I have shopped at this place for many years for different items, but I have discovered recently some practice with prices that is utterly unacceptable. I had isolated 2 items on my browser at home after some online search (price online R113 and R129, in line with market). At the till I am charged 2.5 times for the first item, and twice as much for the second. After I realise that back home, I check my browser and find the "mistake". I call, and am told to show up for refund. After some time, refund shows up with prices still 30% more than website, and I'm told this is normal, website prices and shop aren't the same. Be very careful shopping in this place, it seems to be a common practice as mentioned by other customers. Most items aren't even labelled with prices, and the couple of pictures I took on my day of refund and online check on their website show a 30 to 40% difference. Don't be fooled!

Got sticky stuff on my shoes here, some black greasy stuff. The staff weren't very helpful or knowledgeable about what I was looking for. It took 3 tries to find someone who knew what horizontal in line clamps were... they also didn't know where or how to order parts for some of the things they were selling, as the clamp I wanted was on 3 of their toolkits so I considered just ordering the spares. They couldn't get any unfortunately. The 2nd assistant was somewhat sarcastic and then came to make me and my brother look like idiots after he sent us away to power tools and pretend like we didn't ask him for info on buying spare parts. Over all, it's okay but the staff here aren't very helpful.

Are there still kind and understanding people in this world? my answer is def yes!!!! Absolute the best experience received for the first time walking into this store. the lady at the till saw i was totally loss and confused. she did not ignore me she stood up from her till ad greeted me polity and assisted me straight to the product, gave some info, when she saw i am looking for something else. she directed me to the back were the assistants will help me there. And wow did they truly helped me, Thank you so very much for this kind and friendly service, Well done to Management. for treating your staff well.

1 stop shop for all your DIY projects and for profesional work. i buy all my bolts washers and nuts there. tools and other basic stuff. pricing could be better. still expensive as always. would be nice if they could drop their prises abit more to other competitive shops. but a good place to go to for what you neet. from electrical to plumbing. welding to mechanical. best for the closest shop from my workshop.

Apple is the best local place for tools and hardware. You'll find quality and flexibility both in terms of selection and quantity of materials and bolts and nuts etc. On the downside while the staff are knowledgeable, you'll have to wait longer than you would expect to for service. This has been my consistent experience over multiple visits

This was my first time ordering from them. I placed an order online during the morning and received my package the very next day. My order was packaged extremely neatly and the price I paid was the best I could find at the time. I will definitely be buying from them again. Excellent service.

For such a small DIY store this company has the most increadible collection of requirements for the handy man. The service is attentive friendly and the staff are very knowledgeable too. I have moved my alliegence from Buiders to this company who's prices on many items are less than half.

Lots of lovely hardware here! Competitive prices, too. Wider selection than at e.g. Builders or BUCO. Service is adequate (if you're South African, that is). This is a must-visit stop if you're buying screws, bolts, power tools, and general handyman hardware consumables.

I went for some bolts. When I found the section I was greeted immediately, in fact before I was even aware I had found the right section, and helped with explanations of the different quality and which would be best for my intended use. Couldn't ask for more.

I was in need of a certain size male/female coupler and they did not have that size in stock. The salesman was very apologetic and said he would order it for me, but if I urgently needed it, he suggested another supplier that might have it in stock.

This hardware shop have excellent tools, but&bolts or household gadgets, but they are not that cheap. Mostly there are no one to assist me, while I was looking for some parts or goods, then I will leave the shop without buying a thing.

Staff all stand in little groups and chat without helping customers. Really needed some help but no one offered to assist me. Very disappointed in this store which has such great products. I suppose the problem can be solved.

If u want tools that other hardware shops dont have go to Apple. All screws etc are also obtainable in Stainless steel. Love the place. Where as a handyman I purchase my hardware.

Not a single sign up that says 'No dogs allowed' but they won't let me in. And above that, the selection of tools, in the range of sockets and spanners are fairly poor.
