I've been coming here for years since I moved near Brentwood. Honestly I should've posted a good review earlier. Office staff and everyone has typically been so nice. I don't know what happened today, but the treatment I received was subpar at best. I had an issue and the nurse told me to take a walk in today. I was having a slew of symptoms that all started when the main issue started including migraines and rashes. When I got there for my appointment, another man in the reception made a sexist remark towards me. I told the front desk, and a front desk woman responded "we know him" essentially. Meanwhile two feet from that is a poster saying that inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Bad start. I go into the room and the nurse was also very nice. Then my doctor comes in. I start explaining the ridiculous amount of issues I've been having that lead to my main issue - she cut me off and said since I was a walk in she didn't have time for any of that today and what was my main issue. I told her my biggest concern, I thought I might be impacted. She sent me off to get imaging and if I couldn't get an imaging appointment to go to the ER. After saying I was just a walk in she said she's not even my PCP. I had specifically requested her to be my PCP because I've seen her the most and liked her. She then denied my request for labs for PCOS because they don't manage that and I need an OBGYN. Meanwhile my diagnosis and management of PCOS has exclusively come from this office. Again, two feet away from me is a pamphlet saying they offer women's health care. The directions she gave me today where simply to get me out of her hair as quickly as possible. She sent me to imaging and possibly ER for impaction, came back to deny my labs, and I didn't see her again. Impactions typically do not require er level care until they progress into an obstruction. That's what I came for. Laxative instructions. Instead I got pushed out and possibly into a thousands of dollars e.r. bill because a doctor didn't want to deal with me today. I'm not trying to say I know better than a doctor, and I am getting a second opinion, but I am no longer returning here or at the very least not seeing this doctor again. I felt the treatment I received today was to get me out of the office as quickly as possible. However again, everyone else here is very nice. Extra star for the front desk and nurses.

I had a check-up with Dr. Sam today, and I must say, it was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. As someone who loathes visiting doctors, I was filled with apprehension when discussing my complications stemming from a leg disability and trouble focusing. However, from the moment I stepped into the clinic, I knew this visit would be different. Dr. Sam is undoubtedly an angel in disguise. His caring and compassionate demeanor immediately put me at ease. He took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, showing genuine interest in my health and well-being. His warm and approachable nature made it easy for me to open up about my struggles, something I seldom do with medical professionals. The level of knowledge and expertise displayed by Dr. Sam is truly commendable. Not only did he address all of my questions with utmost clarity, but he also provided me with comprehensive and insightful information about my conditions. He explained potential treatment options and shared his expert opinion, which greatly boosted my confidence in his abilities. The clinic staff also deserves special praise for their friendliness and professionalism. From the receptionist to the nurses, everyone greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel welcome. This atmosphere of warmth and hospitality added to the overall positive experience. Trust is paramount when it comes to healthcare, and I can wholeheartedly say that I trust Dr. Sam's opinion and judgment. He made sure to involve me in the decision-making process, considering my preferences and concerns throughout. In conclusion, my visit with Dr. Sam and his wonderful team was nothing short of exceptional. For someone who dreads doctor visits, this experience has changed my perspective entirely. I highly recommend Dr. Sam to anyone seeking a caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate doctor who genuinely cares about their patients' well being

I found this clinic because I it is very close to my office and decided to go in when I injured my wrist. Next time I will wait for an appointment with my primary care office. I found it disconcerting that they advertise that they accept walk-ins (and they do) but the second you walk in the door with no appointment they let you know that you may have to wait "a long time". It is understandable that they take appointments before walk-ins but the attitude I recieved from the staff made it seem like I wasn't wanted there. I found the staff a bit abrasive (not quite rude, but dismissive and proccupied with the phone and their personal conversations) and they let me know that they did not know if anything would be covered by my insurance. When I explained that I have a very good insurance plan they said "Well, we'll see" and asked me to take my seat and wait. Once I got to the back I was allowed to wait 45 minutes for a doctor to come in and speak with me. The doctor was very personable and quickly ordered x-rays. They were able to do them immediately. I waited another 45 minutes and the doctor came back and let me know they didn't see any issues. In all I spent 3 hours there on what was intended to be quick trip to the walk-in on my lunch hour. I won't be going back due to the fact that I obviously was not wanted there. I get the impression that they take walk-ins to compensate for a lack of regular appointments. I am tempted to contact the doctor(s) and let them know that their staff is most likely driving thier business away.

