I was desperate for a storage option when I conveniently discovered Apple Self Storage just around the corner from the location I was moving my stuff from. Their downtown location was a huge plus for me. My interactions with the office staff convinced me before I even saw the units. I interacted with three different staff members during my moving process and they were all so great - very helpful and courteous. I was so impressed with the actual units themselves - very clean and climate controlled. Pest control was a big concern of mine since they are located in downtown Toronto, but my inspection of the unit space and their answers to my questions about pests (from mice to bedbugs) and their pest control strategies reassured me that my stuff was as safe from pests as it ever could be in a storage facility. I used their platform lift and their dollies throughout the moving process, and appreciated having easy access to this equipment that they provided for their clients. I would definitely recommend Apple Self Storage to others.

I have been using Apple's services for over a year now; in fact I am going to be moving out of their facility in the next few weeks, as I can now have my things with me (instead of in storage). I was referred to this facility by a long-time friend who was equally impressed with the services provided by Apple Storage. The service at this location has been exceptional; the staff and amenities have consistently exceeded my expectations. The facility is clean and well maintained, moving items in and out is a breeze, and the staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. The only area where I did not feel that the staff were putting me first is their policy of charging the full month rent on departure and refunding the pro-rated amount by company cheque. While I expect this is intended to protect them from any financial loss, it strikes me as a bit archaic in the 21st century… a credit to the card on file would be much more practical. I would highly recommend Apple to anyone who needs off site storage in downtown Toronto.

As always, my experience on site with the staff at Apple Self Storage was fantastic! Even during the times of covid, they are following all of the provincial protocols making customers like myself feel safe. Recently when I went on site, I was looking to pack some items out to clear up some room in my unit. Unfortunately, I brought only a few supplies with me and was getting agitated with the situation as I would have to leave to leave the unit and go buy some additional materials at another store. When I went to speak to the associate on site that day (Anita), she assured me that I wouldn’t have to make a trip off site and that they actually sold the packing materials right there. Anitas service, like all the other staff, was very professional and customer service oriented. She was kind, patient and warm which is really hard to come by these days with all of the stress people are managing. Would highly recommend using this facility!

I have used Apple Self Storage since 2006/2007 and noticed all the improvements over the years. I can say one thing, the customer service has gotten better. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. I have seen several rent increases over the years, which is a bit high overall, but for the great customer service, clean facilities (concrete floors are sealed and finished unlike most other storages) climate controlled consistent throughout the year and so on, makes it worth staying and paying a bit more. Occasionally, there are people (not staff at fault) that tends to hold the freight elevators on the floor (by leaving the doors open) and/or not returning the dollys/carts, so it ties up others who want to get to their storages, but it has never been too long of a wait. Security is high where there is a peace of mind that your items are safe. Thank you Apple Self Storage for being Great!!!

My experience with Apple Self Storage has been really great! Logistically, I love the great location downtown, and ease of access to my unit. It is so convenient to drive in, and loading and unloading is a breeze. The downtown location is just so perfect and ideal. But I think what made the experience better is the great customer service. The staff members are very attentive (and kind during these difficult covid times), answering all my questions and queries, whether in person, over the phone, or e-mail. Anita has been especially helpful with my billing questions and accommodating the many changes I had to make. When I was so stressed with moving, it’s nice to have one less thing to worry about. Also, once when I had accidentally forgot to lock my unit, staff was quick to contact me so I can go and lock my unit.

Everything you could want in storage they have and will do for you. Denis and associates will treat you the best do call if ever in need of storage. I called book a locker for one bedroom, Denis recommended size and it was perfect. I was in my locker all packed away in less than three hours no space waisted or extra space needed. Denis and his team will take care of you and when done you will be quite happy even feel like a VIP. Accessibility is easy and hours of access the best. Sure they will even refund what you paid if you paid for time you find you do not need and without notice. Thank you Denis and associates for your fantastic attentive accommodating service. Jennifer is a rude employee. Every run in with her has been horrible. You can be as nice as possible with her but she always has a chip on her shoulder and shouldn’t be working at the front desk. I finally complained about her attitude to head office and not even a week after that, my rent was raised (by her via email) for the second time in one year. Which ended up costing me almost $100 more a month than what I had initially signed on for. I was actually going to rent a second storage unit but I was just too bothered by her attitude that day I inquired about it and also what was happening with my rate to give them more of my business. I left that place shortly after getting that second rate increase email and I’m now at a way better place with way better rates and way better staff.

