I had an amazing experience at this bread shop! The meat bread and the cheese bread I tried were simply outstanding. While waiting in line, someone recommended adding an egg to the meat bread, which I didn't try but it sounded like a delightful option to explore. The quality of the bread and the flavors they offered were exceptional, and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of their offerings. The value for money at this shop is truly remarkable, making it a must-visit destination. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's honestly so good that it's definitely worth going!

The definition of a hidden gem ! , great food and great prices , having tried the egg , cheese and meat naan breads all were very good and very well priced from amazing home made Naan breads , each naan bread is a good size and has a nice amount of filling. The home made bread is excellent and is made fresh to order which only takes several minutes. If In the area and looking for a snack or something for lunch at a great price this is a great option

Make sure to try this place out - great for a quick snack, all the options are delicious and great value. I also buy bags of the plain flatbreads - soft, chewy, slightly charred on top with a bubbly texture. They keep really well, you can use them for days no problem. There are also garlic flavour and herb ones as well. The shop is tiny and easy to miss but find it and enjoy their perfect flatbreads.

Not the best bread in my opinion. Baked fresh but bagged later in plastic bags, so it doesn’t taste like fresh from the oven. They don’t bake it for you on request, you just get prepacked one, which was very disappointing experience for me.I could just buy it in a shop, no need to visit the bakery.

Wonderful Naan bread shop with hard working bakers. A great selection of various breads at affordable prices. They come hot out of the oven. One of Dalston's secret treasures that needs to be publicised and frequented by more passing customers.

At time of writing £1 for 3 huge, steaming chewy and thick flatbreads. Don't settle for the pre-packaged bags, insist on getting the ones that just came out from the oven. Incredible, you can't get anything this good in any artisanal whole-foods bakery. One thing done perfectly.

Don't be put off by the look of the bakery, this place is top level. Flatbreads are out of this world, always fresh and amazing value for money. I can't understand why more of the local restaurants don't use them. Those that do - Supa Ya Ramen and Lebab - should be commended.

Ararat bread is a fantastic family run business in the Dalston market. They make a ton of fresh naan on a daily basis. It is super cheap and they taste great. I would definitely recommend the Keema Naan which is only £2, it tastes delicious and it'll fill you up.

  • Angela Perry

Delicious, authentic hole in the wall bakery, super fresh, quick and exceptional value. We had the cheese (made fresh while you wait) and a bag of herb to go. Next time will l request loaves fresh from the oven. My only regret is not trying this local gem sooner.

  • James Bonin

God knows why the supermarkets in this neighbourhood still try and sell pita bread. £1 will get you three absolutely delicious pieces of what I would call naan bread but technically that’s probably not correct. Who cares absolutely fantastic bread freshly made.

  • Akman G

The best naan type breads, fresh, cheap and tastes great, freshly cooked and packed. It is located inside the market near the entrance, they also do meat naan, egg naan and cheese naan freshly made while you wait with excellent inflation beating prices

Fabulous naan bread at this bakery on Ridley Road in East London. We had the plain and garlic naan breads which come in packs of 3 breads. They are seriously good. Best I have had in a while. Ours were still warm when we bought them! Bring cash.

Great place ! Bread is freshly made. Ordered meat bread, prepared on request. It was amazing ! Bread is crispy and the meat flavourful with a bit of spice which give a nice kick. Did I mention it’s only 2£ ? Best deal ! Staff is great as well.

£1 for a bag of 3 discs of bread that I take home and heat up in my oven. 60p for one garlic bread heated on the spot, 40p for the plain. Other options too like egg and some sort of mystery meat mince that I got once before. Amazing deal.

  • Gavin Norman

Fantastic bread, great prices. We have worked on the market for about a year now, and when your cold this is THE place to go. Cheap and filling. The staff are a great laugh and treat us like family. 10 out of 10

  • Romy Denton Hall

Honestly so so good. We got the meat bread and the cheese bread (someone in the queue told us to add egg to the meat bread, we didn't but maybe try this too!) Such good value for money, definitely worth going

  • Taylor Barringer

Doesn’t get any better than this place. It’s small so don’t expect anything fancy. Just grab your flatbreads and go. But get there quick if you’re holding out for the little discs, they sell out quickly.

  • Jay Kay

Honestly the best bread in London! Have missed it during lockdown. Swung by this afternoon and got 3 packs of 3 for £3. That's a total of 9 naan breads. Great value, great taste, what's not to like?

  • David Ryan

Best Naan I've had here, fresh, perfect texture, delicious. We both got egg and cheese, and 3 to take home, but ate 2 of the 3 pain Naan before making it back. They're doing the lords work.

  • Mina S M

Amazing people that work here. Didn't have enough change and they were trusting enough to let me come back another day. Bread is made in front of you and is absolutely gorgeous.

  • Chris Hayes

Best flatbread I've had in London. Chewy, doughy and with a lovely charred taste from the grill. Have been coming here for years and it never fails. Freezes well too.

  • Leighton Smith

I love a no-nonsense place like this. Good cheap eats kind of spot. Very tasty. Definitely has an ‘authentic’ feel about it. Worth checking out for a quick meal.

  • Lee-Tze Leong

Great staff and some of the best bread I have ever eaten. Light, fluffy and melts in the mouth. Also very good value-for-money. Would definitely eat again!

  • Saleh Abalkhail

Super delicious, I had eggs & cheese bread and meat bread, for sure; I will come back again. The staff were so lovely, kindly and generous.

  • Casey Ho

Best bread!!! Love having the ones with topping fresh from there and also love buying a few packs of the plain ones to keep in my freezer.

  • Gege Grace

The best naan in London. They’re great fresh, but I️ tend to buy their discs of 3 to go. They come conveniently in bags and are £1 each.

  • Lizzie Crowley

yum yum - always pick these breads up from the Walthamstow Spar and pop them in my freezer to have with homemade curries

  • Louis Wilkinson

Top shelf legit flat breads. Only had the meat naan (multiple times) other than packet of normal and herb breads.
