This is a very small gym and as long you do not go during the busier times (6:00pm-9:00pm), you could get a decent workout in. The best thing that comes from getting a membership here is this gym being open 24 hours. Unfortunately, the equipment is quite limited but that is to be expected. The gym does overall look clean, however I noticed that the members do not like to wipe the equipment down. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager was not the greatest as most would say. I decided to cancel my membership due to financial reasons, and since I was still within the cancellation period, it was expected that I receive a full refund. I had made two payments, the down payment on the day I signed up and my first official payment the day after. I had only gotten one refund, and had waited more than one month to receive my other one which I still have not received to this day. I submitted my inquiry on their website for that specific location which was provided in great detail. Nisirine called me and told me that I will not be receiving another refund and is not supposed to receive one for an odd reason of “because I was a previous member 3 years ago”. Even the cancellation form, where Nisirine had signed and wrote (in her handwriting) that I were to be refunded for the two payments, was not enough evidence. While on the phone with Nisirine, I had kindly asked to, “please give me a moment to explain” because I could never get a sentence in without being interrupted. At the end, I was still interrupted and she never gave me a chance. I offered to come to the location within 10 minutes, but because they closed in about 40 minutes, she refused. She was quick to say goodbye and ended the call before I could even say anything back. I felt very disrespected and tried to solve the matter through Anytime Fitness’s customer service instead (which did not go anywhere or solve anything at all because of their limited access). Apparently, customer service had reached out to this gym several times but could not get an answer from them. I am making this review after 2 months of experiencing this, as I wanted to give it some time. I gave a lot of patience but Nisirine’s behaviour really stood out to me, which is why I will not recommend this gym. Unfortunately due to my terrible experience, I would rather lose the payment I made than go to their gym and waste my time to reason with her.

She inspired me to feel welcome returning to a gym environment after a period of inactivity caused by mismanagement and dissatisfaction with my previous gym at Anytime Fitness - Skypointe. It's evident that she genuinely cares about the work she does, and her dedication contributes to a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. In my experience with Anytime Fitness locations including Skypointe and District, Westwinds stands out as being held to a higher standard while under Nisrine's leadership. The core values of Anytime Fitness, focused on helping people thrive through a fit and active lifestyle, are truly embodied by this location and its staff. As a previous employee of a gym in Manitoba, this location exceeds all of my expectations and deserves 5 gold stars. I Lost my keys here last week (April 12, 2018) because someone had claimed to have worked there, and let in a non member. This lead to theft, and made the others think that she worked there. While thinking I had misplaced my keys I found needles throughout the gym that this person left behind. We all share these equipment and I would hate to see that months later someone caught a non reversable disease. The manager Hashim Malik dealt with this situation poorly. After viewing the thief on their video camera. He did nothing to help the situation. Obviously he does not care about the safety of others and only wants your business. I mailed him if he could update me on this situation and it took three days to get a response back. When i got a reply it was stating that he will be talking to the owner again, so where was my update. But as soon as I mention I would cancel my membership he contacted me right away. Don't expect to get anything replace other than getting a couple petty free months.

Gym is located in a convenient location and easy to access anytime. gym equipments are new and latest version, but gym size seems to be way too small, looks crowded even with 10 members working out. Space is less, and so as the equipments, have to wait for turns in case if you go on busy periods. Its a congested gym, so people need to keep on budging while working in front of mirrors. Its worth if you go on odd times of day. They got water fountain, where you can drink water or refill in small bottles, but when you have bigger ones like GYM JUGS, its hard to fill water. There is no secure place/lockers to keep stuff. No change room, so have to use washroom instead. when you are member of other gym like goodlife fitness or gold, you get access to many facilities like sauna, swimming and tanning, but here you wont, but still pay same money like goodlife fittness.. Big NO..

I am disappointed with the customer service. Cables machine has been broken for more than three months. I cut myself when putting the safety arm on one of the squat racks(Left). The cut wasn't minor, and while checking the safety arm had some spikes on it from corrosion or whatever. I informed the gym management about the  problem and needed to be resolved. Manager told me that we're all adults here. Good thing that she wrapped tape around the safety arm. I even asked her most of the equipment were not properly oiled and maintained, and she was already upset. She stated that parts for the Cable Machines are coming from the United States. I'm not sure if it's ATF policy to obtain all of their equipment and parts from US or can be bought from Amazon, which is easily available.