Seriously LOVE the AFD staff and doctor's. Found them years ago on New Years as a worried walk-in patient needing someone to look at a whole in my head.... Litteraly! I had a ruptured cyst on my scalp and I needed to be seen that day... But refused to go to an ER. That is the day I found my new Primary Care "home". And years later I've been seen for some many various reasons I don't know where I'd be without them, I'm pretty sure I owe my life to them. They've helped me thru some rough things...they are honest and forthcoming...even when it's hard to hear truth. Like:"I could benefit from some weight loss". Truth I needed to hear from a doctor because I NEEDED to do something. My favorite, Shhh don't tell her, is PA Becca Sommers, she's heard it all from me. But Dr Davis got me Paid one time for having the Flu! If you have to have the flu... Why not get paid while having it?!! And the staff.... Those ladies ROCK!! I'd leave someone out if I tried to list them all... But they know who they are.... And I they make my visits when I feel like "crude" so much better. Seriously all nice and genuine caring people. I kind of owe my life to this group! Oh, I also like the allergy care I've received... I LOVE that they offer Allergy Shots you can do at home!! I recommend AFD Brentwood to anyone I know thats in the area... And even to people who are willing to Drive for great care.

I never write reviews, but I thought it would be helpful for anyone thinking of coming here if you are skeptical. I scheduled a physical with Dr Davis and was sent a confirmation email with my appt. I took off work, drove 45 min to get there and then went up to the receptionist to sign in to be seen. She looked at her computer and said that she didn't see my appt. I asked her if she needed to see my confirmation email as she said no, that she would continue looking. She looked at me and said "They tried to call you - we actually cancelled your appt with us bc we do not offer physicals this late in the day." I said, no one called me or left me a vm to notify me about that. She didn't know what to say other than "we can reschedule you to come back in?" I told her no. Why would I want to come back if they can't even handle appts? To management - this is absolutely unacceptable. Online you can charge your patients $25 if they cancel their appt, but you can cancel patients at any time without notifying them and waste their time? We should send you a bill for cancelling our appts. You guys dropped the ball and I would've respected you owning up to your mistake rather than lying telling me that you tried to contact me whenever clearly you didn't. Thank you for wasting my time taking off work and wasting my gas to get turned away. Not professional.

Nothing about this place is acceptable, there is no reason to risk going here...even in an emergency there are other urgent care clinics close enough for you to keep looking. The office sells gimmicky weight loss supplements and other products, they are using their patients as a captive audience for their retail business. If you like going to tupperware parties, you might like this place. The Dr was unprofessional, and clearly very scattered, asked me the same questions multiple times and listened to my heart multiple times because he forgot he already did it. I was asked to fill out questionnaires that had nothing to do with my visit. I previously saw an NP at this location, she left and they did not let me know before I arrived for my appointment. Appointments are pointless because the waits are just as long as walk ins. I now see extremely deceptive billing practices, standard yearly physical office visit padded with nutritional and lifestyle counseling charges - I guess because the provider mentioned the benefits of the whole 30 diet and intermittent fasting during a routine visit - both of which were unwarranted suggestions and nothing like counseling. Unethical in every sense of the word.

America's Family Doctors provides exceptional care for patients that is unparalleled to any other clinic or primary care in my experience.There is really no other clinic like it in the area that provides emergency walk-in care as well as regular primary care needs. Dr. Samudrala, Dr. Dar, Angeline, Vernon, the front desk staff, everyone is so positive and genuinely invested in every patients' individual health needs and concerns, whether you are a first time walk-in patient or an established one. As a Family Nurse Practitioner Intern, I can positively say that I have not worked with a provider as caring and passionate about their work as Dr. Sam. I have learned far beyond the basic knowledge needed to provide services for patients, but I have also seen what it means to truly CARE for our patients under the exceptional supervision of Dr. Sam. I would (and have) recommend this clinic to anyone.

