One of the staff members was extremely rude, I went in to purchase a phone case. After buying it and walking away I noticed that he handed me the wrong case, the case he handed me was the wrong colour and for a completely different device. I returned and waited in the queue for around 5 minutes before informing the man that served me prior that he gave me the wrong case, I even showed him my receipt that proved that he gave me the wrong item, he just said it’s the item that I paid for, which it wasn’t because my receipt literally had the correct item that I paid for on it yet he gave me something completely different yet kept saying over and over that what he gave me is what I paid for. Their attitude was also extremely inappropriate, they messed up yet it somehow wasn’t their fault, all they had to do was open their eyes and see that they gave me the wrong item and swap it over to the correct item and that would have been the end of it. This went on for a few minutes before I just went ahead with a refund. I definitely won’t be returning to this Argos ever again, the guy that served me was completely inept at his job.
Excellent Customer Service from Charlie at Argos Abbey Wood During my recent visit to the Argos store in Abbey Wood, I had the pleasure of being looked after by Mr Charlie. His professionalism, kindness and collaborative spirit made my shopping experience exceptionally positive. Charlie showed great product knowledge and helped to assemble the purchased item. It is rare to find such a high level of customer service and I believe it is important that the store manager and the company as a whole are aware of Mr Charlie's exceptional qualities. His approach to work represents real added value to Argos and I hope his excellent performance is recognized and appreciated. I will certainly continue to shop at Argos, especially at the Abbey Wood branch, and will recommend this shop to friends and family, largely due to the wonderful experience provided by Charlie. The manger at this store is disgustingly rude, incapable of proper customer service and has zero work ethics. I returned a camera because they gave me the wrong size lense. I asked her for the correct lense and she said they don't have it. So I then asked her if I can return the camera and she rudely refused? Stating that she cannot sell it and it's used. Surely she would be educated enough to know that the camera could not be used with the wrong size lense? Wasted my time and money due to her atrocious customer service. Thankfully, I returned the camera back at another store. Stay away from her and this Argos because she doesn't care about her customers!
We went to return a camera which came with the wrong size lense. The manager was not very nice about us returning it and refused to do so, by saying she can’t return it as we had already opened it. We continuously explained how we cannot have used the camera as there is no lense and without it won’t work. Even after hearing that she continued to remain rude and not return the camera. Which we then unfortunately had to go to another store and they allowed us to return it. Her behaviour was not acceptable and she needs to be a bit more understanding of what her costumers complaints are.

One person claimed to be the Manager called Adrian refused my tv return which was with the film protection on, and all the parts fully sealed .... He was so arrogant saying that it is up to them to accept returns and not the law of 30 day return.
The manager Page doesn't accept a return of faulty headphones because I said the quality wasn't good as she assumed I used them when just by looking at a product you can see how the quality is going to be, shame on her. 0 stars for customer service.
Very happy with Argos opening this store at Abbeywood. Because previously had to travel 5 miles in order to collect the products from different store.
Came to return a product and received the worst customer service. The lady was rude and was showing attitude. She also didn’t accept my return.
Paige and the team were amazing today. Very helpful with our washing machine problem. They sorted it in minutes. Many thanks Paige.
