I won’t comment about other AMART stores, but even though not publicly announced, Prospect is definitely under new TERRIBLE management and they are disgustingly rude and uptight, and their delivery guys are extremely unprofessional! We have spent thousands at amart, more Disappointed each time with the quality and service. Another package we will need to return although this time I will not be paying more ontop to pick what is told to you to be “better quality” then the last. It’s all rubbish from Vietnam (their good quality range btw) no whole pieces of timber and they get away with charging they’re ridiculous price tags. ALWAYS missing items or damages on arrival. Save your money and go somewhere else or be weary and choose wisely, don’t go off any information the sales person feeds you. The new management at prospect no longer make it easy to deal with returns/exchanges. Still waiting for the manager to call me back regarding my email from early last week and am told “in 48 hours he will call”...longest 48 hours of my life!

Terrible customer service at Prospect Store and Delivery system I never recommend Amart to others. After 4 months of purchasing and 2 weeks calling, followup for delivery and staying home for 2 dayd during this period, ghe order has not been delivered and manager simply says delivery is out of control! He says there is no gurantee for deleivery time frame which they give me to be home. They sent me text messages the day begire the delivery would be in this 3 hours window between 9:45 to 12:45 or 11 to 2 pm. So, I got off work and stayed home but no one came. I called them and simply ghey say no guarantee!!! Because there are 5 more delivery in the same truck! I have paid for delivery so is it fair to bring my order along with 4 more delivery to get their profit instaed my losing money as staying home and wasting my time?!! I have called many times after first return delivery which was 2 hours after their time frame but no one cares even I sent them feedback and they put my note on their system. It happened again!

Good location (nice and quiet just how i like it, with plenty of parking). Large store with good selection of display stock for testing. Staff are generally helpful and friendly...i always find the click and collect fellas at the rear of the store super helpful with getting gear into your vehicle and seem to be a lot more jolly than most. In-store its a bit subjective...some customers love the attention, some just want to be left alone...but I guess its expected that the sales person on the floor walking towards you is expected to make a sale. Better value when they have their sales and occasionally they have good deals on floor stock (if you dont mind marks, minor damage etc). At time of writing, if you require delivery for the larger items these are provided for a reasonable price on a Saturday...best be available if so as they dont provide a whole lot of notice (hard to gauge with sydney traffic i guess). All in all great overall experience.

We bought a mattress from Amart worth $1400 .that had some defects and wasn't firm at one side as The other . Store Manager Darren refused to exchange the defected mattress even it was only 2 weeks we complained and wanted a replacement with a brand new condition mattress . After multiple visits he finally agreed to replace however wanted us to pay delivery 170 $ along with price difference which was unfair because mattress fault wasn't our problem We chose amart for their well known customer service after such harassment we wanted to get a refund but Abdur and Kirstie came to our rescue and replaced the mattress as per Australian standards we were finally happy with the service . Kudos to Abdur and Kirstie for understanding customer satisfaction and needs . Amart needs to hire more people like them who accept the faulty products and provide a replacement as per market stayndards

Very rude staff, it was like honestly they were purposely trying to dishearten me not to purchase from there. I put a deposit on a lounge and then a few weeks later I turned up to pay and they had the wrong colour. Which they informed me the colour I wanted wouldn't arrive till 3 months time. Staff were more interested in talking to each other then giving good classic customer service. It was honestly very poor and even after I had paid and asked them if someone could put my bed together, the lady at the desk gave a flat out NO, when all that time the floor people said yes. It's like they don't communicate or don't like being there? Anyway if it wasn't for the cheapness of their sales from time to time I would've taken my money elsewhere. Just beware of the dis interested staff and how rude they are especially if you have kids being kids around.

Worst shopping experience I have had in a long time. Purchased a bookcase on the 5/2 and was told by the sales person Kim H. There were plenty at the warehouse and it would be in in a couple of days. 3 days later I called and enquired. And was told they are expecting some trucks in and it should be on one of them. 12/5 I am now being told by the manager there were never any at the warehouse. They are at the dock and they don’t know when they are getting them. Unless they have it in stock. Don’t purchase anything. Not even a deposit. If you read other people experiences they also have had trouble with deliveries and stock and missing parts. Company has major internal issues avoid doing business with them if you can.