I walked in and waited. Forty five minutes later they told me since I have a high deductible plan they'll need to collect $75.00. I know my plan, I know that I don't have a copay and EVERY SINGLE other doctor I've went to just bills my insurance. This is a policy exclusive to this practice, but that's not what I had a problem with, my issue is that this policy was posted nowhere (if it was, I would have walked in and right back out as I knew I was not prepared to pay $75.00) and the fact that it took them 45 minutes to tell me this. I've worked in the medical field for many years now and I know for a fact it takes all of 10 minutes to see what type of plan I have and any associated payments so God knows what they were doing and why it took 45 minutes of my wasted time to tell me. No consideration at all!! Don't bother!!

I will never go back here or recommend them to anyone. They took over a week to provide standard results when most Dr offices provide results in 24-48 hours. I called the office a couple times and each time a staff member gave me different information stating you will receive an email or it will be in the portal and it wasn't. Then I called for the last time. I was upset and requested my results and to speak to the Dr. The staff member tells me the Dr doesn't speak with patients you have to come in. Of course Dr Rebecca never calls me and then they send me a letter a month later stating that it was brought to their attention that I rude to their staff member and if this behavior continues they would be forced to not treat me again. Sending a letter and not hearing my side was a poor way to handle this.

I was a former patient of AFD clinic at Brentwood location. Honestly this is one of the best clinic in the town. Relocation was the only reason changed my pcp. In the recent past I did my nursing residency (MSN-FNP) with Dr Sam. I feel so blessed that I got chance to excel on my skills and knowledge under Dr. Sam's supervision and direction. He puts his knowledge, experience, personality and skills in his practice and teaching. He truly cares about his patient. He incorporates holistic care into his practice. Of all good qualities, I love how he invests his time into 'patient education'. I will carry it into my future practice as well. If you are looking for a PCP for you or your friends/family or a clinical site for nursing residency, I would highly recommend this clinical site.

AFD Clinics is an excellent place! I went there earlier this week, and to say that my experience was "good" is an understatement. I was given all the attention that I deserved. Not only was the staff excelling at what they do but also the clinic as a whole had a very clean and friendly atmosphere. I’m looking at all the reviews that people made before me, and I am shocked! Those other reviews don’t make sense. My visit to AFD was perfect. First of all, I really love the fact that I don’t even need an appointment to visit. It is a walk-in clinic. I also enjoyed the fact that I didn’t have to wait that long for my turn. AFD has a very diligent staff that optimizes efficiency. I feel that the people there were amazing. Dr. Sam seems to be doing a great job at running the place.

When I arrived, they treated me like I was trying to give them fraudulent insurance information. When I was finally taken back, the nurse left me wandering around the facility, trying to find where she went. She didn't explain anything she was doing (including the procedures of a strep test, where they swab the back of your throat with a cotton swab). The doctor kept trying to get me to purchase prescriptions from their clinic. After giving me a vaccine, they did not follow protocol and keep me for an extra 5 minutes (in case I was allergic to the vaccination). Finally, the prescription that the doctor prescribed for me had side effects that lowered my immune system, making me more susceptible to illness. Since then, I have gotten sick 3 times consecutively.

I stopped going because I was very tired of being treated rudely by the staff. They do not answer emails. I could never get through and then once I had a virtual appointment and met with Dr. Sam and on the same day they said I was a no show. I LOVE Dr. Samudrala. He is a fantastic physician but he is very difficult to get in to see and the the office is nightmare in getting through. I would email through the App they so often pushed patients to use but most of the time never got any response back or the office denied getting the email. I have a busy schedule so I can't sit on hold and call back constantly to be left on hold or never answered the phone. Because of that, I moved my physician to Centennial. Sadly- I liked the Dr. but he needs better staff.

Dr. Sam is a fantastic doctor. He takes genuine interest in the well-being and personal care of his patients. He is extremely friendly toward his staff and patients and appears to be very passionate about his care towards patients. He is meticulous and takes immense care about the cleanliness of his facilities which is another example of his interest towards the overall comfort of the patients he treats. Additionally, his work staff is efficent, quick, and friendly towards everyone. The friendlieness America's Family Doctors displays creates a small sense of community. This quality is not found in many places, and that's what seperates America's Family Doctors from other areas.

