"Recently, one of the Indian guys with short hair who works the night shift there, scrutinised me for having stopped there on two consecutive days to buy fuel! (I share a car with the owner of it, who expects me to fill it up each time I use it"
"There's no better petrol in all of Hobart"
"Unacceptable customer service ever I had"
"Oh boy, did these guys mess up the newly designed Ampol! Most cars fill up on the left"
"Friendly staff and somewhat convenient, however there was a severe lack of space here - couldn't even fit 2 cars beside each other at the pumps, needed to wait for the other car to go before I could fill up"
Recently, one of the Indian guys with short hair who works the night shift there, scrutinised me for having stopped there on two consecutive days to buy fuel! (I share a car with the owner of it, who expects me to fill it up each time I use it.) The guy asked me if I was a local and how far I drive. In all the years I have been driving, I have never been asked that before by a service station attendant. Who does he think he is? - A university student doing a master's thesis on time management and economics? Secondly, around 2 to 3 years ago, the older white guy who then worked there some evenings, he once laughed at me because he knew I only purchased a small amount of fuel on one occasion. Seriously, how petty, trivial and judgemental.
There's no better petrol in all of Hobart. It makes my car go! Sometimes I buy cheap milk here too, or use the ATM to get cash. Not once has this petrol station failed me in any of these quests. The people who work there have always been friendly and polite. There is only one reason I have not given give stars: it is a petrol station, and it is my firm belief that no petrol station can provide a five star experience.
Unacceptable customer service ever I had. Rude & racism with high tone harsh words. Discrimination for Asians specially by Customers assistant name Simon. He Shouldn’t be in customer service roll as my 10 year experience in retail. Store manager and owner of this business, please careful with these kind things. This’s 2019.. not 1960...
Oh boy, did these guys mess up the newly designed Ampol! Most cars fill up on the left. Most cars enter this station from the South, off of Macquarie Street, right? Of the 6 pumps, only 2 are now convenient for left side filling, the most common scenario. Bit of a mistake. I think this will cost them.
Friendly staff and somewhat convenient, however there was a severe lack of space here - couldn't even fit 2 cars beside each other at the pumps, needed to wait for the other car to go before I could fill up. Also pretty bad to get out of, during busy times of day.
A 24 hour/7 days a week store/servo with a Hungry Jacks attached next door (run separately w/ it's own hours of business). It's incredibly useful for those items you forgot during the day or you need those certain items at 3:00. Well situated too.
If you don't mind Caltex fuel, this is the place to grab it! Even if you think Caltext fuel is a bit second-rate, you still should come and experience the "hands-on" service here - pretty old school. In a good way.
This is a petrol station, sells stuff like any other one does. Its handy being on the corner with Hungry Jacks next to it, gererally is stacked for a petrol station.
1$coffes ,tea's, hot milk,..absolutely great coffee at a awesome price... Egg ,bacon rolls are too die for...Good price all round.. Staff Are Amozion...
Love their cheap coffee and specials. The staff are friendly as well. Has toilets and parking but remember to get into the left hand lane on Davies st.
There is always coffee machine is in out of order everyday and night.am wasting my time always stopping here for an coffee. …
it's a servo, much like others. Staff are friendly. Air hose is kept at the counter, which is a pain when you're in hurry.
Convenient location and facilities, and they had my favourite ice creams to enjoy while the family used the rest rooms.
Walked through the store and all I could hear was a caltex employee verbally abusing another employee. Not a good look.
Usually cheaper fuel but no longer have 95 ULP. Self-serve, very limited service and small range of products in shop.
One thing I can say, love this place, specially because of coffee... YUMMY! Of course I use to full petrol as well.
The new renovation is great, and this is a very convenient location for me coming into the city from Kingston.
Never really got the full drop on fuel prices. Excessively more expensive than other fuel in the area.
Great fuel stop. No issues on our visit. Filled up the hired car here. No long queues or wait times.
My favourite city service station great service and handy if you are in the area or passing through
They've got the basics covered, like there's fuel... And food! And other service station things...
Just your standard run of the mill service station , nothing out of the ordinary with the foodary
First time I used this petrol station the guy name Raza was very friendly, helpful and polite.
Convenient service station and convenience shop near the start of the Mcquarrie St one way

Great service station as it's an easy position to get fuel and it is very clean
Poor customer service and customer mistreated behaviour from some employees.

Unprofessional staff, not helpful in any regard for uber drivers.
