My husband and I have been attending Altamesa for 3 years. We enjoy that they offer weekly communion, an intelligent and good discerning pastor who truly welcomes all, and we enjoy the size. It is quick to do Children's ministry/nursery drop-off so you aren't waiting in lines or a crowd. All the staff are very welcoming. The adult bible studies are insightful and structured well. They have a really sweet mini bible study even for the nursery babies and toddlers my son really enjoys. They don't boast in the ways they help the community. You can go there for years and continually learn about some things they have been helping out with for years. Most people know about Neighborhood Needs on the property, but there are many other ways they support the community. I know my faith has grown being here. I started at a mega church and was baptized. When we moved to Texas we started attending Altamesa and the people here were such authentic Christians that it made me realize that my previous church was a bit more superficial and new Christians so I had only grown so far in my faith. This church helped show me deeper biblical meaning and teaching and a bit more maturity in how to think by being around more seasoned believers. I also enjoyed that they have a nursing mom's or just mom's room on the side of the chapel so you can watch the service in person and still have privacy. We were the only ones in there at the time and it was fun to decide to turn the volume way up on the Christian music during service and have my son crawl around or bounce to the music in their bouncer. It is a very nice well put together set-up for new moms. So many reasons to love this church fellowship. I'm sure your faith and love for God will grow if you attend and get to know the people here.

I have only fellowshipped with them at this church only once but the experience was a good one. I notice that they had a nice race mix and I felt comfortable being there. I went to hear one of my friends tell her testimonial and it was a good one. I was greeted by some kind faces who offered me something to drink and eat. Although the pastor was out the minister who served was down to earth and very personable. We was in a sub section of the church, we was not in the main sanctuary. However it was roomy and nice. I would consider visiting this church again in the future.

A beautiful place to worship with a friendly, caring church family. Traditional acapella and instrumental services are available on Sundays along with child, teen, and adult Bible classes. This church also supports the community through Neighborhood Needs - a place where families can come for food, clothing, and household items. If you're looking for a well-established church whose mission is to be a diverse family where the love of Jesus creates a fellowship of love and belonging for all people, this is the place for you!

They have 2 different times of service so many programs to help with and they have a building in front that helps with neighborhood needs they have breakfast served every Tuesdays and they help with Christmas gifts too. They also send things to other countries to help as well and have a listening of active other churches that helps them help the community as well

My family loves being a part of this church family. We join a diverse group of people each week including many other young families that love to praise God. The friends we have made help each other walk through life together during the week. Altamesa is a true blessing in southwest Fort Worth.

Altamesa has been home for 19 years. The people here are family. They have been with us and lifted us up through highs and lows. No matter your background or what baggage you carry, the people here will love you. Worshiping and serving here has been, and continues to be, a pleasure.

Love this church and the people that are a part of it. Llyod and his family invited us, and even his kids were nice to our kids. Love the music and message on Sunday mornings. When I met the Pastor he was easy to talk to. Great Church!

I have been going to this church for 8 years and have been so blessed by the community I found here. My family and I are blessed by great services and a wonderful children's program for our daughter. Love this church family!

We attended their neighborhood block party! The kids LOVED their face painting station and petting zoo area. They had hand sanitizer and a good variety of barnyard animals to enjoy petting.

What a great church. Pastor Micah Hob delivers an excellent message each week. What i like the most about this church is the connection with the community.

They have a great drive thru for helping those in need, in neighborhood who have signed up for help. Big help to my family! Thank You!
