"Today I went into your Stonecot Hill branch with my sister with no intentions of buying anything I was just accompanying her"
"Used the self service till today and as usual an error when I put empty bag down and pressed done"
"Great little store! Filled with lovely staff and great customer support and service! Thank you to the self scan checkout team for help and also the amazing security guard with red hare I couldn't catch his name but he got me from the store to my taxi with my shopping and help me with getting a shopping trolley with his pound as I didn't have a token! I will be back!!"
"It's a small store so don't expect the full range"
"Very accommodating"
Today I went into your Stonecot Hill branch with my sister with no intentions of buying anything I was just accompanying her. I said to my sister I would wait for her outside whilst she was paying for her goods. As I was walking to the exit the store manager Dan Phillips said to me “can you open your bag for me” which took me by utter surprise as I hadn’t even approached the alarm barriers. If I had approached the alarm barriers and the alarm went off I would have completely understood. I also said that I come into this asda on a regular basis as it is my local shop where he said “I’ve never seen you before”. I worked in retail for 5 years and know you are only supposed to approach someone if you suspect or the alarm barriers go off. I felt totally humiliated and anxious in the shop as everyone could see the situation and it drew a lot of unwanted attention to myself. Has it now become Asda’s policy that if you don’t purchase something you should be stopped and searched before you leave the premises? Another shopper entering could see I was distressed as I was crying and shaking in disbelief of what I had been accused of and asked if I was ok and said that Dan Phillips was in the wrong for what he had done to me. Although the manager did state he has not shouted or swore at me this doesn’t matter or change the fact that he singled me out as a shoplifter which I found very discriminating. I am decent citizen and I feel extremely upset and distressed with how I was treated. They have now lost a customer who purchases from their shop on a regular basis due to the fact of how I have been treated.
Used the self service till today and as usual an error when I put empty bag down and pressed done. Happens frequently. A blond assistant came eventually after I requested help. Very surly didn't speak, ignored me, just swiped her pass. Not first time she's behaved like this. Appalling manners/service. Kiosk last week an assistant was more interested in talking with her colleague than acknowledging my presence and serving. They don't seem to understand how to be customer facing. Why do they hire such rude people!

It's a small store so don't expect the full range. Car park is busy at peak times. There's not enough baskets for shopping, and the staff are slow to notice the container by the entrance is empty, and to retrieve the used baskets left at the checkout. But at busy times they will all be in use so you might not get one. Suggestion to Asda: Buy another 20 baskets...
Very accommodating. My Autistic son had to wait outside the shop as it was too noisy for him to go in, I give him my phone and his dad stayed on the phone with him. staff member saw he was out there on his own and checked he was ok. They also asked to speak to who was on the phone to make sure he was ok
Clearly states that if you park at the collection point and call, they will bring your package out. I am 8+ months pregnant and when I called they said I needed to come in to collect my package even though the picture/sign clearly states this. Not sure if the sign is wrong or staff are just lazy.
Staff very unhelpful. Was asking a lady for help with looking for item. As looked where the rest of the cosmetic products are and couldn't see it, And was to busy chatting away to another member of staff and just pointed to an aisle.( sure she was management, think polish, blonde hair)
My first visit to this branch. Very disappointed that there are no cycle stands, only motorcycle and car spaces. Until the design fault is rectified, I doubt if I will return to this branch despite the store itself being like any other small/medium size ASDA.
Several occasion have tried to park in the disabled bay as my partner is disabled as usual you get The selfish people who think that they're entitled to park without displaying a disabled badge. Spoke to a member of staff they were as useful as a wet paper.
Visited Asda Stonecot store as Sutton store did not have specific items required (out of stock as visited just after xmas). Was delighted to find all items (which had been advertised on promotion/special offer) available & even used Asda
Get nearly anything you need for a weekly or monthly shop. Friendly staff. Smaller store so easier to get through whole shop quickly. Rarely empty shelves. If looking for specific items or brands may not find them as is a smaller branch
A medium sized supermarket, bigger than an Express but not as large as a Metro to use a competitors descriptions. No toilets, but a reasonable selection of goods. Car park, and buses stop right outside as is on a main road.
Short red head older women moody as hell , just flung the baskets on the floor hitting an old lady and just walked off , I’d suggest someone from area office mystery shopping in the store to observe from a customers view
Lovely staff and quality. Love the price. Whilst being a smaller Asda compared to Roehampton or Kingston nearby, it still has a good variety and fully stocked. Better quality than the likes of Tesco or Morrison's.
Stock is very limited and often not well organised. Understandable due to the space restrictions, but the shelves are often not replenished or have much out of place/empty boxes in the way that need to be removed.
Always understaffed and if only one serving at lottery tobacco kiosk when someone wants a parcel then hey ho you have to wait a lot longer to get served this is a supermarket if you want other stuff use a courier
I was served by a customer assistant called Esther. Worst service I have ever received from Asda and she claimed she has been working for last 20 years and It looks like she is fed up with the job.
Serves the local community well. Often have reduced baked items at the end of the day. Needs slightly better stock management as items are often unavailable. Great for quick shop of a few items.
Supposed to be open till 11pm today as says on the web and on the sign at the front of the store. Was closed and locked up @ 10.20 pm. Wasted bus fare and no essentials tonight …
Pleasent clean mid sized store, holds reduced range as a result. Not sure you will find your full weekly shop here but good for a convenient top up. Car Park can get rammed at times.
Nice and small supermarket. You get most of the stuff, daily ones, but have less variety as it is a small store. Another benefit is we can do click and collect our online orders too.
Very pleasant first experience of this particular branch of asda, prices seem ok , shelves well stocked , air conditioning was doing its job - making more of my shopping experience
Asda is a well-stocked supermarket with a wide selection of products, but occasionally, the checkout lines can be a bit slow. Overall, a convenient shopping option.
This ASDA is a smaller store than the one nearby. There is plenty of parking which is free for a limited time.
Every time i go into this store the staff are always helpfull
The staff is polite and respectful. The products are good
Never found things I want better go little far in Tesco
Its not a big asda but it had what i need. At the time
Good little shop for quick visits