Me and my friend were thinking of joining this place but decided to try it out first on 1 week trial pass. The girl who signed us up was really nice and told that you can only enter before 9pm when staff is there but can workout as long as we want even after staff leaves. First 2 days went fine as that nice girl was there to let us in but on 3rd day the RUDE guy on front desk denied our entry. He said you cant workout when no staff is around and he is leaving in 15mins. I think there is no communication within staff and change rules everyday. We were in gym clothes and ready for workout but this Rude guy pissed us off. We requested him to let us workout that day and ensured we will come early next time but he gave us straight NO. Sorry guys but you guys lost 2 members today.

Worst place ever!! Never any weights to use cause it’s crowded. The bike sucks. The kickboxing stand (which is the whole reason i signed up here) actually gets to kick it cause it’s old and starting to get lumpy. There isn’t much room to work out space wise. Then I continue to pay for it and never go there, and the company that runs there payments is fraud!! They were saying my payments to them were declining for non suffice funds (which isn’t true cause I have lots of money in my account) but they had now problem 3 days later and took an extra $20 extra because of their NSF fees. LIKE WHAT THE HELL!!! Don’t trust this company with your personal information and don’t waste your time with the manager. He doesn’t actually care about anyone but his wallet.

This is one of the Top Anytime fitness locations in Calgary . I hit this one when jobsite travel gets me close . Big dumbell rack . Climbing bars off squat rack. NO garbage junk Precor machines here like most locations. Life fitness machines that are multi adjustable for small ladies & large men . High grade Leg Press , big dumbell rack , good solid adjustable benches . Always been very clean, that includes showers & bathrooms . Bigger bathrooms have really good removable spray heads this is a nice bonus . Many locations have cheap junk . Only negative Is a low number of free weight plates so when it's busy this can be frustrating.

Worst service ever. I went to the gym on 6th June 2023, Tuesday 11am & the girl at the front desk came up with worst customer service ever. I had a one time free pass for 7 days for the same location. The gym management should coordinate with the floor staff about the promotions. Arriving their she replied it’s not a hotel that anyone can come in and use the facilities. I am certified gym trainer, just moved from Toronto checking out my options to choose the right gym for me . I reckon they are not interested in getting people. Thanks for giving a reason for not choosing you. I would love to give a 0 star if i could.

Went with my boyfriend and scanned my fob we both have a gym membership. We didn’t bring his fob because we usually only use one. The rude lady in the office kicked us out because we didn’t scan his fob. She didn’t even ask for our name to search up our membership or anything. Very disappointed. The way she talked to us wasn’t nice at all. We were very excited to use this gym as there are different machines here than other locations. Will not return because of that lady, the way she acted was totally not cool and she needs some help with customer service. Treat people with some respect next time.

One of the very BEST Anytime Fitness branches in the world. I have been an Anytime member since 2014, I've been to many Anytime Fitness gyms in several countries - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand & Canada, including several in Calgary. This has to be one of the best I have come across. I live in the NW corner of the city, on the edge of the city and I make the trip here in the deep NE at least 4-5 times a week, because this is one of the most impressive Anytime Fitness gyms I have seen. The owners and staff have ALWAYS been polite, professional and fun. The range of equipment is superb.

If you want a different day, a different life style and different start then you should be ready to push yourself and go meet Nisrine... OMG she is the best trainer and a manager I have ever met, she makes the gym a place where you won't feel embarrassed to work on all the machines she will make you feel you are traning at home, she will challenge you until then she changes you, her Motivation and very happy vibes will get you started and keep you going non stop... she is the BEST. Excellent place , revitalized recently, better than ever . Ever since Kim came back , we have experienced breath of fresh air . Place looks clean , professionally organized . Service has exceeded expectations. I would implore all to revisit and see the difference . Group classes are back and all the trainers are better than ever . It’s well sanitized and well kept . I don’t know why everyone says that Nisrine is rude. She is the nicest and most straight up staff members of this location. If you can’t handle it then maybe visit a different location. She manages the location very well and if you don’t know how to follow certain policies that’s when people seem to think she’s “rude”. Maybe if some people learned to follow the policies in place staff wouldn’t have to repeat themselves constantly.

