I recently visited the Army Museum and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The museum had a wide range of exhibits that showcased the rich history and culture of the army. From the uniforms and weapons to the stories of bravery and sacrifice, the museum had something for everyone. What I loved most about the museum was their presentation of the exhibits. The museum staff were knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the army, and they brought the exhibits to life with their storytelling. Their attention to detail was impressive, and it was clear that they had put a lot of effort into making sure that the visitors had an enjoyable and educational experience. The museum is a unique and historic plan of its style in this region inaugurated and opened for public on 13 Aug 2017. Its presentations are carefully chosen and thoughtfully organized with a sharp and keen eye for recording exact events of over 9000 years of history and heritage that has no contemporary parallels in the Country. The Museum is an excellent source of information and awareness about Pakistan’s past. It depicts history and heritage of Pakistan Movement titled [1] Rebirth of a Nation, [2] Quaid and Armed Forces, [3] Pakistan’s War history including fight against terrorism, [4] Shuhada (martyrs) شہداء Corner, [5] Nishan-e-Haider (Pakistan's highest military gallantry award) Gallery, [6] Life at highest battlefield Siachen, [7] Kashmir Corner, [8] Pakistan’s contributions in United Nations, [9] Nation building efforts and [10] tribute to sacrifices of Minorities titled white of the Flag. There are about 180 life-size dioramas, incredibly realistic sculptures, made by some of Pakistan’s best sculptors and artists. Pakistan has been the most significant and consistent contributor for the UN Peacekeeping around the world. In short, the place is highly recommended worth visiting.

One of the. ice addiction of museum in the city of lahore. Like every army museum it is a nicely built and organised. Mostly the equipment are too old. The entry ticket is 80 Rupees For adults and 30 Rs for the children less than 12 years old. The separate lines for ladies and Gents. No food and eating items are allowed. Please save the ticket . It has 2 coupons one for entry in the museum and one for the internal building. The main attraction is inside the building. The lawns are well maintained. Armed personnel is every where. Not allowed to cross the rope where ever they are. In the indoor museum one thing is very important. You are allowed to walk only in one direction. If you miss some section and want to revisit it. They will not allowed you. Not to touch anything. You can take pics and read the history. In the last the most disappointing thing is that the washrooms are not maintained. They are lfull of liter and smelly. Stunt to go there. How is it possible? The families with children are visiting on daily basis and they are not maintaining such a very important facility.

It's a place worth visiting especially for kids. Was not too impressed by the indoor museum because it wasn't much related to army but yes they had some very beautiful art pieces inside. The outdoor vehicles were the main attraction for me and the family. It was very clean which I loved. A lot of the vehicles were same so it got a bit monotonous at the end. We were so tired by the end we had to leave without completing the round. Thought we will go again since we live not too far. It says online that you can only buy the tickets till 11am but people were buying it even at 2pm. I would have recommended to carry a water bottle and small snack especially if traveling with kids but I'm pretty certain food and drinks aren't allowed. There is a small food stall inside the museum in case any food or drink is required.

Recently, had the opportunity to visit the Army Museum in Lahore. I was literally stunned to see the attention to detail. On the very entrance you find these very amazing black granite slabs having all the names of Shuhada, which i thought was a great tribute. The lifesize mannequins depicting different real life events are the starlight of the museum. The fight against terrorism is covered beautifully in a dedicated section. Different sized tanks and canons on display are breathtaking, i especially liked, on display, a captured tank. The complete range of helicopters and planes were beautiful. I never knew that you could see them so upclose. In a nutshell, It was time well spent as it was informative, amazing and close to reality. Hip Hip Hurrah! Pakistan Zindabad!!!

A best place to educate and guide your kuds about our country's history and ancient times of our civilization. Best art piece you can see here. A good collection of emanations can also be seen. So many things to see. Videogrsphy is not allowed . You can do photography only. Eatables are not allowed inside, but there is a small cafeteria or shop where u can buy cold drinks, coffee biscuits, and other snacks. Although I asked one of the officers if we can't bring our own things due to cleanliness restrictions, then what is the purpose of that shop inside the museum? People are buying cold drinks and leaving empty bottles here n there on grounds. Please follow the rules and make your trip beautiful just like this place.