I had the pleasure in working with Dr. Sam for clinical hours in my nurse practitioner schooling. First and foremost, Dr. Sam deeply cares about each of his patients. He listens to each patient to form a plan for personal health goals. He is actively keeping up to date on new research and gives holistic care. Dr. Sam is not just a health care provider but is also the founder of AFD. He strives to make the clinics comfortable, efficient, and patient-centered. As a future health care provider, I will take what I learned about patient -centered care and experience into the health field. I was fortunate enough to do my clinical rotations for FNP school with Dr. Sam, and it was an amazing experience. He and the entire staff are all so kind, caring, empathetic and want the best for their patients. They provide patient-centered holistic care to anyone who walks in the door. Dr. Sam was great at spending the time necessary with all of his patients, answering their questions and providing health maintenance education to all. He encourages his interns to problem-solve and think critically, while providing a supportive learning environment. I learned so much from Dr. Sam and his staff and am so grateful for the wonderful experience.

I had appointment at 8:15 AM. They knew I was only there for a refill. Five different people in the office saw me. And I told these five different people that I had a 10 o’clock appointment in Franklin. Eventually I had to go out of the room in the hallway to find the doctor, and to tell him personally that I had to go. The doctor still came in and tried to chitchat with me. I told him that I had to go. I finally left at 9:50. I was five minutes late to my appointment. The doctor does not care about what I have to do obviously, his appointments or more important than mine.

America's Family Doctors clinic is honestly awesome! They always have availability and have really easy scheduling online. Dr. Davis is an excellent doctor who actually cares about her patients and takes time to really listen! The clinic is open until 5:30pm so I can usually make it in after work if I need something! Also they are open on weekends which has come in handy a few times! The staff here really care and always ask about my life and how I have been doing. For once, I enjoy coming to the doctor! Overall, I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

I have been going to America's Family Doctors for many years. It was one of the first times I felt like a group of doctors truly cared about me as a person and about my care. The staff is caring and friendly are always willing to help. I have seen most of the doctors here and they all have given me excellent care. Not only do they care about my health, they also care about me personally. I see Rebecca Sommers for my primary care and she is wonderful. I will continue to go back to America's Family Doctors because of the excellent care I have received there.

I can't say enough about the amazing staff here. From the front office people who, no matter how busy they are, always seem happy to help. To the nurses who are kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional. To the providers who always take the time to really understand what is going on and genuinely seem to care about making me feel better. Their walk in clinic is so much better than having to go to an urgent care; if I get sick they always work me in, and I get to see someone who already knows me. Best clinic in town!

I am a medical student and have spent time at this location and the location in Spring Hill as well. The providers and staff here are absolutely amazing and passionate about what they do. They make sure that each patient gets the best care possible. They take pride in their customer service and are always improving their already outstanding reputation. It was a pleasure to be able to work with the providers at these locations and would give them the highest recommendation to anyone seeking a quality medical provider!

Dr Sam and his staff at AFD provides quality service that is kind, helpful and that improves your overall health. I recently had a major health issue that Dr Sam and staff provided excellent treatment both for the health issue as well as customer service and care I don’t usually do reviews however your choice of a Dr and clinic is one of the most important decisions. I've been to AFD in Brentwood five times. The first visit was fine. The second visit with an appointment, I waited over an hour while walk ins were taken in before me. Okay, whatever. The other two appointments were disappointing. Today, I went to AFD to request a copy of my records. When I got home to review my records, I find two other people's records in with mine, including their Social Security numbers. It is chilling to wonder how many people may walk away with my personal information.

They are awesome! I love that I can walk in & don't have to have an appointment. My work schedule is so crazy and I can't always get to an appointment on time. With them being open 7 days a week, I can go whenever. Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but they have always taken good care of me so it is well worth it. The staff is great & I have seen the same faces for the last few years, which makes me feel good knowing they don't have a lot of turn over there.

I love the staff at this location! My husband and I are patients of Dr. Davis and we can't say enough great things about her and this clinic. I have several health issues and need accommodations when visiting the clinic. The staff has always been very helpful, professional and never made me feel uncomfortable because of my difficulties. They are quick to respond, even last minute. The hours are super convenient and check in is a breeze. I highly recommend them.

A very welcoming experience at AFD, been at two locations at Brentwood and Smyrna to see Dr.Sam and loved seeing him as a physician since he was very thorough in addressing all issues and reassuring with subsequent follow ups. The office staff was very helpful in scheduling and promptly got back to me with questions about labs, notes, insurance coverage. I'd highly recommend AFD clinics for anyone seeking a primary care provider and for urgent care walk in.