I just recently started coming to this gym. This gym compared to many other locations is super clean, tidy and the staff members are sooooo nice!! Naz especially is just phenomenal! She’s super helpful , trains me like a beast and is just a delight. I believe the staff has a huge part to play and I can absolutely say the staff at this gym do! Thank you for all you do! I joined Camrose club and the manager there Liz calbourne is Amazing person as well as professional. I moved calgary And here i am so disappointed with the unprofessional behaviour of Lady name Nasrine. I met her once and she start judging me and trying to be more smart which shows super poor customer service towards customers. I don’t want to see her again in my life. Otherwise club is fine.

Been trying over weeks getting in touch with anyone to sign up. Good luck in trying to get a response from the staff, they can't even pick up or return a simple phone call, even give an e-mail back. (I haven't contacted them during peak times either). Left my contacts through VM, no excuse. Signed up through Golds Gym instead, got in and worked out the same exact day.

I would give a zero star if I could! Totally a scam gym. They first said we can cancel it after one year membership ends, but now they said it will still get charged for one extra month because they need “30-day notice period”. They charge you $50 each person for machine maintenance at the end of your membership but they never fix their machine when it is broken!

The staff there is very friendly and the boss lady is very knowledgeable when it comes to fitness and nutrition. But the bad side is the members. Some treat the gym like it's their own house. Not cleaning after using equipment or the toilet not flushed after the guys use it. Plus they abuse and wreck the equipment. Otherwise it's an ok gym.

This gym is very convenient and consists of many outgoing employees who make the atmosphere friendly and more enjoyable. They have listened & did quite some improvement to the gym. I would suggest ATF to please arrange rubberised pads for deadlift. They have fixed the lock pin for over head cable & functioning well. They still need to fix the lock on leg curl. It is good gym to work out. Lot of room for improvement.

Excellent spot to work out. Place has changed significantly with new management that it really feels like my home away from home. Super clean and all the staff are very professional! Special shout out to Kim. The additions to lockers have been fantastic. Highly recommend joining this gym.

Such a nice facility! Travelling from Saskatchewan and have never been to an Anytime Fitness. I went 2 times while in calgary. The staff is so friendly, the facility was well maintained, great equipment, had all the stuff I needed for my workouts. Would definitely go again in my travels.

I had some issues with my billing. I went and talked to Nisrine, she has been nothing but absolutely best. She clearly explained me everything and accommodated my request. I 100% recommend this location as they have the best management, customer service, and equipment.

Called several times today in the morning (1) in the afternoon twice and tonight again. No one has ever bothered to pick up my calls once during those 3 times let alone a call back, I heard many great things about the gym and the staff but I guess that has changed.

This is the worst gym !! I call every two weeks tk cancel my membership, and they are still taking money from my account I haven't used this gym in over a year. With how filthy its kept the staff and the facility disgusts me. Sorry for whoever has to workout there.

I have been to multiple gyms around the city but this Anytime Fitness location makes me feel at home. Amazing & knowledgeable staff, always there to answer any questions. Well maintained and the facility is clean. I would recommend it to anyone! Great gym overall.

Needs better staff and they charge the same prices possibly more based on deals then bigger 24.7 gyms such as goodlife was not impressed with experience walking into this gym you'll also be expected to pay for the key card to use the gym that's 50$

Friendly and welcoming! It never seems to be busy. The staff is so friendly and full of energy. The trainers are actually fit and genuinely want to help you, even if you aren't buying anything. I'm not sure I will ever want to go to another gym.

I came in to get a membership and right away when i first walked in the lady that works in the managers office was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I had a very uncomfortable experience with her and decided to not get a membership because of her.

Seems to be consistently busy and dirty in the bathrooms around 1830 every time but other than that it’s decent. Some of the cardio machines are a little well used compared to your other AF locations however they work so that is a positive.

Constantly harrassed by the lady who works there daily. She will let her acquaintances do whatever they want like use there outdoor shoes for example. Felt discriminated against...and that's not okay at all!!

If you're looking for a 24 hour gym. Go here. Place is hardly clean. Equipment broken for over 3 weeks. Wipes rarely replenished. Bulletin board NEVER updated. Mirrors are nasty. Clearly under staffed.

I am visiting this location from out of town. I was very surprised and inconvenienced to find that towel service is not offered. I understand this is because the local members were abusing the service.

Gym is small like most Anytime Fitness locations but has two power racks, a studio, plenty of free weights and many treadmills as well as the usual machines and cable equipment.
