"Angel is such a cool place , it's like a mini city in itself, you çan stroll along the main road all the way up to highbury islington and there is so much to see and come back to angel through the other side of the main road and still see a lot of stuff, or you can be a bit more adventurous and have a walk at the canal, you will find nice restaurants pubs and hidden gems around this area, it's such a good area to meet a friend and you haven't planned what to do or where to eat, there is plenty of choices"
"Good location of station"
"Atypical wetherspoons pricing structure is very good for it's location not a lot of garden area as you're literally on top of the street staff were overworked and underpaid as most wetherspoons the beer selection is also typical of a wetherspoons"
"One of the platforms is much wider than the other due to how the station was expanded several years back but whatever"
"The underground station in Angel is ok but there is too much of distance to walk inside it"

Good location of station... Close to nice night life, loads of cost little pubs near by and you have the canal not too far either... Staff can be annoying though, i use a weekly travel card which every so often the magnetic strip on the card doesnt work and i need the staff to open the gates. Unfortunately they dont pay attention and sit chatting between themselves, when you finally get their attention they are annoyed that youve asked...
Atypical wetherspoons pricing structure is very good for it's location not a lot of garden area as you're literally on top of the street staff were overworked and underpaid as most wetherspoons the beer selection is also typical of a wetherspoons. There are probably better bars in the area but you will pay the price , a massive advantage to this is it is literally a stones throw from the tube.
One of the platforms is much wider than the other due to how the station was expanded several years back but whatever. Average tube station just to the east of the Kings Cross area. No step free access instead relying on a couple of escalators up to the ticket office. Lots of local buses stop outside the station and it's not too far from the University of London as well.
The underground station in Angel is ok but there is too much of distance to walk inside it. I wish that i could have a helicopter to transport me from the station to the outside street. I did make this suggestion once to one of the worker there but he just laughed hysterically telling me that he could't possible talk about this as he was off to the zoo.
I like the angel sculpture by Kevin Boys near the ticket hall, it really stands out and represent the area. I really like how huge it is underground with the southbound platform being rediculously spacious than other platforms along with experiencing the longest escalator on the underground.
Older man with the glasses should get trained on the system and how to deal with customers politely. He incorrectly suggested I couldn’t connect a registered oyster to a railcard. Then proceeded to take me to a manager who sorted the issue immediately. Unfriendly and unprofessional
I have visited this great place a few weeks ago just after an intensive yoga session. I had a big plate with a tasty pancakes with a fruits and cream. No regrets. I love the food and interior and service, which was relaxed and friendly. It is all I need it on day off.
Iceland is a great place for frozen foods and other food surprises. It's for everyone and always welcoming at all times. It has is own uniqueness that set it apart from other Supermarkets. I love shopping in any of their branches and their food is affordable for all.
So, a quick Google reveals that Angel station's escalators are not the longest in the world. Not event the longest in the UK. The are the longest on the London Underground though. The platforms are nice and large and generally the station doesn't feel overly busy.
The escalator is quite long. It's a long way to look up or down. However, continue to stand to the right as the left side is for people walking. I enjoy how big it is underground, with the platform being large. The station is nice, and the staff was kind.
always 5 ,It's great station and just walking distance from King's Cross and lots of services around,Angel is a London Underground station in the Angel area of the London Borough of Islington. It is on the Bank branch of the Northern line,
The Angelic is a little on the pricey side and perhaps a teeny bit pretentious but you kind of expect that if you're hanging out in Islington, and I keep going back so they must be doing something right. The ornate decor, with its Sistine
Very nice location near to lot of eating places and shops. Only northern line serve this station. The platform are quite wide as compared to many other underground stations. They also have one of the longest escalator.
A great underground station in my eyes. It is conveniently close to my university, and I love the 'thought of the day' posts shown in the entrance. The extensive platform on the southbound route is very nice as well!
must see is the daily market some great little buys, nice local cinema and park about a 20 minute walk away there is also a local mcdonalds with small play area. A nice day out in Angel for the whole family
Disgusting place it needs a refurbishment Staff are rude not helpfull. I herd a member of staff tell a wheelchair user what do you want me to do let to walk then. Out of order should be sacked
Wetherspoon’s Angel, food came cold, although tried to pay on line had to go to bar, then just finished food when saw two mice. We left without finishing drinks, reported it to manager
Long escalator is the reason I went here and it is... Lookin up or down is a long way, one of very few places people hardly walk on the escalator... Still stand on the right though!
Not particularly cheap, but not unreasonably expensive. This is a nice pub with a good selection of food, friendly staff and an airy space without it feeling too empty. Recommended.
Small station. Good location on High Street full of shops and cafés. I used to work around here. The station is always very busy and crowded but they manage well
This station isn't new, but if you're looking for a bargain that'll get you from A-B it's still got plenty of years left in it. No test pilots please
Greatly peaceful place with progressive life ,. Welcoming all the diverse people families and children of the world ️ …
The best escalator in London! Could have been higher if their original plans happened, but I won't hold it against the current station.
It was strange at first, I walked down Goswell road, via Angel tube, to that brutal high rise " Turnpike House" I remembered 20yrs ago.
The longest elevator ever. Avoid giving change to people waiting for money outside or they will come to you in few of them.
there were lots of mediocre parks and my husband divorced me on the escalator. the pancakes were fine
A great station, always a good "thought of the day" written at the entrance. Very long escalator!
I Found a Devil at Angel Tube Station Her name was Puffball and She is Gonna Haunt You Forever
Don't miss reading the white board in the entrance. The staff have a great sense of humour.
I love it when they have a daily whimsical quote by the entrance. Usually makes me laugh!
I have used this station for many years helpful friendly staff the station usually tidy
Takes you from north to south on the Northern Line Bank Branch. Exactly as advertised.
Iconic for English neighbourhood in London. Love Camden Road with flee Market.❤❤❤
Great station and home of the longest escalator on the Underground network.
Incredibly busy all day long, but the long escalator is always interesting
Always closed at anytime & any day even though Angel is a bubbly area.
Constantly closed. Can’t hire people to keep basic service running.
Clean station, very helpful and positive staff in my experience.
Decent standard station. The south bound platform is crazy wide!
Always hot here. You can ski down the escalator (search Youtube)
It's amazing places to eat walk, shop , coffee and for more fun..
Typical wetherspoons Usually busy Central location in the Angel
