A fantastic collection spanning centuries housed in a gorgeous building. It's amazing to see so many well-known works of art and artists in one place and to discover so much more. There's a lot of walking, but no need to rush. Even a quick trip will take a couple of hours.

One of the great museums of the world. Everywhere you turn there is a famous painting hanging in front of you. Seeing these works of art in person, in my opinion, provides a deeply emotional experience. Genuinely love this place and I could go back again and again and again.

Love the art, but it is frustrating to go in here and not be able to read anything because the plaques are so incredibly small, and with so many people it is difficult to view them. Would love to see some more effort put into making them accessible and easily read for everyone.

You really need to visit this place. Beautiful art every corner. So many things to see! Contemporary, modern or classic. You have to witness the greatest of humanity in their essence. Art.

Amazing Can't believe I was able to see so many iconic pieces in real life. Chicago is such a wonderful city, full of museums, architecture, restaurants, and The Art Institute is a must visit.

The Camille Rosalie Claudel exhibit is the story of love, passion, despair, betrayal, and glory of the greatest female sculptor in history. Through February 19, 2024 you can dissolve yourself in the most erotic masterpieces ever created.

I am not that high brow but this place always amazes me. I took advantage of one of the many free days they offer Illinois residents. One of the greatest perks there is.

It's been a long time since I last visited the Art Institute of Chicago. It's really good to see a nice variety of art from different countries, cultures, and artistic styles.

Love the art institute! I go see what new exhibits they have when I visit Chicago. Also love that they feature works by contemporary Indigenous artists. More