Great place, great customer service, very clean facility in the heart of downtown Toronto. The only thing I wish they had was automatic freight elevators, as the doors are very tough to open and close, and can remain at a stand still when not shut properly. I also wish they enforced parking in the loading docks, as people just park their cars, especially during peak times, and go into their units to tidy up or to go buy coffee etc., when actual trucks and businesses need to use the docks to move large and heavy items and have time constraints. This is always very frustrating and is very inconsiderate of the client's that use the facility. Other than that the customer service here is always 5/5! ☺

This is the first time I have used a facility to store my belongings. It's been nothing but a great experience. The staff is so courteous and knowledgeable. The premises are super clean and well organized. My friend uses another facility in the general area... but when I visited it with her, I was not impressed with the fact that the elevator didn't work (she says it happens often) and at Apple, they have separate loading/freight elevators, apart from the passenger elevator... My friend's did not. Also, my friend's isn't as clean and didn't feel as secure as Apple. I would recommend Apple Self Storage 100%

I was attacked by burglars that had code's to the door, they were in the storage center all night and they stole my new electric scooter, then attacked me when I confronted them, security was nowhere to be seen, I have yet to get a apology from Apple storage, also I'm a homeless senior citizen and next day was a Vortex with-28 weather with wind was -30 I put my tent up in the protection from the wind by front door and security who didn't protect me or my property kicked me out to the street in the-30 wind and said they don't care, the ashtray needed protection from me

This place has great prices and good service! What a great location it is so convenient to have a location close to so many condos! They also have post office boxes at a very competitive price and are available unlike so many post offices nearby. It would be much more convenient with 24 hour access because for me getting there by 10pm is not always possible. When busy (like at the end of a month) the elevators can be in high demand so it is important to make sure everyone closes the doors after they unload the elevator so they become available for others again.

Was in need for urgent storage with discount in the Eglinton and Bayview area. Was referred to this place (20 Research Rd) by the adjacent storage manager. They solved my problem, in particular Alisha who has been fast answering my queries and assisting me in anything I needed. Great discounts, closer location to the main street, closer units main ground, easy parking and car access inside the building, cleaner place, access to your unit at any time - day, evening, night, weekends. Very well computerize..just type your access pin and you're in.

Apple Self Storage is very clean and conveniently-located. The staff are helpful and have accommodated my needs very well. Although I currently only have a mailbox there, I recently had a storage space and it was like a giant closet because it was so close to my work and apartment. I have used other storage spaces in the city and was not as happy with them because they were in areas too far off transit lines, darker and damp - in one case, most of my stuff was flood-damaged and I got nothing.

Excellent facility. Location is awesome (downtown)...and while the cost of storage rental has been creeping up each year, I can't really complain. I'd save money if I moved my storage to Nunavut, but who wants to do that? I only wish the office/store was open on Sundays (since that's the time I usually can visit my locker) so that I can purchase things like boxes, tape, etc. The loading dock, the security, the parking, and the accessibility make this the ideal downtown storage. Loving it.

Apple is so convenient for me, exceptionally clean, dry, and secure. The staff is always helpful, available, and friendly. Moves in and out, and from floor to floor over the last few years have been smoothly accommodated. Stairs, a lift, two freight elevators, and a passenger elevator, not to mention a large four bay loading area, make access a breeze. Other users are generally very friendly too. I find the price very reasonable for this location, service, security, and maintenance.

