An honest review from a founding member of AF Cikini who have been regularly exercise for 5-6x/week since it opened. This gym is definitely beginner friendly and less crowded! I can say I’m an intermediate gym worm and since the equipment rather new, there are tons of beginner who are rather unfamiliar with how the machine works. I tried my best to help people with it, BUT here comes the minus part: THE PT. Typical Indonesian PT who stares cynically at you if you’re NOT THEIR CLIENT nor you’re trying to help people or your OWN FRIEND to train. Since they will think you’re going to steal their job and gives professional sesh. Ugh, how hypocritical of them to support “people” to get healthy but apparently it only applies for their clients. Lol. Also, there’s a chance for them to just steal your weight or your machine right away without asking you first HAHA. I don’t want to throw name, but the best one so far is kak Kintan. She’s really nice even with people who’s not her client. Kudos for her. Next, great point about this gym it’s open 24/7. You can be bored 3 in the morning and go to the gym. The night owl might be there and they’re super nice! One time I left my toiletries and they kept it super safe they are definitely the most helpful staff here. Last but not least, this is a neutral point for me since I don’t really mind it. But some people might get uncomfortable with the locker (since you need to bring your own lock) and the fact that there are only 2 bathrooms available, even the male ones were broken last week (and it’s not their grand opening yet ) So yeah, pardon my sandwich evaluations method. Might be confusing but I tried not to be negative on this one, you can definitely decide to go here or not. But, I personally still enjoy going here since it’s less crowded than other gym nearby. Location wise, this branch is very ok! I find myself oftenly go here, rather than other locations. I guess as member we all agree the place is less crowded than other clubs nearby. The equipments are the best and the cleanliness is ok. I love all of their classes. Truly good and enjoyable at all (thanks to the instructors, especially for Body Combat and Zumba class! I can say you're not just good showing us how to move but you guys also have skill to lift up our spirit in exercising!!!). From the staff side, I find the brand ambassador (I forget the name, but the one woman with hijab but not Windy) quite helpful when I'm asking several things related with program and pricing. There also nice PTs (Kak Kintan & Kak Ray) whom I think willing to help, kind and informative to other members (regardless its their client or not). The cleaning staffs also responsive many times I asked for refilling the soap in the bathroom. They're very quick. Ok now for the things I dislike...1) repairment of the bathroom took some times and it was kinda uncomfortable to share bathroom with men. Hopefully next time if there is anything broken can be fixed in a short-time, 2) this is personal as i just experiencing one little incident that make me think this one female PT sounds unpolite and unfriendly by asking me to get up because her client wants to sit (in area near the receiptionist)...when there are two chairs (basically her client could sit in the chair next to me, without asking me not to sit right?). Hahaha but nevermind laa (just my personal note that I wouldn't pay for PT program assisted by her) Overall, this club is good tho! Would recommend anyone to join here.

As gyms go it's OK. The team are badly managed and the trainers are the usual bunch. Sadly full of their own self-importance. In my 30+ years as a master trainer, internationally competitive athlete and trainer of trainers it's sad to see the poor quality of personal training here. Trainers using their phones while with a client, not really engaging with their clients, and spending half their time looking in the mirror at themselves. When their potential (as trainers) to be guides to the people making lifestyle change is a huge opportunity, and easily the basis for bigger revenue, and more success. Instead they just get by with the bare minimum. It's the same story the world over - clubs from Singapore to Sydney, London to Hong Kong. Sometimes I'd love to see people who really care more about the job they do, especially if it's going to be a career in the fitness industry that they stick with for 10, 20, 30 or 40 years. The gym is well equipped, but the bathroom lacks the basic hand washing soap, the equipment is OK, but badly arranged. It's a decent place for the money, and a good 50m swimming pool downstairs (not part of the fitness club though). I'll go again Almost 5 stars for the hardware.. less than 3 stars for the staff. I hope it can improve, it could be a great club with the right leadership and trainers that take a bit more time to take care and interest in their clients, rather than trying to be cool.

Alatnya bagus, buat latihan beban, ok , untuk kelas pergoyangan....rada kecil emang. Waktu constructing gw juga infoin bahwa ciwi ciwi cikini demen banget ama kelas pergoyangan dan butuh space luas. Loker? So so lah. Kalo gym mahal ya ngapa juga lu khawatir. Secara yang masuk juga bukan yang niat nyolong kan? Kamar mandi? Nice lah untuk space sekecil itu. Just right. Sabun dan sampo jadi masalah Ya BAWA SENDIRI. Masalahnya adalah MEMBER LAIN YANG JOROK DAN GA NGEBALIKIN ALAT KE TEMPATNYA. Udah itu aja.

