I had the most unprofessional and callously rude experience from an attorney, Raquel Gross, I spoke to by phone in a consultation. She listened to my story at first but immediately came to the conclusion that my story doesn't fit their criteria. I had a few questions as to why she feels that way, and maybe I didn't offer some information that she needed to hear, but she flat out refused to even speak to me any longer. I was perfectly nice and polite, as I always am, when she suddenly became aggressive and rude. I was only trying to ask if she could could give me an example of what I would need to make this a prospective case, and she proceeded to aggressively state to me, "Oh let me just go ahead and tell you that we are not going to dive into hypothetical, and what ifs, we don't work like that here. We are not going to take your case." She then hung up the phone call while I was in mid sentence. I wasn't even given the dignity of sympathy for what I had experienced, which is why I called. She treated me like I wasn't worth her time, her expertise nor compassion. Sure, she is not my friend, but she is supposed to be a professional who works with the law to find monetary settlements for those who are suffering, injured and in need. She treated me unlike I've been treated by a purported professional over the phone. I expect that from kids working in grocery stores, not full grown adults that have passed the bar. I did not expect her to take my case. I did, however, expect her to talk to me like a person with a reasonable amount of respect and dignity. She failed on that, and verbally abused a person who is suffering in pain possibly due to the topic of discussion, medical malpractice. No one should ever be treated like that by anyone at this or any law firm. This should be reported as predatory behavior and discrimination towards vulnerable persons. Just to expand on the review: The person who answered the phone after speaking to the front desk introduced herself as Raquel Gross. Maybe as a professional firm, the people who reach out to you should be made fully aware of whom they are speaking. I tried to ask for her name, but she hung up on me twice. I only called back to thank her for her time because it is what decent people with tact do. I am sure you guys run a fabulous law firm and make tons of money for people, especially for yourselves, but that doesn't give anyone the right to treat people the way I was treated. The person said their name was Raquel, so I don't know what you want me to believe here. She was disgustingly rude and was so abrasively offensive that I felt the need to make sure people were aware. Regardless of who answered the phone according to you, I still need to make sure that your firm knows how this person who represents your firm treated a fellow human being who is suffering and in pain. That is not ok.

Workmans Comp After suffering a catastrophic injury at work that left me paralyzed from the waist down, our families life was turned upside down. Did we know what direction to go? NO. He educated us along the way countless times no matter how redundant our questions probably seemed to him. Not only does he keep in constant contact with you, he also checks in to make sure there aren't any questions or concerns. He always returns phone calls, emails or texts. He and his partner Anita Decarlo are very humble, professional and know the law inside and out. I highly recommend Howard Ankin and his firm. A bit of advice for someone who has had a catastrophic injury at work, call Howard Ankin, understand things aren't going to be as they were, take advantage of your rehabilitation, learn patience and your new normal and finally let Howard do what he is good at.

Good luck. I have been waiting for a response from the attorney on my case for months. I’m not sure why he, nor his assistant, are able to get in contact with me. They give me the run around. At this point I feel like I should have gone with another attorney. My physical therapist even suggested this when he first heard which law firm I was working with. That can’t be good. I even tried to reach out to other people inside the firm. I’ve gotten voicemails without a prompt response. If you can find a smaller firm that takes their time to care and empathize with their clients that would be my suggestion. It’s already difficult enough trying to navigate life after an injury. Even more so when the attorney you expect to represent your best interest won’t even return phone calls or emails. In addition to that, does not keep me abreast of the goings on of my case.

Yes I wanted to do a review on this I live in another state and by my state law these companies have to pay minimum wage for the lawyer I talked to on the phone yesterday and I also did talk to the US DOL and my state DOL and they suggest I get a lawyer and sue I don't make that much I am sorry making for 3 months altogether $323 doing surveys for a living is not enough and the lawyer said as long as there paying me something No by state law which I happen to live in Indiana those companies had to pay by minimum wage. The lawyers in my state also know that's what there suppose to do I went ahead and found a good lawyer here and there taking care of this issue of your caseloads are down then quit telling people on the phone they basically don't have a case and they do legal malpractice think about that.

If I could give zero stars, I would I may get a call back because this review thats the only time I get a call back from this law firm I had I don’t know how many lawyers on my case or been switched up with this law firm too many times, don’t return calls you have to do all the legwork the last time I heard something was the beginning of the year they told me they will call me back in February. We are going on December. I have called them due to no returns and this was a Workmen’s Comp. case from two years ago as a funny party is the first review that I made. I got a call back about that one. Ask him to change my review but now I can’t get no return calls. I preferred you to drop my case so I could’ve went to somebody else, not prolonged me.

While my case has not been settled I am beyond satisfied with how I’ve been treated by Ankin Law. I was involved in an auto accident and was terrified when I was injured. I did not have health insurance and wasn’t sure what to do. They found me a great place to do physical therapy. Anytime I want to call them to get an update I always get someone right away or have to wait a little bit. Totally understandable for a law firm. So glad I chose them to represent me. I still got bills from PT, AFTER my case was settled!! This office is a joke. My attorney was John Powers. Hardly spoke to him. I will NEVER call them again or refer them to ANYONE unless they're my frenemy. I still OWE about $500 from bills THEY were supposed to make sure debts resulting from injury got paid off BEFORE my claim was settled. How hard is that to do? Call all my doctors offices, then get outstanding amounts still owed. I gave them a list of their names. Work injuries are hard enough to go through without worrying that your attorney isn't going to stab you in the back. Hope you all enjoyed your vacation that my settlement paid for.

This is a very good law firm. Being represented by them in a worker’s comp & personal injury case. If there are any issues with dealing with worker’s comp sending benefits payments they stay on them and make sure that you’re receiving your benefits. Mr.Goldstein and his assistant Alex Quigley are amazing. I am very disappointed with this law firm. It has been several months, weeks days that I've been waiting for someone to contact me back. No one have contacted me. I sent emails I left messages. No one has contacted me every time I call no one is ever available. I understand I'm not the only client but at this point this is ridiculous. I have sign documents to close my case and have not yet received a my settlement. That's was over a month ago. With my experience I will not recommend this firm. The commercials will try to convince you otherwise, but it's a NO go for me.

Helpful. I feel like they took care of business effectively. I didn't feel stressed about my case. They made sure I didn't pay a single cent towards doctor's visits or physical therapy. They made sure my temporary disability payments came through quickly. I didn't even need to talk to my job's workers comp department. I gave them my lawyer's contact info and my lawyer took care of everything. They manged to get me quite a decent amount of money with the settlement amount, too. If someone I knew of had a worker's comp case, I would send them to this law firm.