AFD Clincs Brentwood is an excellent clinic. I have been a patient of Becca's for many years. She is an outstanding medical professional. I would not consider ever going anywhere else. She is the absolute best. She always takes care of my needs. She listens to my medical needs and her treatment plans are effective. I would highly recommend this location and the providers. They are all caring, knowledgeable medical professionals.

The staff really needs to let walk-ins know that there might be a longer wait ... I was told the doctor would be right with me ... an hour later I walked out, it took them another 20 minutes to call me (I'm assuming noticing finally that I wasn't in the exam room). If there is only one physician they shouldn't be taking walk-ins. I can only assume that they are too busy and that they won't miss me as a patient from this point

Absolutely terrible experience both times. Dr. Davis had me crying in my car after leaving because I felt like I couldn't even explain myself. She is very rude and short. Has no bedside manners. Unfortunately I immidietly switched Drs today. People don't want a doctor to make you feel worse than you already do. Which is why we are there in the first place. Front desk staff was nice, but Dr. Davis truly ruined it.

AFD Clinics has long been a great place to visit for quality medical care without the hassle of a traditional clinic. The Walk in clinic makes it easier to go to the doctor and they always work with me and my insurance so I've been very pleased in the past. The doctors and staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I recent went in for my Allergy Shots. Thanks Dr. Sam and staff for the quality care!

Dr. Sam is knowledgeable, always enthusiastic and has a patient centered practice environment. It is rare to find a primary care provider who will take the time to counsel you on behaviors that promote health and prevent disease! He explains lab results in detail and ensures he addressed each concern before letting you go. He works hard to make health care accessible and responds to emails very fast!

Clinics are good and walk-ins are always welcome, Dr Steve is fantastic he takes interest not just in your current medical situation but his medical advices will definitely benefit anyone in longer term. One basic but very effective thing is at your annual check ups they do your tests first and then you see the doctor so you can discuss your situations based on lab reports.

America's Family Doctors is fantastic! They use state of the art technology and they are able to perform X-rays and several other tests onsite. AFD Clinics is flexible enough to get our family in at the last minute and even on Sunday mornings if needed. We are very fortunate to know Dr. Sam and his staff and we have been using them consistently for the last 5 years.

Dr. Sam/Samudrala has been fantastic everytime I've visited! I showed up on the wrong day and he accommodated me even though my appointment wasn't scheduled. He has provided sound advice, helped me lower my blood pressure, his bedside manner is perfect and he is extremely friendly. I will keep coming back which is hopefully only oncer per year. :-D

I completed my first rotation for FNP clinicals at America's Family Doctors. I completed my hours with Dr. Sam and Angeline and had a wonderful experience! Dr. Sam and Angeline are both amazing providers as well as great mentors. They both care so much about their patients as well as their interns. The staff are so nice and always welcoming!

I highly recommend the Brentwood AFD clinic for all your healthcare needs. You will not be disappointed. They provide excellent services and are very knowledgeable and caring. Easy to get in for physicals, urgent care and wellness needs. A great choice for anyone who cares about their health and wants to have a doctor that cares about them.

Doctor Sam and all staff members including those who checked me in, took my vitals, reviewed my medicine needs, and examined me were professional, courteous, and exhibited positive attitudes. I have been involved in workers' compensation for 20 years, and I have never seen a better walk in clinic for illness or an on the job injury than AFD. Dr. Sam and his staff know exactly what needs to be done with each patient and do it in a timely and professional manner. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to go anywhere else.

Terrible! Do not go there. Call me to tell me one of there employees tested positive for the flu and they were closing early. Asked me to come in an hour and half early for my appointment to just have me wait the hour and half in the waiting room. Very unclean, always rushing and never one time.

I was in the Brentwood area and did not feel well and went to AFD clinic. The process of being a walk in was great. The front desk was friendly and helpful and the wait time was not bad at all for a walk in clinic. I was seen and given great medical attention and care. I would recommend them!

Excellent care at AFD! I've noticed the providers take much care in their patients and follow up on both medical and personal matters. The student Nurse Practitioner Ashley, and Dr. Sam, are both excellent!

I have only had good experiences here. I used them as an urgent care first, and they were able to fit me in same-day for an emergency. They are now my PCP and have helped me with meds and overall health.
