My husband booked in for a road worthy and was told he had to spend in excess of $1700 to replace parts then told him he couldn't do the work for over a week. He promised to sign off on the roadworthy if he went somewhere else to do the repairs and then said he couldn't do it even though my husband rang days ahead of time. Forced to go to another mechanic for a whole new road worthy we found that one of the parts didn't even need replacing which saved us over $600! I wouldn't trust this guy with repairs, when he says parts need replacing, best to get a second opinion. Very disappointing- he either doesn't know cars well enough to know when parts actually need replacing or he is after a quick buck at the customer's expense. Even Andrews Auto response is dishonest and inaccurate! PLEASE be careful! My husband did not request the road worthy to be signed off after hours on a Friday. He gave them 2-3 days notice and wanted to drop in during his lunch break to have it signed off as promised. Instead he just took our $200 for the road worthy and didnt finish what he started.. There is no quality of service here. Only use them if desperate and make sure you know cars because they will rip you off. They can't even be honest when responding to a review why trust them with your car? Run!! The only "point of difference" they provide is replacing parts that don't need to be replaced.

Purchased a unregistered Holden Barina and needed a reliable and honest mechanic to do a roadworthy and some repairs as needed. Couple of friends who live in the Pakenham area recommended Andrews Autos, so i made the call and booked it in. Once the initial inspection was completed, Andrew called and clearly explained what was required to complete the roadworthly and the cost. The repairs were completed in a timely manner in which case there were a few additional items i also asked to be attended to including replacing the radiator (a timely job as the front bumper has to be remove to access and remove the radiator). Apon picking the car up all repairs were explained and the invoice itemised to explain labour and parts, my daughters barina is a great reliable car and i don't have to be worried about it breaking down. I'd like to thank Andrew, Scott and the team at Andrews Autos, i'll definately be coming back. Thanks Again.++++++

I have been going to this business for over a decade the last two times I have been majorly over charged and have requested the last two occasions if the bill would cost more than a standard service to advise me of the cost and to discuss options. Instead the work was completed and stung me $1000 more than expected when there were cheaper options available and there was zero negotiation for paymemt options. This has only happend since the business has changed ownership. I won't be going back them again instead will find another mechanic that values customer loyalty. Very sad. "BE AWARE OF EXTRA COST NOT ADVISED BEFORE COMPLETION OF WORK".

Car broke down on the way to Phillip Island with my DAD visiting from overseas, had it towed into the shop at 2:30pm. Store was closing that day for Xmas 2012 break, the shop bent over backwards to have my car diagnosed and fixed before 5pm. Saved me hours and hours of train rides and taxis. Absolutely the best customer service bar none , exceptional mechanical services with the right professional equipment to get the job done. Would go back anytime, 5 stars. cheers guys

I called as a damsel in distress with car troubles and Ian did not hesitate to help me. Not only did Ian go out of his way to help, he provided me with the information I needed to make a decision. I was met with genuine care and generosity to which I am truly grateful. I would recommend everyone to come see the team here! Not only that, Harvey the Shar Pei is always up for a pat. A cute dog and great service? You can't beat that.

Awesome customer service...brake mechanism failed on wheel over Xmas/New Year break...took a punt & dropped the car off New Years Day...without a call they locked away our car overnight...looked at next day knowing we had a family holiday in NSW in 2 days...sourced the required part & car running a dream & all ready for our holiday...family so grateful! Highly recommend!

Took my car here for a roadworthy certificate and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Very helpful staff, especially Ian who made sure he went out of his way to have my car ready earlier than expected. Up front about the cost and no hidden charges. All in all we will definitely be returning in the future. Wish I could give more than 5 stars

Took our car down to get a roadworthy this week. They quoted us $2600 and ready next year (1.5 weeks). Decided to go elsewhere. They charged us $180 just for looking at the car. Took the car to Springvale, will cost us $800 with full roadworthy, ready in 2 days. Only take your car here if you know a lot about cars and can call them out on their bulls*#t.

I called Ian in a desperate state & he instantly jumped to help. He was able to fix the issue in mere minutes, after another mechanic told me it would be 2 hours. He was literally my knight in “shiny armour” & he’s just gained himself some new customers! Highly recommended for his kindness as well as his incredible service.

Not very good customer service. Totally unwilling to help get my car fixed when I really needed it done in a timely manner. They did a RWC inspection...failed the car, took my money, then didn't want help do the re-inspection in time to sell my car. Don't waste lour money at this guys shop.

These guys were awesome! I've taken my car to a few other mechanics in the area that couldn't solve my problem. These guys sorted it out right away and took the time to show me what they did with each part replaced, and now my car drives better than it ever did.

With two vehicles braking down at the same time unexpectedly even though they were fully booked they helped us out with one of our cars we were extremely grateful to the team we know this would have compromised their workload a big thank you from Wendy and Ray