I was dropping something off for work for the first time and wasn't really sure how the whole thing with the storage worked as I had multiple lockers to go to. I asked the lady at the office for help locating my lockers, and she actually took me to both of the floors, explained everything and gave me instructions for the elevator... Apple is brilliant, and I recommend them most highly. Their customer service is faultless (truly!!!), their facilities are immaculate, the loading docks are roomy, the downtown location is hella convenient (albeit a bit pricey vs something in markham). There can be occasional elevator or dolly waits - nothing over a few minutes - this simply reflects an excellent facility in use by many happy customers. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say about Apple. 11/10.

I've used Apple a couple of times when moving, currently for long term (multiple years). The location is very convenient and accessible. The facilities are clean, secure, well maintained, and the staff are friendly and supportive. The price may be a bit higher but you are getting prime location and quality service, so I feel its a good value if you care about your stuff! I recommend it to my friends and would use it again. I absolutely love apple storage! I recently took ownership of a 15 x 25 space and the staff helped me tremendously in finding the best location in the facility that would suit my needs for power, accessibility and access. I am VERY impressed at how efficient the location is in regards to setup and how much passion I can see the staff put into running the facility. I will probably be a lifelong customer at this location.

Overall our experience was excellent. The Staff was extremely helpful and very accommodating, which made our move much easier. They have units of all sizes which are clean, secure and the facility is at a convenient location. The rates are competitive and packing supplies are available. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Apple Self Storage. I have located my personal items at their Toronto Downtown on two individual events. I am always extremely satisfied. Their areas are easily accessible, well lit, spotlessly clean and there are always a lot of dollies available to move your valuables around as needed. Mostly significantly, their client support is excellent.

The Apple Self storage at Adelaide St W is the best storage. Dianne, Jennifer, Jeff, Pedro and Zaid are amazing! They are so friendly and so helpful. The atmosphere is awesome too. The storage unit is always clean. Even the bathrooms are clean. I always see someone cleaning. They are really organized too. I really love this storage. If I need a storage unit again I will choose this location.

The facility is clean, secure and easy to access. Lots of push carts around to help with loading and unloading. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. I have not encountered any anywhere else in Canada where the service is this friendly - definitely did not expect this from a self storage company. Amazing amenities struck us at our first visit to this site. Staff were very professional and attentive to our needs. The facility itself is satisfactory but the service is abysmal. There are two associates who works the counter and both are incredibly dismissive, curt, and make you feel as though you’re wasting their time. I will not be using this service again and will be sure to encourage friends and family to use alternative storage services.

Jeff was absolutely incredible with helping me. I was running into multiple issues through needing to upgrade a locker through a move while being between houses and was quite overwhelmed. Jeff was so enthusiastic and engaging and went above and beyond and turned a very stressful moving day into surprisingly a great one.

Theres 2 female staff that work in the front. Not sure of their names. One of them, the west Indian woman was extremely friendly and helpful. The other lady on the other hand, the Caucasian one, was the exact opposite. Very unwelcoming and extremely rude. Wouldn't recommend this place to . anyone just because of her

The storage unit and building is very clean, well lit and secure. the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and even suggested a super mover for us to use.

We have had our stuff in storage here for quite a while. The service is great and the staff are very friendly - esp Dennis! It is downtown Toronto and there is good parking access. It is also a very clean facility. The price is a little high - but since it is a business account, we are able to manage.

Rare location in downtown Toronto that is CLEAN, SAFE, and COMPETITIVELY PRICED. Short-term rental for 8 weeks that just tended. Jeff gave us a great orientation, by thoroughly explaining the contract terms and access procedures. If we ever had to rent again, I would definitely come back!

I rented a 5x10 storage unit for four months. The process was easy and I got a good discount with my rental. The location has a large loading bay and is very secure. I liked that the unit I had was 10' tall. My things stayed clean and dry while stored.

Absolutely terrible experience. They constantly move up rent after you’ve moved everything in and take every opportunity to nickel and dime you. They charge $80 to cut open a lock.
