Angle Vale Primary School is an outstanding educational institution that has truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I enrolled my child, I have witnessed a dedicated team of educators and staff who are passionate about fostering a positive learning environment. The school's commitment to academic excellence is evident in the innovative teaching methods and diverse curriculum that not only educates but also inspires students. The teachers go above and beyond to ensure that each child receives personalized attention and support, nurturing their individual strengths and addressing any challenges. Beyond academics, Angle Vale Primary School places a strong emphasis on creating a sense of community. The welcoming atmosphere and various extracurricular activities contribute to a well-rounded educational experience. The school's involvement in community events and initiatives showcases its dedication to instilling values of empathy, responsibility, and community engagement in its students. The facilities are well-maintained and equipped with the latest technology, providing students with a conducive learning environment. Communication between the school and parents is excellent, with regular updates, newsletters, and opportunities for parental involvement. I am grateful for the positive impact Angle Vale Primary School has had on my child's education and personal growth. I highly recommend this school to any parent seeking a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for their child.
School is not accommodating of disabled parents. They won't give a pass for the staff car park to a parent who is disabled and in a wheelchair, expects the mother to wheel her wheelchair on the main road get her toddler out of the car, and have their toddler sit on their lap and wheel towards oncoming traffic to access the uphill ramp to then try and wheel herself up, thats IF a car isn't blocking it, otherwise having to wait out on the road till the car moves, and then try and make their way up hill into the school. They are discriminating her, and lack any compassion. Previous leadership gave the mum a pass to access the disabled parking closer to classrooms but since new fencing they don't care and would rather this disabled mum put their life and their toddlers life in danger by being stuck out on the road using the front disabled parking which has no easy access to the school in peak hour pick up and drop off. Disgusting. If you are a disabled parent stay clear from this school. They should be ashamed of themselves.
School can't even keep a principle. Sharon Rich was the best thing that happened to AVPS she always dealt with bullying and nipped it in the butt. Since her leaving bullying is back to its BS ways of not being dealt with properly. A student being bullied by someone smaller must mean the larger kid did something first. Which is a joke. Staff haven't dealt with it, made the victim draw a Sorry card to their bully and lied about other students. Can't even have a meeting with the principle as the acting Vice Principle comes in with hackles up and lies even infront of students. When commenting about Sharon Rich being the best thing for the school the Acting Vice Principle scoffed. Shows their mentality. Don't send your children there to be subjected to bullying by staff.
I haven’t been there since 2018 but Sharon rich was the best thing that happened to the school. One of friends from the past who went there once fell or got pushed out of a tree by the fence of the school, they didn’t even block the tree up after the incident happened idk if they have now or not but she hurt got hurt pretty badly. Some teachers were good and most of the time retrieved balls that went over the fence. My brother lost his bag while he was there as well and they didn’t even care that he lost it he had to find it himself and even when my mum went to office to talk about it all they said was “ sorry we can’t help finding it we have jobs to do” which pissed my mum off.
I personally dislike how people talk about this school as this school has great teachers and has great programs for kids there is no bullying so come on join our school. by year six student