Sangat kecewa...pantas saja lebih sepi dibanding branch lainnya. Pelayanan sangat buruk, sudah info sejak lama mau ajak anak untuk trial. Begitu datang baru di info kalau harus appointment dulu H-1, jadinya harus bayar 135rb. Bukan masalah nominalnya, tapi caranya benar2 menjebak. Daaann...tidak di kasih ikuitansi pembayarannya.. Belum lagi AC minim..kirain karna sebelumnya kesini siang jadi panas, ternyata malam juga panas. Yang bersihin toilet / shower room cewek, cleaner cowok.

Peralatan gym nya oke dan lengkap juga. Kamar bilas cuma 2, bikin ngantri. Dispenser sabun dan samponya seret banget gak keluar2. Ga ada tulisannya lagi yg mana sampo dan yg mana sabun hadeeh. Studionya juga kecil, jadi senggol2an. Loker gemboknya bawa sendiri, tapi kalo udah digembok masih ada beberapa loker yg tetep bisa dibuka alias slot dalamnya rusak meskipun udah digembok. Nilai plusnya adalah bisa datang kapan pun jam brp pun. Toilet pria rusak terooooossss!!

Bagi yang mau latihan pervisit disini, gaboleh bawa partner yang punya ilmu gym dan bantu spotting udah pasti dilarang. udah pasti di tegur sama pihak management nya karena disangka coaching sama professional. Bener bener di curigain sampe di liatin udah kayak pengen nyolong plates. Ini peraturan aneh banget. Udah bayar lumayan untuk latihan disini dan ga recommend samsek. Fitness club paling medit sedunia. Ogah kesini lagi.

Staf belagu. Udh jd member 4 thn di anytime. Kunci saya ilang jd beli lagi d club lain. Masuk sini ga bisa dengan alasan : 1. Suruh ganti kunci ke kunci yg baru (lah wong ini kunci baru kok) 2. Belom 30 hari kuncinya jd g boleh latian disini. Lah emg kl blm 30 hari kuncinya ga bole latian d club anytime lain? Aturan dari dengkulmu. PT sok pinter suru2 ngunci bar biar kaca g pecah. Lah lu kira wa baru kemarin nge gym

Pro: tengah kota, 24 jam mau dtg kpn aja oke, suasanya nyaman, toilet bersih, loker berfungsi baik, dispenser ready buat yg mau refill, alat2 berfungsi baik, mau ngopi atau makan setelah gym bebas pilih tenant disekitar tinggal jalan kaki. Cons: Petugasnya kurang senyum dan sapa karena hanya duduk di pintu masuk dan sibuk main HP. Mungkin itu saja yg perlu banget diperbaiki.

A clean, brand new, and well-maintained gym thats opened all day 24/7. Brand new and complete equipments, machines, cables, and power rack suitable for beginners and intermediate gym enthusiasts. Facilities include water dispenser, lockers, hot shower; and clean toilet. FYI you need to bring your own lock for the lockers.

it's like my second homegym. Its gym area is more spacious yet the aerobic area is smaller than my home gym (setiabudi1). The ambience is quite tranquil, it is much less jedag jedug than another AF I've been. What i kinda dislike is AF Cikini only got 2 washrooms and 2 toilets for each gender.

Great place to work out, its less crowded than other anytime gyms Minus 1 star because some of the weights are left on the floor and none of the staff are picking it up. There is also mixed plates at the bench press machine The rest is fine and looking forward to work out here

great machines, comfortable workout experience with no nosy people around. showers' soap dispensers and lockers need fixing for a few months now but still no fix. but i like the locker area with seatings, not every AF has that.

Great place for workout, conveniently located near busway stop, next to it is family mart and below it is kolam renang cikini Lots of equipments and amenities, shower room is clean although limited in number, friendly staffs

simple, honest, clean. all you need is well provided here. not a big gym but it equipped with modern-new machine and rack. not really crowded even on peak hour (at least when I visit around 7pm)

A little pricey but worth it w the facilities. But i’d say bring your own soap n shampoo cuz the ones they provide here is just not good. Staffs r friendly and they even remember my name
