TLDR try before you join. Con first: The handles on the machines are too big. Totally unsuitable for people of average or small hands. Pros: this is easily one of the cleanest, best ventilated, well set-up AF Gyms in Australia. Everything is new. Good vibe of people at various stages of their fitness journey. Summary: If you don't use machines, or have truly massive hands (or enjoying using half your fingers to pull) join today. If not try it first. PS excess grease on the machines causes friction throwing off weight, should be cleaned, or will self rectify in a few months. Like 99% of Gyms the owners desperately want you to listen to their music, but that's just the price of admission all over most Australia

Been here 1 month now, so decided to give an honest review. Big factor, on main road, easy to drive to, a lot of free parking spaces right beside and on the back. Good gym, lots of people at every hour. Everyone kinda polite, never left weights lying around, re-rack after complete, etc.... The staffs are very friendly and bubbly as well, though I don't interact much with them (I workout late into the night). Also saw a new cable machine yesterday, exciting!!! guess I can expect improvements and changes overtime as well. Love the tree and candy canes for Christmas as well, holiday mood yay yay!

Great gym with friendly staff and members. Usually have fruit for members which is a nice touch. It can be a bit cramped at times, like peak hours 6-8am and 5-8pm. Equipment is kept in good shape, and the gym is generally clean. Would like to see them do more frequent "deep" cleans as things like the fans can get covered in quite a bit of grimey dust. Also some simple upgrades like shelves or hooks around the gym would prevent people from leaving towels and water bottles sitting on equipment.

Update 12/11/20 Good to see the gym back to it's original state, glistening as always and well maintained by the crew! This club continues to outperform itself with the various equipment it brings to the table including the fitout that it provides for all participants. Although the gym is smaller then others, it does the job of keeping the focus on the machines and not on walking around. The machines are great and so are the people. 5/5 stars Still awsome

Great location near shops with exclusive parking on top of easy access public parking nearby. Staff are friendly and leave free fruit every day as well as the occasional free towel. Bathrooms and showers are clean and there is locker space available. Ventilation could be improved during peak hours as it gets quite stuffy, which is compounded by the proximity of the bathrooms. Only 2 power racks which get crowded easily.

Friendly staff and good atmosphere. The equipment is mostly new and there is a wide variety of machines to use given the size of the space. Always clean equipment and bathrooms. Plenty of parking. Is a bit on the small side, lacking adequate open space for stretching, etc when it is busy during peak times but does give you access to the underground carpark for circuit training, boxing and the like.

After trialing many gyms near me, this was by far the best! The staff are so welcoming, & they acknowledge everyone there & always happy to help or just have a chat. Bathrooms are always clean! And their equipment is up to date & plenty of. I even chose Anytime Fitness in Balwyn over the one in Kew which is 500m from my house. So worth it. I'm so happy :)

Friendly staff and personal trainers. Well maintained high end equipment. Change rooms always being kept in a clean condition. Two squat racks. Multiple cable machines! Complimentary group sessions for members, although I wish more people would sign up for the ones during the week. Plenty of staff/PTs and long staff hours. Overall a great experience.

Just started at Anytime in Balwyn and loving it so far. Great team running the gym. Not only does it have all the equipment you need, it's the little touches and detail for example, a communal fruit bowl for members that sets it apart from your regular gym. Peak times from 5pm-8pm gym can get a bit busy but the people are accommodating.

Only been a member for a few months but anytime fitness Balwyn is by far the best gym I have been a member of. The quality of the equipment and the layout is very convenient and well thought out. Very friendly staff and the gym is always kept in pristine condition. Great vibe and culture there is always some good tunes playing.

I've been a member for almost a year and never found a thing wrong with the gym. The gym floor, bathrooms, and equipment is always kept well maintained and clean. Staff, trainers, and other members are really friendly. I usually go around noon on weekdays and Emmanuel keeps the place up to standard. Music is awesome too.

Absolutely love this gym! Really friendly staff and they keep everything super clean! At first the gym can seem rather small compared to others in Melbourne, but their range of equipment and weights are more than enough for people looking to tone or even bulk up I highly recommend trying out this gym

Wonderful place to work out at, there's a wide range of facilities to workout on and lots of space to do so. The staff are also incredibly friendly and I feel welcomed there every time I workout in the afternoons. Feels like a safe place to go to even when dark out in the early hours of the mornings.

I'm extremely satisfied with the service. Super good customer service. I have been membership for almost a year and never have any issue. Fresh apple and banana are my favorite. The gym is well maintained by the office staff. Really enjoy the time spent there.

Bathrooms are clean. Staffs are very friendly and approachable. Sanitiser wipes are always replenished. Great gym, great location with lots of parking and the equipments are being updated which is nice to use! and love the generous supplies of fruits too.

If you live local, this is the gym to be at! Clean facilities, all new equipment and racks. Staff is amazing, always a friendly face to greet you. Ken and Lauren are amazing and have catered for my needs following my accident, cannot thank them ENOUGH!

Really friendly staff, pristine facilities and I love that they have free keys and lockers available for use to store my clothes, phone and keys whilst I use the gym! They also offer free fruit at the entrance which I think is a really nice touch!

I have been a member here almost since its opening. The equipment is well maintained , space is good and all facilities clean . Staff all friendly and approachable. Can highly recommend this gym.
