This is the greatest escape room my husband and I ever did. The immersion was incredible, the actors were lovely, the story was great. We've done escape rooms in a couple countries, and this blew everything out of the water. Scared the piss outta me, my husband was my hero the whole time. You get how much you put in and it made his birthday awesome. Thank you to the two lads running it, very funny and entertaining, he enjoyed so much of the dialogue and going back and forth. My husband says "so so so impressive, can't speak higher. Wasn't even an escape room, was something else"

Absolutely great experience! I have already played high quality escape rooms all over europe and loved it! We've played the game as a team of two and enjoyed it a lot! The actors, the atmosphere in the room, everything was absolutely great. I can really recommend the Amsterdam catacombs to everyone who enjoys horror escape room experiences. If you dont know yet if escape rooms like that are something for you, the puzzles are not too difficult to solve and therefore it is very beginner friendly I would say. (Although at some point I was so scared that I wasnt able to think at all, but that might just have been because we were only two)

As an avid escape room player this has to be one of the best. The puzzles were designed really well, having the right balance between challenging and making sense while not being impossible. The organisers were amazing, professional and passionate. They were great at creating an atmosphere and sensitive to giving little hints if needed. This was also one of the most scary things I’ve ever done! There was so much tension and the story, visuals, location and acting all contributed to this terrifying but awesome experience!

Oh my god. Incredible. Absolutely amazing. My friend and I weren’t sure what to expect considering the price and the fact it was only 2 of us to complete the experience but this exceeded both of our expectations in the best way. It was frightening, immersive, and above all very fun! Would recommend to anyone who enjoys getting into the story while completing escape rooms because that was probably the best part of this. There were clever puzzles in addition to great immersion, making you never want it to end. 5/5

Excellent escape room edition a short walking distance from Amsterdam Central station (you could also take bus 22 which drops you nearby). The church is beautiful with lovely painted windows and they have vintage/ artisans market inside where you can buy jewellery, rugs etc. The escape room is right next to the cathedral and very well organised. Remember to wear comfortable clothing be warned that it's not for claustrophobic folks. And of course you can't take photos or videos inside or you'll spoil the mystery of the escape room so be prepared to leave belongings behind (they'll be safe).

A must for any horror fan out there (worth it even if you aren't and tolerate a scare). A superb immersive experience that is extremely well executed. I don't want to give anything away because the experience needs to be lived but know that the price is absolutely worth it and the more you roleplay and get into the experience the more you'll get out of it. This horror-themed escape room was one of the best I've experienced! The puzzles were challenging and kept us on the edge of our seats the entire time. The staff's acting was phenomenal and added an extra level of immersion to the experience. The acting is really good. Quite immersive. This escape room has a good narrative, unlike most escape rooms we have done. Really trying hard in this review to not give anything away so I will simplify it by saying there were 3 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Not necessary, but try to get into character somewhat. This particular escape room is complimented by your interaction with actors and each other more than other escape rooms I've done.

The whole experience was amazing. Obviously, I am not going to spoil it here. Only things I can say is that I am really impressed at the very good work, cure of details, and acting from the hosts. The location for the catacombs scenario is perfect, the adventure you live is memorable. I hope you can find the courage you need to make it to the end!

Right off the bat you start getting chills as the room is located inside the basement of an old church. The story is captivating and the talented operators do a tremendous job. My partner and I legit felt scared at times. The riddles were challenging, this may have been the hardest room i've done. World class room, full respect!

This isn’t your grandmas escape room. It’s an experience like no other. Hands down the best experience I had in Amsterdam. I’m almost at a loss for words on how completely awesome this was. Completely immersive and the actors were top notch. If you are thinking about doing this, stop thinking about it and just do it.

We did some escaperooms before but this one is the best so far. The actors create from the start a good creepy atmospheer like you expect from a horror escaperoom. The puzzles were really fun to do. Not to easy and also not TO difficult. The location is great ofcourse under an old church . We really enjoyed.

This was the best escape room I had ever been to. I truly wish it wasn’t my first ever escape room because it honestly ruined every other experience I’ve had since then it was produced so well and the actors are great. By far the best escape room I’ve ever been to. I’m not sure that you can even call it an escape room because it was so much more than that. 90 minutes in a fully immersive haunted world with really dedicated live actors. Just book it!

Perfect fun, we made this as a team build with colleagues. It was a fantastic experience in a special atmosphere. The actors did more than professional job. It was my first escape room but colleagues who did it second or third time said this was the best ever. Thank you for a wonderful time in your catacombs.

Fantastic experience. Fully immersive and story driven Escape Room. The actors are excellent and they combined with the setting and constantly moving narrative really create a realistic and scary/horror atmosphere. Definitely worth the money and one of the highest quality escape room experiences I’ve tried!

Great experience, I wouldn't say the puzzles that need to be solved are clear, It felt like we were just using luck to get through it. But the staff, the decor and vibe made the overall experience enjoyable.

I've done about 10 escape rooms so far and this one is by far the best. Incredibly funny and scary memories were made, and with a fantastic souvenir at the end. Great puzzles and effects too!

Such a fun experience! It's massive compared to other escape rooms, and our actor was soooooooo good. Definitely a must do and so convenient if you're visiting Amsterdam.