Best customer service...Had the worst expierience with the Auburn store. We came to prospect and were immediately approached by the most friendliest, most professional salesman by the name of Athar...This guy answered our questions 100%..He could sell ice to an eskimo.. I was window shopping that day but due to his professionalism and how caring he was towards myself and my family, i ended up purchasing from him... If you want the best, professional quality in service... I recommend this gentleman and this store...100%

I have booked the beds, mattress and chest drawers for my first floor in townhouse .. the store has committed to deliver it to the frst floor, however on the day of delivery they haven't done that, claiming their rules doesn't permit first floor delivery in town house.. be careful before you book the product from Amart.. salesperson will false promise don't get in to the trap.. else.prepared with handy man to put them on right place ..some of the products on their list are of.poor quality do thorough check before booking ....

Great range of furnitures on display, helpful staff BUT hang on....takes 3-4 months to get the lounge. Whatever lounge we pointed at, same story. Well they lost a sale, and i saw 2 more customers leave as well as they were provided same delivery time frame. Sales person said most of the products have similar time frame. CoVid have made an effect, but it was the same 1-2 months timeframe before CoVid we visited. Surely in this day and age logistics and operations can be improved to be impressive.

The guy who seem to be the manager is not very accommodating. We can hear him instruct this young girl, who's an employee to follow certain type of clients who he may feel would actually buy. We asked for the price of a dining table that is on clearance that did not have a price tag on it and the same girl who is an absolute sweetheart, tried and ask the same guy for the lats price and when we said that there's no price tag on it he just replied "well maybe it's already sold" and walked away

We had a pretty good experience with Super Amart couple of years back when we built a house. We bought recliner sofa for our media room, kids bunk bed and couple of mattresses. Quality was pretty good and prices were very sharp, we did a bit of price comparison exercise and found it to be the best option available at that point in time. They have a vast range of beds, sofas, dinning and other furniture. The are located little away from homemakers complex, plenty of parking available.

Never buy from Amart Ever they give ads for the biggest sales and big promises but when in reality you need them they just like any cheap tactics that customer care has rejected and we have to follow rules and we cannot help you. Pay more money to other stores to get services but Amart plays cheap tactics and has all the excuses not to help the customer. Customer care or store people are hands in glove and they put the buck on each other when it comes to helping within warranty.

Went in today to buy a new corner lounge. Had a few staff members approach us but I got the pushy salesman/woman vibe from them. Had a lovely staff member called Anthony approach us, he was attentive, informative and knew when to give us space to think, all the while remaining professional and hungry for the sale. We crunched the numbers with him and felt very comfortable spending a fairly large sum at Amart. Would recommend him if you’re going in there for a larger spend.

We brought 3 items that was unavailable. Staff told us that if we purchased it on that day, it'll take 3 weeks to recieve it. We waited 2 months!. They did not follow up or communicate to us via email/text when the estimate time will arrived. I had to follow it up, chasing for the stock i paid for. Was tempted to ask for a refund, which i should have. Overall, reviewers - purchase the stock if the stock is available at that time of the day, if not - DONT BOTHER!

Customer service at it's best: I am an old valuable customer who purchased stuff from Amart in Bankstown over $6K. I called today asking to purchase somethis was on special on Friday and ready to pay for it today. They said no, we can't do as this offer is finished. Representative was rude on the phone so i said ok. Called another branched "Prospect" and they were so helpful and lovely and they said sure. This is where i am going next time to buy from Amart.

Disappointed. Purchased a sofa bed last week, the frame holding one of the legs broke after 3 days. Poor quality material and substandard items made in china. submitted a warranty claim and chased after them the whole week. asked for a refund as I have reached breaking point, returned the item to the store warehouse and received the refund today. not worth the hassle and inconvenience that I had to go through.

Great range of furniture on site, so you can actually try things out. I bought an electric recliner, and without testing a lot of different ones, it would have been just potluck if it was comfortable for my body type. Every other store I rang had an extremely limited range in the showroom, so I would have been purchasing just on pictures. The staff were very friendly & helpful & the delivery was on time.

Nice team but pieces missing in the boxes. Still waiting to get the replacement pieces shipped to my house. EDIT: called multiple times. Still no missing pieces arrived at my house EDIT2: had to drive out there twice and finally got the missing part 2months later. Yes the prices are good, but wasted so much money and time on going back and forth that I also could have purchased from freedom or others.

