Amazing little spot for coffee, kombucha, ice cream and other treats. We stopped after hearing how good the pistachio ice cream was and it definitely did not disappoint! The homemade flavours are all vegan and I haven’t been impressed with many before but these were so good! We tried the coffee, mint chip, and pistachio. We loved them so much we took a couple pints home after enjoying some on a cone. We also tried their love potion kombucha on tap which was good. Definitely looking forward to coming back to try their perogie brunch bowl and coffee! The owners were really lovely and friendly… now if only we lived walking distance away I would be there everyday! Can’t wait to go back.

Came for the yyc summer scoop festival! They are featuring a strawberry Fields forever ice cream - 2 scoops of strawberry ice cream + chocolate drizzle + fresh strawberries. It's dairy free, crazy creamy and smooth! One of the best strawberry ice creams ever I've had. You can even see a lot of real vanilla specks in it. Also had a haskap berry kombucha and an orange cream popsicle. The ice cream is made in house, try it before the scoop festival ends! Sooooo good!

Got the strawberry fields forever ice cream (their limited edition ice cream for the YYC summer scoop fest) and it was sooooo good!!! It was super creamy and rich and we later learned it was completely vegan (oat milk + almond milk). We also ordered a Happy Belly haskap berry kombucha and orange cream popsicle - Everything was amazing ! Happy to support this new local small business !

I heard about this place from a radio host who had been there and I think it’s going to become more and more popular as people check it out. Also a great place to start a walk or to let the kids play in the playground across the street!

Stumbled across this cafe while walking in the Ramsey area. Had a great latte and baked treat. There's a couple of benches at a counter indoors, but some tables outdoors for seating (weather permitting) with a great view of downtown. The staff were friendly and service was good. A nice place to take a break and enjoy a beverage.

Nestled in the heart of the city, Apprentice Cafe is a hidden gem in Ramsay that serves up the most blissful treats! The owner, Rein, is a true artisan and such a pleasant guy! Their creamy lattes pair splendidly with their homemade, artisanal ice cream, boasting unique flavours! Ten out ten, must try again!

So far I have had the strawberry, pistachio and vanilla ice cream and all are packed, absolutely packed, with flavour, very creamy and not too sweet. Service and ambiance is warm and welcoming. Very conveniently located to the Bow River path and the Stampede Grounds. Prices are reasonable.

Stopped in here for a coffee after stumbling across it whilst walking around taking in different areas whilst visiting Calgary. Great coffees, really friendly, welcoming and helpful service and, if it wasn't for the long flight time for us to visit, we'd make this a regular!

Amazing ice cream, much of it hand made in house. Owners/operators are super nice people who serve up tasty treats for HALF the price of abbey's creations (sorry Abbey's, but you'll need to sharpen your pencil quick!). Can't wait to see the winter warm food menu as well.

I tried the pistachio ice cream and wife had the Pina colada sorbet. Both were delicious. Great service as well. Nice to find a place like this while you're biking or walking in the area on a Sunday evening (lots of places are closed at that time). Highly recommended!

Ordered kombucha and a scone from here for delivery, but they were out of the scone I wanted. I was stoked to find out they sent me another scone for free (it was really good)! Will definitely be back :)

Apprentice is such a lovely neighborhood cafe. I stopped by and had a latte, the coffee was simply amazing. The owner, Rein, is so welcoming and a really good person to talk to. I will definitely be supporting the business whenever I can.

This cute spot serves fresh brewed delicious coffee. They have a window seat with a spectacular downtown view, and a little library. Come in, take a seat and have a sip!

I am italian, meaning icecream (gelato) is no joke for us ;) the apprentice delivered fully! Strawberry+balsamic was really awesome, bonus points for the effort on organic ingredients! Also, very friendly staff.

Best decaf latte in town! Hands down. The staff is so friendly, and the expanding menu is so exciting to see. Oh and if you haven't tried the homemade, dairy free ice cream - you MUST! Honestly - amazing.

So far we've tried the coffee and ice cream, top notch! Friendly and quick service. The cafe is a great addition to the neighborhood with close access to elbow/bow river pathways, and Scotsman's hill.

Amazing new place in Ramsay! The coffee, ice cream and cookie sandwiches are so good and the people working here are lovely! Will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis!