We reached there at 10 AM. The place was awesome with huge parks and parking area outside. Elders ticket was Rs.80 while below age of 12 was Rs.30. To enter the place you are not allowed to carry any edibles, stationary, cigarettes, water, nail clippers and such kind of other stuff. Inside the museum you find 2 areas (1. open area of museum and 2. building of museum). In open area, there are retired helicopters, tanks, planes and anti-aircraft guns. While in the building, you find the statues of soldiers, animals used in old wars, and historical instruments of wars. There is also a cafeteria for refreshment which is economical and good for quality.

army museum was really great, it had life size sculptures which were the main aspect of it. it had a chronological sequence and displays of the army's efforts in different wars etc. the museum made me really emotional, the sculptures were so well made that one could mistake them for a real person and it happened to me quite a lot of time. it had well displayed events. my favourite part of it was migration on train, i couldn't help but cry after seeing it, the essence, the struggle, the pain, the loss and the hope of a new nation well captured in the sculptures. truly moved, truly loved it.

A very good place with a lots of history and information about military. They have portrayed a beautiful and historic view of 1947 with connects so deep. It show how our beloved made sacrifices for this beautiful country. And a very rich history how its all started when British rules starts. When we talks about army you'll see every old and latest technology weapons and with details. One of the best place to visit with family. Very well organised, extremely professional. All the details are near to nature. Spark the patriot inside me. Staff is well trained and know all the details in there sections. Best part is cafeteria, products are fresh and hygiene, and on top of that prices are very normal. They don't charge extra which is very normal practice amongst others. Only the draw back is tickets are very limited, only 200 every day which I guess is not enough. But kid love this place and mostly School should take trip so our young generation should know about history.

Wow what can I say about this place, the place is awesome, the collections if things is awesome. I don't think the type of engineering used in making this building , is used anywhere else in even I think this much engineered building, thought provoked, real looking statues, the moments, the concepts used here to demonstrate the thi gs, are out of class, I think i am out of words to tell any more details about this place. Must pay a visit if you have time ⌚. I had a lots of pictures, but here are some of those to show what is inside if it. regards

Fantastic experience. Beautifully curated museum, you can really see the effort put into this. All weaponry is authentic, and even the insignias on the British soldiers' sleeves are historically accurate. Couple that with imaginative displays and thoroughly professional staff and you've got a great way to spend the day. Trust me, no matter how much you know, you'll find out something you never knew before, dating from ancient times. I sure did.

Nice experience but lack of management in the entrance. Protocol still exists, families of security forces get preferences even the security forces officer not present with family. A commendable effort by the army to record and exhibit the achievements of the nation. What a thrilling experience to see the displays that they have carefully curated. The fee was very nominal, I wouldn't have minded paying triple or quadruple the price for what they had to offer. The souvenir shop had great gifts too. A must see if you are visiting Lahore.

Could not get entry tickets for Museum and only enjoyed in the adjacent park. According to Hawkers they sell only 500 tickets per day starting from 9:00 A.M. to onwards that means you have to collect tickets early and can visit Museum till it's closure i.e. 4:30 P.M. however park remains open after that. Every Thursday and Friday are closed days.

Army Museum has been the best place that I have visited in my life. Being a Pakistani, this place will give you a true feeling and the place made me proud of my beautiful country. Really heart touching and makes you realize the sacrifices our people and army has done to protect us and the struggle for the prosperity of our nation.

  • Dr. Zia ud Din Sindhu

Awesome place to visit with kids. We enjoyed a lot there. One thing i couldn’t understand that you are allowed to take pictures but not the video. Could understand the logic behind this decision. Highly recommended Tip: send some one in the morning to get tickets as they only sell a limited number of tickets every day.

All history related priceless things are here related to the armed forces. Especially the 1947 train scene they capture and bring as dummy here. They give tribute to all our martyred soldiers. Overall it's a good place to visit.