Ordered on-line and phoned ahead to arrange / make sure I could pick-up the items. All was good for pick-up. Arrived to be told that the stock in their system is never accurate and that damages are often inflating their online stock on hand. Half the items ordered were not available for pickup. I received my refunded for the out of stock items however will never return to such a poor service provider.

Exceptional customer service from A Mart prospect. I had a faulty table which was replaced straight away. The new table was difficult to assemble so the customer service team organised a man to come and assemble it for me at my house. We can now have our BBQ this weekend. The Sailor table looks brilliant. I'd recommend anyone looking for furniture to shop here as you know you will be looked after.

Worse experience of online order ever in city like Sydney. They do not have any track of firing tire order placed .. my order has been lost and they have no tracking rather asking me to chase courier company. Courier company is also not aware where my order is n they require details from Amart. M a ping pong at moment trying to recover my order or money. But until now failing, it’s over a month.

Walked in , huge stock with 2 staff on floor and another 2 behind the service/cashier desk . I was happy with self service , I knew what I wanted but I had a question . Special thanks to Daniella who helped with communication with other beaches and saved me lots of back and forth. She made my days much easier. I have been buying my furniture from Amart for the last year and that’s the main reason… good and friendly customer support… compared to other competitors

Honestly, worst experience with this store. We ordered a couch with them in July 2020, after waiting 4 months due to covid for the couch to arrive (we were happy to wait) to have it arrived damaged and them making us wait another 4 months to get a replacement of the same couch, for it to come damaged for the second time again. I am so disappointed in this company.

Waited five and a half months for five pieces of furniture that was suppose to be delivered first week in Febuarary, flat packs at that. Finally delivery date arrived, mid May my furniture was dumped on my front lawn, drivers said it wasn't there reasponsability to bring inside the house. Totally disappointed with A mart, not a nice experience at all. BEWARE...

The products are good. Reasonable value for money. The sales staff, receptionist was good and helpful. They missed to mention about assembly and collection of boxes during delivery. Regardless I would recommend this place as they tend to be doing honest business. In the coming years we will find out how good they are with guarantees and warranties.

You get what you pay for, They give very good offers sometimes, but after few months definatly you will regret your decesion. Very very poor quality furniture. Bed broke after 2 months, dining chair broke after 3 months and lot more.Please avoid this store unless you have plans to change your furniturre every 3-4 months.

Very friendly staff, variety of things to choose from, but won’t deliver on time and when you call them they will be making excuses that they haven’t received most of the items and will call you once they receive them, but again never calls you and you have to chase them up. Regretful choice of buying from them.....

Popped in to pick up a click and collect order. Staff member that assisted me was very friendly and welcoming. Even had a lil chat with me. I was in the wrong spot for pick ups so she walked and collected it for me instead of making me go there, little things like that really makes the experience a good one :)

Asked for someone to measure it and he handed me the tape measure without bothering to assist or follow me to the other end of the store to get the tape measure back. Staff were helpful. However when I purchased a bed, I opened up the packaging to find that there were two giant/huge holes drilled in the underside of the bed. Everytime I lay my head down to rest I think about how crappy it looks and how I was ripped off. Relatively speedy delivery. Disappointing end result.

Good service, easy peyment method but beware of the delivery service, they kept a couch in the driveway because it doesn’t fit in the elevator - my husban had to carry it to the 4th floor. I called and explained and they have apologized and refunded the delivery charge. But the overall experience is good

Worst customer service. The manager was rude and no help when trying to buy a bed frame from this store. Short blunt and spoke to me like i had asked her for a favour when I wanted to spend $300 in her store. Call in advance for stock cause they are no help in store and just send you to another store.

Bought Whole package and TV table seems long. Approached them, took several boxes their to get refund after calling them. They offered nothing and advice us to sell on online. Even does not care about their own invoice value for refund. Never recommend anyone to deal with them.

Vast, dated range, sombre, not a competitive streak and floor staff with a mood that suggests they'd rather be elsewhere. If the company wants to build on fan fare, it needs creative pricing, incentives to motivate staff and/or at the very least some music to uplift the mood.

Overpriced crap from china. Update - 2 dining chairs have since broken after only 2months. And a replacement one sent out has one leg about 2cm shorter than the rest. Absolutely staggered that a place like this can continue to trade
