Disgusting place my cat was sent there diagnosed with kidney stones and they treated him In every wrong way and when they kept my cat there (Benji) for a day he caught micro-plasmic bacteria that fed on white blood cells that destroyed his immune system and killed him yesterday neither him or my family deserved any if this and he died a horrible death because some doctors cannot do simple hygiene Pardon me for getting mixed up between kidney and bladder stones but you are very well aware that I’m 16 and I mix things up sometimes. First of all we were not treating him at 4 different clinics, we only went to one other clinic for a second opinion and to run additional tests, he did not receive any treatments or took other medications there, so I doubt that doing that interfered with your treatment. But our issue wasn’t just with your course of treatment it was also because of the lack of hygiene of the place. My cat stayed for 5 days at your clinic and when we took him back he had ticks and flees on him, which caused another infection that worsened his case and inevitably killed him. Also the way your clinic handled my cat was inhumane. My cat had stopped eating and to force him to eat your doctors pulled at his chin hair so hard that it created a huge bald spot on his chin and chest. In what way was that even necessary? Not to mention the fees we payed (which we had no issue in, we just wanted him to get better) Your clinic insisted on my cat staying the first time your recommended it and I refused yet you charged me boarding fees. The overall charge for 10 days of treatment at your clinic costed me more that 16,000 EGP and all we got was a sicker cat. We did not receive our cat in a fair condition at all and if you classify our cats condition at the time as fair then you’re not as great doctors as you might think.

Horrible place. Not reccomended if you have a sick pet. My pet cat had a foreign object stuck in its intestines, and after two x-rays they made the vast decision of performing a surgery, which costs a tremendous amount of 5000! Whereas in other vet centers it costed a maximum value of 2800. X-rays were 300 for 1 shot whereas in other veterinarian centers its only 100~150. They just extort money. Not to mention the unsanitized equiments, they literally have alcohol placed inside a spray container (the one for the hair). They handled my cat in a very trauamatizing way and were not wearing any gloves. After asking them if all surgery equipment are available they confirmed it only to find that they did not have a shaving equiment to shave off the cat's hair. Not only that, but they also wounded my cat and when I told them to go easy, they said "its fine, he will be cut anyways during the surgery" such rude and unprofessional staff. I refused to perform the surgery and went to another trusted vet center, where they said that the surgery is not needed critically, and we would need to wait atleast 12 hours to see if the foreign object has moved, and the object indeed has moved after 12 hours, which shows AVC's vets unprofessionalism. All the positive reviews here are false and 100% staged, because I did not find 1 single review to be true when I visited.

I had a bad experience with this place. I think that the reviews in this place are suspect. The workers’ attitude wasn’t good at all and they shaved my cat with a surgery blade causing a lot of skin injuries, because they didn’t have a shaving blade!! I went there late at night for an urgent case where my cat swallowed a foreign material. They did some check-ups and then started to shave him and prepared for surgery. I think that any beginner specialist knows that this is not the procedure in this case!! He might be dead now to a reason of un qualified and un professional place like this And after all of this, they charged me for 1300! Update 1 replying at place comment: So it must shave a cat with a surgery razor rather than a normal shaving razor like all other professional vets?!!! Sorry for energy??? Really your Doctors made a unprofessional decisionS that will put my cat at a big risk and you reply with sorry for bad energy like it is a house party or something, reallllllyyyy!!!!!! My detailed review will be on Facebook and you will be exposed, such a bad vets like yours shouldn't exist.

Worst experience ever. No compassion with pet parents whom their pets have just passed away hours ago and are already frustrated. Just "business" people nothing else! Never ever going back again! Replying: first of all, it was our dog not a "cat", AND he was our family dog not a rescue case. So please before you reply to your reviews, make sure you're aware of the case stated!! By the way, he has already passed away, we just brought him to bury him, which was a very anxious experience with you.

Not sure why the reviews were mainly positive, the night staff were horrible, we had a cat that was throwing up and the first thing they said that it should shave and they started shaving it and preparing it for operation. Then to be sure they did an unconclusive xray and proceeded with the preparations, we had to stop them and pay the very expensive 1400 pounds xray and visit funds. We then got to another hospital in madinet nasr that saved the cat with a simple stomach pumping procedure.

American vet centre is one of the closest place to my heart..professional doctors, top notch care, extremely empathatic and compassionate human beings..Their love for animals is something truly heart warming. Dr shimaa is one of the kindest, most qualified vets I've ever met. It's always a pleasure visiting her and the team. Strongly recommend going there.

Unprofessional place, my relatives went with their dog and they were very harsh on him. I took him to a different dr that saved him and i have pics to show how horrible the dog looked but google wont allow me to post them. SO SO UNPROFESSIONAL hasben allah we n3ma wakel DONT EVER GO THERE

They wouldn't let me decide what time can i get there ,i called at 6am my cat wasn't feeling well at all ,so they told me you either come at( 6:30am) or after (10:30 am) and i simply could make it at 6:30 and couldn't wait till 10 am, i begged for 7 am, they said forget it.

Couldn’t ask for a better place for my pet! They saved my cats several times as they are having an emergency service 24/7. Staff are also very friendly, professional and helpful. Especially Dr.Wahid & Dr.Atta. The true meaning of life savers.

Its a great place offers all healthcare for animals and if you can't find a place to keep your pet for a few days this place is perfect for your pet's comfort and rest and well being I would reccomend it

Highway robbery Clinic !!! Just got charged 250 to look at a stray cat was hit by car they did absolutely nothing to the poor cat and she passed away, and they wanted to charge 600 to bury the body !!

horribly unhygienic, the good reviews are probably bots typing it bc there’s no way in hell that these so called “veterinarians” are human in any type of way. i don’t recommend taking any pets there

I went to get my cat's hair shaved, they told me to go for an hour and come back. Her skin was harmed from the razor and THEY SHAVED OFF HER WHISKERS WHICH CAN'T HAPPEN

Really helped me with my Pet bird as he was in a late stage of sickness, but with their help he got better. The service itself was excellent and i would recommend it

Personnel is very fine but clinic is very expensive and don't make any gest for rescue cases unlike many other in Zamalek for instance.

Would not recommend this place for anyone trying to actually solve their pet’s health problems. Highly unprofessional establishment.
