said he would help me repair my rv drum and brakes and never came through to help. Had me running around SA for parts and in the end he never helped me and said that “he doesn’t work for me” when I was going to pay him for his service! So I had to drive my rv back home 3 hours with 3 tires while axle was tide on with ratchet strap!

I’ve gone to several tire shops around San Antonio, from mediocre ones to respectably decent ones, however, none come close to Alex Tire & Auto. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences and great service provided at this shop and I recommend it anyone who needs good and reliable work done on their car.

Very professional, and honest work, was very convenient to take in on a late evening. Inspected my tire carefully and found a new tire wasn’t necessary. They have a tow service available if you ever get stranded. Alex is the guy to call for sure! Thank you for all your help.

Alejandro asked me send a deposit to get the tires ready. Arrived for my appointment and the shop is closed down. Doesn’t even appear to be in business. Called him and he said they had to leave and now I’m his phone is off. DO NOT do business here.

Alex is on point. If you want a fair and professional, call Alex. He was there within 15 minutes. Good dude and really cares about his customer. Even got me a discount when I had to tow my car. I would recommend to anyone!

Came in for an oil change and a tuneup after a friend told me about this place - Alex did a great job very fast at an affordable price! What more do you want from a shop? Best experience ever, will be coming back.

Alex is great guy. Was able to take care of my flat and get me down the road. Location is great especially if you have a flat tire on I-10 and Culebra road. And its after 8pm. I recommend Alex Tire & Auto Shop!!

Thank god they where open on a late Sunday we got a flat tire and a young man helped us out. He patched it up and we where on our way great service thank you.

Left a rim to have it fixed they say it would be ready the next day it’s been a week went back to pick it up took it somewhere else not happy.
